Grocery items all seemed to be of questionable origin, freshness, and quality, and their prices didn't really seem to be any lower on most of them than what one would find at a conventional grocery store. I was amused by the "hardware" section. The tools were of laughably poor quality (far worse than Harbor Freight fare), and the prices were far too high for their (complete lack of) quality. Their apparel section has among the strangest fashions I've ever seen, and I suspect that none of them will actually ever sell. One curiosity, though, was a selection of rugs. If you're in Vancouver, and need a rug, this may be worth a visit.

Flexsteel would only increase the leg height of the ottoman (already legs higher than the loveseat) to remedy the situation even though it was an unacceptable solution. Beware when dealing with either company. They are not honest.

Let's just say, I never leave this store empty-handed due to their huge inventory and great prices. This giant thrift store is housed in a former Albertsons if that gives you an idea of scale. There are multiple departments, and row upon row upon row of treasures waiting to be discovered. Given Retails rotational discounts, visitors never really know what they're going to find here. New products are coming in daily, and different colored tags are discounted daily as well. The store has a robust jewelry section with glass cases filled with rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I've found so many wonderful items for both myself, and to give as gifts. Because the inventory is based on donated goods, there is always a wide variety of items available to purchase. The pet department is Retails best-kept secret. The store is managed by the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, so as you can imagine, there are tons of great buys for the pets in your life. I come here for cheap dog toys for my pug to tear apart, water and food bowls, pet carriers, etc. I've found some really incredible deals here. Retails has an extensive clothing department that takes up at least 40% of the overall footprint of the store. Clothing is clean, well-displayed and organized, and priced to sell. On one of the discount days I was able to leave the store with a dozen pairs of pants for my husband for less than $30! What a deal! Seriously, if you haven't shopped Retails, RUN! You're bound to find something you just can't live without in this eclectic thrift shop. Be advised, however, sometimes the checkout line can get a little long. It's a little out of the way for most people, but this little market has a lot going for it. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and Creekside boasts a truly impressive array of beverages (alcoholic or not) and snacks, deli foods, smoked meats, local honey, pickled garlic and veggies, and various other sundries and grab-and-go items. If you've never been, it's worth a visit, and if you have been, then you're likely a regular and an admirer.
