Pretty good selection of stuff. Make sure you check the dates. Some Produce is pretty sad but there's always something good.

Very dirty and unclean, unorganized as well. Okay pricing if you want moldy food. Canned food is okay tho.

I'm on a budget and go there to buy cheap cases of bottled water. I'm very careful about buying their produce.

I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't that horrible off-gassing smell at similar type places. However, they did have some kind of odd blinky holiday lights that made annoying noises throughout my visit. I toured each aisle and there wasn't anything to my liking but I can see where a new Asian restaurant could completing outfit their establishment with everything they need. It was nice to see they had real plants! I would consider returning for those or maybe some of their pots. Prices were okay, not great. According to many handmade signs, they take shoplifting seriously!

I wanted to see if there is a Kmart near the area so I did a Yelp search for Kmart, this Portland Closeout store popped up. After glancing at Yelp photos, the 20 % off Yelp check in caught my eye, and the funny t-shirts, the ones on their profile pic. I asked my personal Uber driver ( my other half) to take me. You will not miss this place, there is a huge business sign and parking is available on both sides of the lot. I don't know where to begin looking, the store is clutter but it is a good clutter. There are tons and tons of stuff. Its like a one stop shop, Things you need in Chinatown and the flea market combined together. I am pretty sure you will find something you don't need but actually need here. Just like my experience here. I had fun looking around, Lets see this shop is HUGE! There are sandals, shoes, clothing for mens, womens, children, tshirts, hats, make up, hair accessories, phone accessories, even blankets. If you can't find what you are looking for, ask the owner, she is super friendly. I recall her name is Long. I had fun talking to her and she helped me find what I was looking for. As I mentioned I found 2 items that I didn't need but needed. I saw 2 hats , I didn't think I needed it but bought it for my mom and good friend. ( they both love hats!) I came to shop not looking for hats and not needing it but then I am so glad I bought them because my mom and good friend loved the hats. I also bought those funny saying shirts to give away as souvenirs. They are pretty funny! I was able to use my 20 percent Yelp check in and I am so happy to discover a new place in Portland. I noticed the blankets are cheap, they are the really soft blankets which comes in different color, prints, and even comes with a bag. I remember those blankets, during my childhood days my mom used to buy that blanket for us and I remember they cost more than what Portland Closeout sells them for. I am going to buy a blanket next time I visit. After paying for my items, Long mentioned that her husband is at the store across. Note: Portland Closeout is in 2 separate shop. The store is in front where Long's husband manage has all household items for your kitchen, home and garden which includes furniture, plants, even paintings. This store does look clutter as well, but its a good clutter!! I noticed children's bicycles out in front. This store has EVERYTHING!! Overall, I love how I discovered this place and I enjoyed my shopping experience here. I will be back. If you just moved to Portland, Please check out Portland Closeout, I guarantee you will find products for your new place and you can thank me later!! #101/100/2017

The home section is just orderly and grouped together nicely. There is plenty of inventory and items to choose from. The girls working there are very friendly and often ask if you need help to find anything. One girl even noticed my hands were a bit full and went to get me a cart without me even asking. She just took the initiative. That's the vibe in there. They just see something is askew because welllll.... some people are just slobs or don't care and the girls would just quickly straighten something as they moved through the store. They would do just a quick lil something to make things nice again. I love it. I'm there to shop not to rummage through stuff. Also there's a lil area in the back corner (perfect spot) for just some clearance items, that is also neat and tidy. Not a bunch of ripped open boxes and packages with missing pieces or things that are broken. Just some things you may find that you like or that you need or not need but at that price you better buy it. Lol. That's me. But this store just shows there is a level of respect for their store manager and hopefully the company they work for. Treat workers with kindness and respect and they will take pride in what they do and do the job they were hired for and more. Just so you know, I have shopped at TJ Maxx for well over 30 years, all around this country and in some of the biggest cities we have. This one is very nice. Good job everyone. and thank you.

We buy food here too and have never had a problem. I love to look for exotic gourmet and ethnic goodies and have found some amazing bargains! Grocery items all seemed to be of questionable origin, freshness, and quality, and their prices didn't really seem to be any lower on most of them than what one would find at a conventional grocery store. I was amused by the "hardware" section. The tools were of laughably poor quality (far worse than Harbor Freight fare), and the prices were far too high for their (complete lack of) quality. Their apparel section has among the strangest fashions I've ever seen, and I suspect that none of them will actually ever sell. One curiosity, though, was a selection of rugs. If you're in Vancouver, and need a rug, this may be worth a visit.

They just had cashiers with an extrmely long line. It took about 15 mins waiting in line to check out. Certian sections are well orgnized and others are not. It looks a bit dingy and messy in parts of the store. They allow dogs so that is nice and their sales benefit the Humane society which is awesome! We brought our pup. I found a few great nicknacks and a great little bench seat with an embroidered top for $7.99. Needs to be refinished. Really good prices on many things. There were not enough people working and they were kind of unproffesional and unhelpful. They seemed extremely stressed. I wanted to see things in a locked in a case on the floor. I politely asked the clerk about it and she said it will be like a half hour and never looked up at us at all or when checking us out or said anything pleasant or nice. Something for them to work on. Some customers also seem clueless about just standing in the way of others from looking at things and chit chatting for 5 - 10 minutes. It is not a coffee shop people.
