The place

The place is great! The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The service was amazing and the food is wow amazing. The shrimp and grits are stellar. Some of the best I've ever had. The hash browns are perfection and the biscuits are worth a try. The hubby has eggs Benedict and there was nothing left when I looked up. He said they were really delicious. It all looked so good we just dug in and forgot the pictures but it was definitely picture worthy.

Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

I would not recommend the biscuits with sausage and gravy here. I'm not sure how the other dishes are though. I was craving biscuits and gravy and decided to try Biscuit. It was so disappointing. The gravy had no flavor and was a strange consistency (powdery). The sausage bits in the gravy did not add any flavor either.

Southern Benedict

Came here on a late Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately. Service was fast and our server was nice. I especially liked the vibe of the real plants through out the restaurant. Southern Eggs Benedict - I really enjoyed this dish. I ordered mine with extra crispy hash browns and the chef delivered, they were perfectly crispy. The pico and sautéed vegetables added a unique taste combination on the Benedict that I enjoyed. Sweet Ricotta - Ordered with all crepes instead of the standard 2 crepes with 1 pancake. For a dish with the name sweet in it, kinda expected the crepe to taste sweeter. They did serve it with syrup, and when I had a bite with the fruit jam it was nice. The ricotta was interesting, probably would opt for a different crepe option next time. Frisco Skillet - Standard skillet filled with tons of vegetables and meat. We ordered the eggs over medium and they were perfectly cooked. Overall if you're looking for a brunch spot in the Stonebriar area Biscuit is a decent option!

The service was excellent, and the waitress was so nice! I couldn't decide between a waffle and French toast, but she helped me choose the French toast. I ordered it topped with strawberries and cheesecake filling, and a side of Applewood smoked bacon. The food was good, and I enjoyed every bite!

The front desk agent at the Aloft in Frisco Texas recommended this spot. She said everyone always raves about it so we decided to give it a try. And she was right! It was a Sunday morning so I was a little nervous that they might be backed up but our party of 2 was seated immediately even though they were packed. The waitress was very knowledgeable about menu options as I had countless questions. We finally decided on 1 sweet and 1 savory dish. They came out quickly and were delicious! Overall the restaurant was clean and the bussers seemed to turn the tables over fairly quickly. I would definitely, go back. Wish it was in my city.

The service was spot on! Everyone was really nice and checked on us often. The space was very clean and well decorated! Definitely a brunch spot! The food was so good. The biscuits was a mix between a biscuit and a roll... but definitely a biscuit. And the serving size was massive!

Did they dig this tomato out of the trash?!

This review is strictly for their Salmon Benedict. For something that costs $17 plus tax plus tip, I expect to at least get fresh ingredients. So why was I served a tomato that looks like it's been at the back of a fridge for months, and an onion so thickly cut I can't even chew it?

Spinach Omelet With Sweet Potatoes

Very nice restaurant! The weather was fair so we sat out on the covered patio area. The service was great, the food was wonderful, and the whole vibe of the restaurant was just easy! Quick delivery of our food. Highly recommend!

Corned beef hash, beer biscuits, potatoes and strawberry and crème crepes!

Absolutely amazing! The food here is as fresh as it gets and the flavor is 10/10. I loved the vanilla americano it was flavored perfectly and they offer a number of different flavored half and half's which I appreciated. The customer service was excellent and it seemed like they enjoyed their job! I will definitely come back.

(Ryan Reynolds voiceover) The vibe is fab place for breakfast! Biscuit! Nora warmly greeted us! We already knew what we wanted: Fresh squeezed Orange Juice is always a hit with me. Chicken Fried Steak. Perfect! It's the American weinerschnitzel. Hearty! Delish! The extra crispy hashbrowns, gravy and biscuits were perfect! The Chorizo Skillet w/ Over Easy Eggs and Toast were superb! The perfect blend of spices. The Frisco Skillet w/ Over Med Eggs and Pancakes was splendid! Apple Sausage, Spinach, Peppers...but I just had to add bacon and the whipped butter meant for the pancakes to make the Supremo Frisco Skillet. It will motivate you to swim a mile and take up olympic weightlifting. Love the ambiance, the cuisine, and fantastic service! Will be back just like before! Thanks, Nora! Woohoo!

Frisco skillet

Zero Stars! Service was good, but the food is trash! I ordered the chicken fried chicken and the breading was falling off the meat. It didn't have any seasoning and the Mashed potatoes were extremely stringy and tasted like instant potatoes from a box. They should Be ashamed charging these prices with low quality food. My husband ordered the Frisco skillet and it was horrible once again no seasoning.

Monte Cristo!

Happy Hour is Monday - Friday from 3-6 with a wide range of options ranging from the prime rib sliders, crispy cauliflower, garlic parmesan fries, chicken chile nachos, fired up shrimp, steak tacos and beef sliders. The happy hour drinks range from $5 to $7.95. You must try the Double Black Diamond Martini (fresh pineapple and New Amsterdam vodka). They have select glasses of wine for $6, $5 wells and $7.95 classic cocktails. Overall, this place is a solid 5/5!

Our waiter Ruben was probably the best server we've had in years. He knew the food and drinks inside and out, he anticipated our needs and magically showed up with refills before I even knew I needed one. He told us about things on the menu and the restaurant and the services they offer. He was a guide without ever being pushy, he was always there with whatever we needed but was never hovering. Nice kid! I rarely talk to the managers unless something is seriously wrong. In this case I called Tom over to compliment how great the place is. We told him it was our first time in and that the only reason we hadn't been in before was it looked a bit expensive. He did mention they just came up with pick-a-pair for lunch at $14.95. Normally this means skimpy half-portions of stuff but not here. I was in the mood for bacon so I went for the BLT Salad & BLT Sandwich. The dressing was made in house and wonderfully garlicky without being overpowering. The tomatoes were juicy and flavorful, the bread was grilled to perfection, and even the arugula was delicious (and I hate arugula/rocket). My wife got the club with fruit salad as her side. Ruben said they cut the fruit daily. My wife doesn't like strawberries nor pineapple so I got bonus fruit on my salad. She only at half because Firebirds has a crème brûlée cheesecake and we had to split that. While we were there, a nearby table was celebrating and a bunch of waitstaff came out with shakers and martini glasses and poured everyone drinks. Fun and classy at the same time. We joined the loyalty club. No having to check in nor track points, they just send you discounts and free stuff in your birthday. The Jr. Chef club members get a free TShirt, a sundae on your birthday, a kitchen grill tours-makes me wish I was 10. Diverse staff, all happy to be working there, all focused on making sure the customers are happy. I wish I had come sooner, this is my new favorite place!

Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. It's got that Texas feel to it, but cleaned up a bit. Comfortable, but still a little polished. The food was really solid across the board. You know how brunch can sometimes just be... fine? This wasn't that. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about it. Good seasoning, cooked right, and just enough creativity without overdoing it. It still felt like brunch, just done properly. Drinks were great too. Not over-the-top, just well-made and easy to enjoy. Definitely the kind of place where one turns into two without much convincing. Service was smooth--friendly, attentive, but relaxed. Nobody hovering, nobody rushing you out. Just a good flow to the whole meal. We ended up sitting there longer than we planned, just hanging out and enjoying it, which probably says the most. If you're in Frisco and want a brunch spot that actually feels worth going to, Haywire's a safe bet.
