We enjoyed our crispy and juicy birria with cheese with all of the amazingness of cilantro, onion, lime, raddish and dip which comes along with it. As soon as I walked in they greeted me with a smile and asked if I had any questions. They are very professional and polite. I order Tacos de Birria and a Quezabirria!! Wow!! Omg it's delicious, the best I've had. The tacos were very generous, lots of meat and they also included a side of Consomé, onion, cilantro, limes and cucumber on the side!! I learned the also have Birria de Chivo if you buy it by the LB. Great customer service and great food. As we were looking at the menu they gave us a sample of "chivo" and "res" birria. We grabbed 2 quesatacos de res and 1 taco suave de chivo. Came to Yelp for the reviews as we are just visiting Ventura County, and the reviews on this place were so good, we couldn't pass it up. Immediately when we get in there the front worker greeted us and was super friendly! He immediately asked if this was our first time there, I guess he could see just how perplexed we were, and of course we said yes! He turned around grabbed us samples of everything! Helped us quickly decide what we wanted! The samples were AMAZING! We couldn't wait for the actual meal! He was so friendly and energetic we LOVED IT! The place it's self is super cute and quaint. It's not overdone, super simple, we just loved it! We got our food really quick, everything was correct, and DELICIOUS! I wish I would have taken a photo for the review but we forgot! As we were leaving we got our to go boxes and went to walk out carrying a baby, the same worker who took our order, gave us samples, and delivered the food to the table, WENT OUT OF HIS WAY AND OPENED OUR DOOR FOR US! This is the place Oxnard has desperately needed! Birria has become very popular the last few years in the food truck world in oxnard and I have tried just about every food truck that has Birria around ventura county. there are some decent ones , but none that have the true authentic flavor , spices , consistency and style. To be honest , I travel to LA to get my birria fix. Birria Mi Rancho has delivered though! So let's get down to it. Service was excellent and very quick, prices are great , all the ingredients are fresh and high quality. I ordered Queso Tacos Birria de Rez and Agua de Jamaica. The meat was full of flavor , tender but not mushy and had zero fat. The cheese in the queso taco was REAL cheese and kept it's cheesy stress consistency till my last bites. The tortilla for the taco was cooked perfectly (semi dorado) and held the birria perfect all the way till the last bite. The tortilla didn't get soggy and start falling apart. The salsa roja was perfectly spicy and you only need a few drops per bite. one salsa was enough for 2 tacos. The consomé was perfection ! It definitely is on the spicy side but it is made perfectly and compliments the salsa for a blast of flavor and spice that will leave you wanting another bite.
