Date of visit: May 11, 2026 The signs from the freeway advertise this as a Clearance center but upon arrival, we didn't see anything that was an actual clearance price. The Birkenstocks were definitely regular price and the Hey Dudes were more than I normally see them at DSW, making this a pretty big waste of our time. Change your hours on Apple and Google Maps to reflect your actual business hours if you are randomly going to decide to close your store an hour early for an extended period of time. Maybe consider posting notice on the website as well? This is not hard to do. This location is an out-of-the-way drive for most customers, so to arrive to a closed up shop after an hour of sitting in traffic is incredibly frustrating. What a joke. I just recently moved to the area and was looking for a great place to buy a new pair of Birkenstocks since my last pair I wore to the ground for years! I have always loved the Birkenstock brand but a lot of places never had the wide width sandals so I would order online! BIRKENSTOCK NORTHWEST has the craziest largest selection of Birkenstocks I have seen in my life! Literally. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by a friendly face and offered help. I told her exactly what I was looking for and she immediately found them and measured my feet and then grabbed the sandals from the back and came out promptly and LITERALLY put the shoes on my feet herself! buckled them to fit and everything! I didn't lift a finger! while this was a first for me having someone put shoes on for me I was blown away and instantly knew I would be a repeat customer!!!!!!! What a dramatic change since last time we were here. The owner must have sold the business to his kids or strangers. The friendly 'customer is king' vibe is completely gone. I was so pleased when I made my first visit to Birkenstock Northwest recently! I drive by Birkenstock Northwest many times throughout the week and really wanted to stop by since I first spotted the KÜHL banner hanging on the side of their store. I've purchased KÜHL's quality clothing in the past and was interested to see more of their product line. My hopes were high for a good experience and, thankfully, I was not disappointed! When I arrived, I was kindly greeted and allowed the use of what is likely the cleanest porta-potty in the PNW! With that out of the way, I began shopping and visiting with longtime team member, Andy, and friendly store owner, Brian. Both showed me around the store and their fine selection of high quality wares, while also tending to other shoppers. Since I was particularly interested in the KÜHL line, I selected a super nice vest and a new cap. In addition, I purchased some Point 6 merino wool socks, suggested by Andy, which will be perfect to wear under my waders and boots during my fly fishing adventures! I also put a beautiful KÜHL jacket on layaway for my next visit. While chatting with Brian, we discovered that his wife and business partner, Pam, and I are from the same area of Northern Idaho. We had a friendly visit and shared a few stories together, which was really a nice surprise! In closing, I'd just like to give a big thank you to Brian, Pam, and Andy for being so great. I highly recommend their store to locals and visitors alike. It's a nice store with an interesting history, high quality products and the friendliest staff around. I went to the Birkenstock store in Ridge field Wa today for the first time. When you walk in , the store is tiny, but FULL of so many products!! It felt like a cute little chalet I was welcomed immediately with one of the warmest welcomes I've ever received!! I told my person what I was looking for and she took me directly to what I wanted....HEY DUDE SHOES.... She showed me exactly where my size was , so there was no unnecessary searching needed!! I found three pairs to try on, and I was assisted the whole way through this process... I have neuropathy in my feet and it is hard to put shoes in at times... I was never in need because my person helped me make sure my shoes were on correctly!! I loved 2 of the pairs I tried on ... my person took theses two pairs directly to the register and removed the unwanted pair so they were never left in the way of any other shoppers. I then looked at one pair of work shoes, it was the only pair left, but they were my exact size!! I snatched them up, took them to the register for assistance , my person was busy in the phone, she helped me, but then called another person from the back room. I was given the most EXCELLENT SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT ANY ESTABLISHMENT!!! All in all I spent $320 , walked out with three pairs of amazing shoes, and a smile on my face!!! It's incredibly frustrating when you want to support local business instead of purchasing online - only to be screwed over. I went into the Birkenstock Northwest store the day before I went out of town for 2 weeks. I'm 8 months pregnant and was told Birks are amazing for support so I wanted them for my travel. I wanted the hard sole but was told by one of their sales associates "Birkenstocks doesn't make the Granada with synthetic in anything but the soft sole". I was super bummed but what do you do? I hesitantly purchased the soft sole real leather Granada (about $50 more). It was a pretty expensive purchase I was hesitant to make but I was encouraged by the sales associate that I could totally wear them and bring them back if I didn't like them. I wore them from the store to my car, and from the car parked in my driveway to the house - that was it! (See photos) I actually did found the synthetic Granada with Hard Sole online because Birkenstock does make them, and purchased them to be delivered before I left town. I went in 2 weeks later (when I came back to town) to return the soft soles - and was told I couldn't return them because it was past the 7 days AND that the wear and tear was beyond their allowance and they couldn't "resell them". They offered me in store credit - sorry Charley, but I have ZERO intentions of EVER shopping here again. Really puts a bitter taste in my mouth and makes me appreciate Amazon and other online retailers and their customer service and commitment to their customers. Please train your staff to not A) lie to customers. If you're not sure if Birkenstocks makes something, please don't say they don't just to make a sale B) tell customers they can try them out and if they don't like them to bring them back - when clearly that's not the case. I am happy with my hard sole Granada's - just not from Birkenstock Northwest. Save yourself time and money and shop online! read more

