Costco was the first to jack prices up on gasoline when the higher priced barrel has not even hit the market! Now that the cost of a barrel of oil has cratered, they raised their prices again! I am an instacart shopper. I came here to shop an order for a customer. The store was very busy and finding a parking spot was frustrating! I arrived inside and it took a while to get everything the customer ordered because of the amount of people in the store. Isles where blocked everywhere with people stopping for free samples that where being given out at the end of what seemed like every isle. Why would people pay a lot for a yearly membership just to drive around forever in a parking lot looking for somewhere to park, then be heard like cattle in and around a store. Stand in long check out lines, then stand in another long line to leave the store and have the store employee check your basket and mark your receipt just to be sure you don't steal something. I'm not a big fan of Costco, and the prices are not really cheaper here than what other stores are. They just sell items in larger quantities but also with a larger price. but will continue to come here while doing Instacart because it's my job and I get paid to come here. Pros: they have a great deal for 1.50 hot dog and soda. Cons: parking lot traffic jams, line to get in, Lines down every isle. Lines trying to check out, Lines to get out the door, and Lines of cars to even get out of the parking lot. Did I mention they have Lines? LOL. This place is very frustrating! read more

I just want to express my frustration about the dryer I ordered and the installers. The price for the dryer was reasonable. Was supposed to deliver, install, and haul away the prev one. And they initially said Friday, then after I ordered and paid. Changed it to Saturday. Which was frustrating as I needed it a week ago! I preferred it like on Monday or Tuesday. For reference. Then they gave me a window between 3-5 the night before.... Then they update you as they are arriving.... They started at 4 saying they would be there then. Then 4:15 then 4:30 then pretty soon it was basically 5 by the time they got there which was annoying because I have a big dog and need to make sure she isn't home as we have a small place. So it was quite frustrating. Then get here with a vet heavy language barrier so it was hard to understand them. And they refused to install it. Claiming something about liability and fire hazard. We've never had that issue before with prev installers and we were able to install it just fine with everything provided there and it's working great. But. Because it was 5 on a Saturday they wanted to get home and not finish the job they came to do. If they would have brought it Friday or earlier in the day like I wanted they wouldn't be there late on a Saturday, so that's not my fault. Needless to say. Not happy with the service. The dryer is great though! But last thing we wanted to do was install a dryer 6pm on a Saturday night as we already had to be tethered at home till they decided to saunter in. read more

Darius at the AT&T kiosk is such a GEM. He was running the place, multi tasking with training the two new hires and helping them w/ their customers and helping me all at once. GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!! Quality/Quantity - Buying gas here versus NOT buying gas at Costco Eureka has such a big difference. $4.139 here today (4/28/22) versus $5.87 cash price at Texaco Eureka... That is what we call a 50% savings!!; too bad I had to drive past the state border to get this price, LOL. Plus, in Oregon, I do not have to pump my own gas! 5/1/22 price went up to $4.219 Wow, record local beers. I spent so much time in the beer section that I did not have time to check out the local wines. Have to support the locals. Still took a minute to walk through the changing seasons clothing section to look for discounts, too bad the discounts were only for women's clothing. Atmosphere - Consistent. Front entrance under construction, but that is okay because the gas station was open, see previous Costco Eureka Yelp. Summer shopping has arrived, look at my pictures for water sports. Service - Consistent, we checked out at self service, so there was a great cashier, LOL. Price - I think $10+ for each four pack, but honestly I do not look at the prices here. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. How have I never reviewed this location? I hope I've just reviewed other locations, and THAT'S why I forgot this location. Anyways, where do I begin? Location? Sure. If you're looking for different stuff than they offer, it's right next to other restaurants, gas, and I even believe average shopping? Always more convenient than when a location is a bit more out of the way. Service? Incredible! But that's across the board for Costco. All employees in any department are excellent, and seem to really care about their jobs. I guess we can get more broad. Prices and selection are great as always, the layout of the store REALLY appeals to me, and the free samples are a staple. I tried to avoid them on this recent visit, but the mixed nuts got my Mom and then she pointed it out to me as well. Speaking of "specific to this visit" information. My parents bought like, nearly 200 candy bars. Had to return them because they came too late. While my Dad was handling that with an employee, let's just say there was a bit of a mess with a gel substance. These workers took it in stride, they didn't get upset or shut down. They actually laughed it off, and continued to be of assistance. GREAT job! Overall, this should be as satisfactory as your preferred Costco location. They will carry the typical stock at the typically great prices, with a great "food court" and gas station to boot. I also noticed it's been a while since I last came, and they now have: self-checkout and a mobile order kiosk for the food. It SERIOUSLY speeds up the process. (Not that it was ever slow.) Customer service has gone downhill in the last couple months. Patty was at the self checkout today and wasn't directing traffic, didn't scan the heavy things in my cart (just watched me struggle to try and scan it myself, and then told me I couldn't use a check at self checkout when I tried to use my rebate from last year. I told her it's not a check, it's my rebate. She replied it was a check and I couldn't use it at self checkout. I told her it would probably be a good idea to let people know that on the rebate so I don't scan all my purchases through self checkout just to be told I can't use my payment method. She pointed to the sign that said "electronic payments only" and told me that was my warning. I wasn't aware my rebate with a barcode that can be scanned wasn't an electronic method. Maybe put her in the back in the future, she doesn't do well with customers. read more

