Biscuits Cafe was just what we needed when I had 5 hungry kids with me for lunch! We were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress and had a wonderful lunch experience. The kids loved that they could get breakfast even at the lunch hour and the chocolate chip pancakes put smiles on all their faces. Disclaimer: I went the first few weeks they were open at this spot; however, it is a chain so I expect fewer growing pains. The Omelet: Disappointing. I have had better omelets at Shari's restaurants. It was more of an egg wrap, not much effort. The Apple Juice: Pitiful. My brother loves apple juice with breakfast and the only size they had was LITERALLY about 4 ounces. The waitress admitted that it was poured directly from the can. It was also horribly overpriced. The space: Yes, it was big, but it was also impersonal. We had a party of five and they could not really accommodate a party that big comfortably. End result: If you want a really good breakfast, head down the road another 8 minutes and go to South Store Cafe or (in the other direction) Cafe Murayhill. read more

I'm not sure what has happened to this Biscuits, but the service is terrible. We were seated and then it took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and offer us a cup of coffee. Waitress was very cold and standoffish. The food did come quicker than we thought it would. It was very good as usaual. Had to keep asking for coffee refills that took a very long time to get. Only managed to get 2 1/2 cups . Last refill she only filled it hafe way, very strange. Probably won't be coming back to this one. It use to be very warm and welcoming. read more

Love Biscuits Cafe. We usually go to the location in Portland but since we were in the Sherwood area thought we'd stop in this location. Food: the same as other Biscuits, simple yet tasty! The biscuits are so delicious. Just the right amount of density but light as well. Service: we were seated quickly, our waitress was friendly and quick. Atmosphere: busy but plenty of seating. I would say this location is not as clean as the Portland location which was a turn off. The bathroom needed to be cleaned and the kitchen is open to the dining area so you can see where the food is prepared, not just an window into the kitchen like some restaurants do. I wasn't impressed seeing a cutting board covered in bread crumbs and knife where they were preparing food. They need a wall to separate the areas. Other than that, good experience! read more

Meh... not bad... but not awesome. I had the corned beef. It was shredded and not the typical way I have normally had it prepared. My lady had the chorizo omelette which was decent too. According to her the food was much better before the restaurant grew from one to many locations. That can tend to happen when you grow. Just dont forget the recipes that make you successful are the ones that allowed you to grow. I would go back but I would probably order something else to give it a try read more

We arrived around 10am on a Thursday and they weren't busy at all. We were seated right away but it took a little for the waitress to come by to take our order. We received our food fairly quick however I didn't receive my toast that came with my meal. The waitress came by a couple minutes later saying it would be right out, but I never got it. The staff was in la la land with everything going on. My whole party had been sitting waiting with empty plates. The waitress finally asked if we were paying separately. About 15 minutes later after glaring at her, she brought our checks which she had put the wrong items on ours. When she brought them back, she said here's some pens and left. Honestly just irritated that it wasn't busy, but she was frustrated she had to help us. Food was good as always so I won't knock that, but y'all need to train or find a better staff. read more

One of my favorite breakfast locations. I've never been disappointed with the quality of food or service. I usually order exactly same order( veggie head omelette with potatoes and pancakes). This was my first experience at Biscuits so I wasn't sure what to expect. We met for breakfast at 11:00 A.M. on a Saturday so it wasn't crowded at all. We were greeted immediately, seated, and handed our menus in a matter of minutes. The menu was quite extensive and it had a large variety of breakfast items. We were met by a male server who was very friendly and helpful. I chose the Greek omelette with red potatoes. Considering we were a party of 5, the food arrived quickly. My omelette was delicious with spinach, feta cheese, and onion. The red potatoes were perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. Our server was very attentive and refilled our coffee and soft drinks without a problem. I will definitely be back and hope the experience is as good as this one :) read more

My meal at this Biscuits was hands down the worst restaurant experience I've had in some time. Our waitress was disinterested, and provided the bare minimum service. My favorite breakfast dish of Eggs Benedict arrived quickly - too quickly! I believe the food was precooked then just reheated in the microwave. The Hollandaise sauce was separated, the poached eggs were overcooked, the ham was too hard to chew, and the english muffins were slimey like the egg & meat had been sitting on it for awhile. Just looking at this dish and you could tell it was not freshly cooked. Which was so surprising in an almost empty restaurant. Not only did it look terrible, it tasted awful. This is the first I have ever written a review but my experience and becoming physically sick after eating the food has left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be going back to this location ever and I'm much less inclined to recommend Biscuits to a friend in the future. read more

I've been to 3 other Biscuits and have always thought they were pretty good and consistent. This one proved to be a little disappointing compared to the other ones. The Good: They were not very busy so we got seated pretty quickly. The coffee was decent and they kept the cups full. The Bad: Our service was pretty sub par. A lot of the basics (silverware, creamer, etc) took an effort to get and the waitress was not very welcoming. Nothing horrible but a lot of the little things done wrong. The Food: The food was hit or miss. I did the meat platter and found the sausage to be very greasy (even for sausage), the bacon over cooked and crispy but not very warm and the hash browns were a little bland. The biscuits, ham, and eggs were both very good. In general, this isn't a bad place to go and it is super close which is nice. Weird! This location has bad service and boring food. My one daughter ( who hates any potato) loves their potatoes. So we eat here or I watch her eat here. Now my other potato eating daughter loves the Lake Oswego location with better service and much better food.
