This review is for the Drive Up Pick Up. I have to say that this was the easiest and fastest of all the pick ups that I have used (other than the pick up in Jantzen Beach). Seriously. All you have to do is go on the Target App and it will ask you to let them know when you are on your way, then when you arrive, you click that you are there. In less than 5 minutes, the Target employee was walking toward my car with my items. I was amazed at how fast the whole process went. I highly recommend using Targets Pick Up. It really is easy to use and they are FAST! read more

Not happy with clothes selection in any age group. Most of world is not gender neutral. Yes, some can be greens, yellow, but not such a large portion of store. Shoes are chintzy, cheap. This target is the closet one to my house, and I have been going there almost every week. I went last night and I couldn't believe their new anti-theft measures. All of the toiletries, laundry detergent, over the counter medicine, and tech stuff is now behind locked cabinets so you have to get an employee to unlock them. Even $2 shaving cream! I don't like having to ask an employee to unlock everything for me. The small group of people that steal this stuff shouldn't ruin it for everyone else. Target has plenty of money. I'm not sure if the other targets are like this, so I might have to drive a little further to a different one or just do online pickup from now on. Target used to have a really nice vibe, like I enjoyed getting a Starbucks and strolling through the aisles, but now it feels just as hostile as Walmart :( read more

I honestly didn't know that this location existed. I placed an on-line order for in-store pickup, and that process was easy, fast, and seamless. What particularly struck me about this location was the very attentive, friendly, and helpful employee stationed behind a plexiglass partition at the front entrance asking each shopper what she could help them with. She directed me to the pickup location and asked for me to have my confirmation e-mail ready to go for the person who would help me there. The person who picked my order for me was also extremely friendly and fast. All told, I was in and out in less than five minutes. I'm not a fan of target, I'd stay away from target completely but I do go there for my work when I get orders that require it. This target fared better than most because their employees were helpful, spoke Spanish, and they had actually bothered to keep their shelves stocked. This is easily my favorite Target in the Vancouver/north Portland area. It is always clean and well stocked, and the employees are always incredibly friendly. I am very impressed by their covid-19 precautions I have never seen an employee without a mask, there is also an employee greeting people outside offering masks to those who don't have one. Hand sanitizer is available at entrances, exits and all of the cashiers. Additionally, they have online pick up options where you can stay in your car (very convenient for a new mom). I have always had a good experience at this location and have found it to be much cleaner and more organized than the surrounding locations. read more

I called them and asked them to refund me the difference on the credit card that I used to purchase the item. They wouldn't do it. They had me call corporate headquarters. The national target representative gave me the runaround wouldn't refund it except for a gift certificate and they took all my info too. Fill name, email address, telephone number. What a waste. Really starting to lose my interest in shopping here, over a month and their still out of stock on my favorite deodorant. Keep having to find a substitute. Can't walk through the aisles, too many carts of merchandise to be stocked. It's the middle of the day- come on get some common sense. With all the carts of merchandise you would think you could keep your shelves stocked. Back up cashier not very friendly, she didn't turn her light on and the person behind me was unclear if sh was open or not and asked the question and the cashier said she wasn't supposed to be up here and is supposed to be on the floor, and that cashiering wasn't her job. This review is for the CVS PHARMACY inside Target. I have been going here for my prescriptions for years. Every person I have ever dealt with here has been kind, helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't know the answer to something, they find out. They are usually quick, of course they can't control everything, so if there is a line, they apologize for the wait with a friendly smile. Jo is amazing, she always remembers my name and is so friendly and positive even when they are slammed. They go above and beyond to help if they are able. read more