We went in today to buy furniture. The guy checking us out was super rude. I first said to him can you please make sure the item was marked down correctly, he said, "I don't know". I said the tag is on the box, will you please verify. He said, I fixed it. They then proceed to check us out and for some reason kept counting the items, 3 Costco employees counted the items 5 times. Not sure why, but they still missed that I was double charged for a bed I purchased. Not a good experience at all, customer service needs improvement. read more

I've been to this location at least a hundred times, and I'm surprised that I've never written a review! Costco in general is FANTASTIC!!! They have the absolute highest-quality meats and cheeses, and I've NEVER found a Kirkland (Costco's store brand) item that didn't like better than the brand-name competitors. This location appears to be a bit smaller than others, but they don't seem to have any smaller of a selection. It seems to be kept cleaner than others, and appears to be more brightly-lit. It also offers a pharmacy, gas station, tire center, and food court with self-pay ordering kiosks, which makes for a fast and efficient ordering and delivery system. You also see the same employees here year after year, quite a testament to how Costco treats its employees. I'm particularly impressed with the tire center. When I had my tires rotated there, the technician specifically advised me that the front left wheel assembly "wobbled" a bit when he had it up in the air, and strongly recommend that I get it checked out right away by a mechanic I really trust. I had my dealership check it out, and it turned out to be a completely worn wheel hub, which is a very dangerous failure (this is despite there being zero symptoms of anything being wrong with it from a noise or driveability standpoint). Were it not for the Costco Tire Technician noticing this, I could have had a catastrophic failure. You really can't go wrong with this Costco location. read more

While I love Costco in general I have to say they need to clean up their suppliers and stop overcharging. The last few beef purchases at the 84th location in Vancouver have been nothing short of garbage. I bought a $60 4lb prime rib to serve to my family cooked it perfectly to directions; it should've melted in our mouths It was completely tough and inedible. I have had a Costco membership for about 20 years now...not sure why it's taken so long to write a review ;-) I love their app so I can go through their coupon items each month ahead of time and make a shopping list, also available on the app. The quality and prices of most items can't be beat! I am a household of two, so some of the bulk items don't make sense for me to buy. As other reviewers have stated, it can get awfully busy on the weekends, which I purposely avoid. I usually visit midweek right when they open. There is usually a line at opening, and often times they open their doors about 10-15 minutes early. I have always had great customer service here, whether it's a cashier, floor staff, photo center, returns counter or concessions. No complaints. Overall, I will continue to shop at Costco for their monthly deals and definitely for Christmas gifts :-D read more