I love that we have this store in such a convenient location! Sizing is key for getting the best support from Birkenstocks and the staff here were very helpful and knowledgeable about finding the best fit in different styles. They even had different weighted socks available in case you need to try the clogs or sandals on with them. The staff mentioned that if you're looking for a specific shoe/size, you can call and leave a voicemail and they check voicemail about 3 times a day and will get back to you about inventory. You can figure out sizing here and then order from Birkenstock online, although if they have the shoe you want in stock you'll likely want to buy it here and walk out wearing them confident you have the right fit. read more

Went here with the girlfriend and she came out with Birkenstocks. She also got some spray or something to put on it for weather crap. The place itself it tiny but impressive. These folks really know what they're doing and aren't afraid to size and touch people's feet. Very professional. I give it 4 stars only because you could actually find their stuff cheaper online but then again you don't get the personalized attention and fitting. I would recommend coming here if it's your first time getting birks or a different style or whatever so you can try it on. But if you're just replacing one already, probably just buy the same ones online. read more

This place is great. It happens to be super convenient to where we live so when we needed Birks, it was a no brainer, since the suggested retail is the same everywhere. The salesgirl was super knowledgeable about how to fit Birks and could answer any questions we had. She was a pleasure to deal with. My daughter just bought a pair at Journey's and they knew nothing and even sized her incorrectly. When you are investing in shoes that will last a long time, its important to be sized correctly, understand the care and maintenance and the differences in soles, materials, etc. The store also carries Keen, New Balance, Crocs, sandals, flip flops and other well made, high quality shoes as well as has a lot of clothing, socks, etc. I will go back next time we are in the market for these types of products. read more

I stopped in a few days ago looking for a pair of keen slip on esd shoe. Although they didn't have the specific style I was looking for, their selection is substantial, the customer service is stellar, and the shop is quaint and nicely laid out. They really pack it in there! I ended up coming back a few days later to buy a pair of walk around shoes that caught my eye. The sticker price of the shoes that I looked at is about $10 over what you can get them for on Amazon. Add tax and I paid about $18 more. $18 extra for me to support a local business that provides a very pleasant experience is a no brainer for me. I think I had the same clerk who helped Emma M. She was great. It's really worthwhile to have a pro help you fit these things. Not all sizes translate with them. I, too buy online when I can. Very very disappointed in their customer service, bought a of King boots they started coming apart and without a receipt even though obviously they were new they would not exchange them. I was also told that I "could not have purchased them in that time frame" I know when I bought the boots!!!