I have to write this review because it's too funny not to, and I have had multiple not great experiences here. For the record I don't like writing crap reviews unless they are earned, and well I prefer to remember the nice things and move on... but this one is a doozy! So after my frustration of the majority of the stock on the shelves being picked over and unorganized, not having the primary item I came for, I meandered to the checkout area. I had managed to get about 20 items in my cart which is above the mark I prefer to do self checkout, not to mention some of my items were large which is also not conducive to self-checkout... oh and I had alcohol so that is also a pain in the ars at self checkout. I look for the lights which indicate there are registers open, and there is one, with three carts in the line. And I looked at the self checkout and they were full, so I stood there, looked at my watch and it was 6:20pm...I thought seriously ONE F$!/king human at this time?! I composed myself, looked at the lady in command of the self-checkout and asked "Really only one manned register at this time?" LmAo and this is what she said, "No there are 2." And pointed at a lady with her "Lane Closed " sign up! And I said, "Uhm, so she is taking customers?" ???!? And the lady retorts, "No, she is going on break." Yep I was confused, maybe amazed at the stupidity, and said, "So, you mean there is ONE line open with a person." I walked away to the self checkout that opened because this was obviously not going to go anywhere. It gets better, she circled like a buzzard as I tried to get through all the big crap in my cart. Retrospectively I should have just let go of the cart and walked out. Mind you the whole time this comedy session is going on my brother is with me just chuckling along :D So we get checked out, several agonizing minutes later... and the lady says, "you forgot the baby clothes, hanging from the handle of the cart (for my niece)." I looked at her, "You know if I had been at a register with a human this would not have been an issue with all this big stuff." I really hope somebody cleptoed a tv that Sunday night... I am too much of a Good Samaritan. Anyway I am using this review as my meager ammunition. Target try not to suck and buy more human assets to help improve your business. I definitely left here seeking evil revenge today, due to you horrendous customer support, not to mention all the little other things like a messy store, under-stocked and empty shelves to fuel the fire. **The reason this gets 2 stars, I had a very sweet lady help me a few days ago at the register, yep a human-being. So I love target, it's always been on of my favorite places to shop but this location is. The. Worst. I usually wouldn't say anything but Jesus it was frustrating! I went in wanting to be really fast as I just needed to get some disposable dishes for a party that was in 2 hrs I walked around looking for over 5 mins then went towards the front to ask, the guy I asked pointed me to a corner of the store and then continued talking with his coworker I went the way he indicated but still couldn't see anything so I go back to ask him to take me to them and he says "I'm right in the middle of something it's that way" so I give up and leave. read more

A drop into this target as it's very handy to my home in Salmon Creek? I came to buy a Christmas gift for my grandson and a gift card for a grand-daughter. I've been in target stores before but not this one? It looks like a fairly new store and is very large with lots of parking available. The clerks were very busy on this day but somehow found the time to help me? I found the ear-phones type I was searching easy enough after being pointed in the right direction! However I quickly discovered they had a lock on them for which I needed to seek out help again ? All in all a positive experience. It's Target and it's a highlight in a part of town that is trying to revitalize (even if at the expense of some smaller retailers). The store, like all Targets, is bright, clean, wide aisles, has a nice Starbucks, good pharmacy, some groceries if you're in a pinch, and everything you need to keep you from driving to Jantzen Beach or Van Mall for the next Target. It also keeps people out of Walmart...which is nice for some. The checkout lines are usually fairly swift and the returns are conducted fairly painlessly. The one thing that they could improve here is to pay closer attention to the photo processing area. I've gone in many times to pick up photos and the people at the service desk right next to it take forever to get there or notice you. read more

The place is cleaner than the Vancouver Mall area location. That being said, I am always curious why there are so many staff members stocking the shelves and chatting about their personal life with other staff members, yet there are a ton of empty registers and a long wait to check out. The other thing that REALLY annoys me are the self-check out lines. Target will have one lane open with an actual person, a long line, and they will be directing people to use self-check out. If you have an issue with self-check out, you have to wait for the ONE person working at a register to stop working with another customer to come over and fix your machine. Crappy for the person at the self-check out, crappy for the person that is being checked out by the actual employee, and crappy for the employee. One thing that would really help is if they stopped pairing up their employees when they stock, because they are so busy using it as social hour that stocking takes forever. And put more people on the registers! It would also help if when I went in for one thing, there were little electric fences over everything else that would shock me so I wouldn't put additional things I "need" in my cart. Go in for one thing, come out with a cart full. Gets me every time! read more

I'm a regular at this Target, mainly because I live so close. The Starbucks employees are very well trained. The groceries are a bit expensive and I don't like that the snack area is so expensive. It also seems to be arranged differently than the other Targets, like its the same floor plan just switched which screws me up when I go to a different location. If you're a regular at Target I recommend getting the shopping bags and the debit card. You get 5 cents off everytime you don't use a bag and 5% off when you use a Target card. (Note: If you get a a target debit card, it takes a few days to go through to your bank account so be careful) read more

I went here a few times and it was okay. I had my worst experience the other day. I tried to use my coupons and the register only took off .28 cents instead of the full $1. The employee wasn't paying attention to the coupon value. I stood in line while she went to talk to another employee about how to fix the problem. She comes back and the other women employee mentioned me having 17 coupons. I only had 3. The women helping me had over exaggerated to the employee while she was asking her a question. Then thought it was funny so laughed. I thought that it was exteremly rude and unprofessional. Needless to say, I took my coupons and left. read more

It's Target. I personally enjoy going to Target and actually don't even shop at Walmart. The only problem I had with this one is the snack bar area (place where they sell popcorn and hotdogs) was manned by a rude little girl. I asked if they were selling hotdogs still because I didn't see any one at the hot dog rotisserie and she stated "yep I'm trying to close that's why you don't see much." It made my response of "Oh sorry I don't memorize the snakes opening hours." Worth it. All I can say about this one is: Manager - please work on your hiring practices. read more

I went to this location to register for my baby shower. As I was scanning I noticed that the battery was low but didn't really think much of it. Well as I was on the tail end of scanning the device died on me. I went back up to customer service to swap it out and they let me know that they were all being used. The associates were less than helpful when I asked them what I needed to do at that point and if my information would be saved. I had spoken to 3 different employees that were there and they had NO answers for me and I ended up walking away and going to a different Target. Well I found out at the other location that I can use my phone to scan with the app and that my information was saved. It would have been of nice if someone at the Hazel Dell location would've told me that so I didn't waste my time driving to another location when all I really needed to do was download the app, sign in and continue scanning. Maybe use this as a training tool for your customer service reps and while you're at it maybe hire some with better personalities that are willing to help customers and not just blow them off. read more

This is a decent Target store although the one on Jantzen Beach in much better. This one in Hazel Dell is not as big but still has a very nice collection and I can usually find what I am looking for. The only gripe I have is that the self check-outs always seem to be out of order and the lines at the cashier stations are usually long. read more

Went in on Thanksgiving late around 9:30 PM to holiday shop with my family. To my surprise there were t many people in there and we were able to find the things we wanted to come for. We went to get in to line as they had specific areas roped off to form a line. As we approached to go to a checkout line a worker from Target was talking with an old lady. We continued to walk past and my mother was in front. The worker from Target (Antonio) tried to get her attention to come back. She didn't hear and continue to walk as many lanes were open. My sister asked what the big deal was and he said you need to wait in this line until he says where we need to go. My sister suggested a sign would help to indicate that and he pointed to a balloon that said Mobile Cellular Plans Here. He continued to give us attitude as many lanes were open and he wouldn't tell us a lane to go to (my thoughts are Antonio was on a power trip). My sister then asked what lane? He finally told us after some time went by what lane to go to. Needless to say customer service was all used up when we arrived. Needless to say we won't be going back. read more

This Target never has anything in stock (and it take FOREVER for items to be back in stock), but if you go there in the middle of the day the aisles are blocked with boxes of items that need to be on the shelves! They leave carts full of boxes in the aisles and l've had to move boxes/carts/cardboard out of my way so I can grab something on the shelf! I live so close to this Target, but usually go across the bridge to the Target in Portland instead. Also, there is no Cafe here, just a Starbucks! read more