Instacart. This service is a big scam. Do not use it!! We received an offer to get $30 back on our first order from Costco. We ordered. Good deal 30% off. There were 2-3 texts from the driver about problems with order. We called instacart to wonder why we never received the $30 off. It was a Sunday, and they said there was a computer glitch, and we had to call back during the week to get a discount. I called back, and after 1 1/2 hour on the phone , I received nothing. It's very frustrating. Rose the supervisor, was no help. Call center in India, which did not help understanding. DO NOT USE. Thanks for letting me vent my frustrations. read more

Upon check out, I spent 250$. There were two staff members loading up my groceries. They asked if i could help load up my groceries. If I am a customer and member, and there are two paid employees there to load up groceries, they should be grateful and do their jobs. While I generally appreciate Costco's products, the 192nd store's pharmacy department is not managed well. I waited four days to hear from them about a prescription that was badly needed. I finally called, only to be told that the drug was out of stock and would "probably" arrive almost a week after the script was sent in. Why didn't they alert me? (Hint: staff are overwhelmed, stressed, and doing their best in a department that is really inadequate for the community's needs.) My doctor kindly sent the prescription to another pharmacy down the street, and within less than a day---a Sunday at that--- the new pharmacy contacted me to inform me that they were out of stock as well. So I'm sticking with the pharmacy NOT associated with Costco, as they quickly alerted me and were able to tell me the earliest I could expect to pick it up, at the same low price. What can you say about Costco? This is a great store. Everything is fresh and good quality. Of course, everything is in big quantity too but not much you can do about that. I wouldn't say prices are cheap. Some items are much cheaper than other places but others not so much. However, I don't think they are but that's not really what you go there for. You know you're going to get good stuff for a decent price. Some of the food items need to be separated and frozen as there's too much for one family. On a weekend you can almost graze yourself through the store with all the free samples. We do love this store even though lines are long. If you want a good buy on gas or diesel, this is the place to stop too. We do like the store but not so sure we actually save any money after buying our membership. read more

I love this Costco. Everyone who works here so helpful if there is something that you need they usually always have a selection of toilet paper and paper towels which as you probably know are kind of hard to come by now even at Costco. I love how quickly they were able to Institute The Mask policy and hold people to that. You had a lot of these people running around not wearing a mask. Who cares if they work or not at least try and wear it who gives a s*** The other good thing about this place is that there is a fuel station outside which will give you great quality gas for a reasonable price. It's usually 15 to 20 cents cheaper than the gas station across the street. I highly recommend this gas station and this Costco if you are in the area. read more

I am more saddened by the negative experience more than anything. I've been a member for years as well as my entire family. Never had a bad experience. I had ordered a pizza. Was told it would be a 40 min wait. Understandable. After 45 mins I asked if it was ready. The young man asked me to go around the corner and check with the people in red vests because he wanted to make sure I was the one who bought the pizza. The supervisor gave the OK to him. She had previously helped at the self checkout and was very professional. The young man then said sorry about that and had us wait for over an hour after that. We asked two more times and another gentleman handed us our cold pizza that had been sitting there. We couldn't even enjoy our pizza after that. Also our food we bought from there that we put in the car while we waited for our pizza that needed to be refrigerated was ruined. It was 90 degrees out. What a horrible experience. read more

Costco is a warehouse distributor, that being said, people who expect valet service should shop elsewhere. Good prices, generally and lots of product. This costco is always very busy, good business for them, they have started asking for your costco card before you use the self checkout, understandable, people often cheat the system by sharing cards. If costco got rid of the self checkout they could have more checkouts open and no cheating, There are routinely 4-6 people overseeing self checkout, with 10-12 self checkout stands, a pro could easily do twice the items a regular person can do therefore negating the efficiency that self checkout is supposed to offer. Recently costco offered a beef sandwich for 10$ it was an abomination, slapped together and substandard ingredients, stick with the hotdog or pizza! read more

I rarely get suckered in to coming with the wife for fear of loosing another 2 hours of my life following her around as she goes up and down the isles looking at every bargain. They offer so much, my wife drops a minimum $100 EVERY time she walks in! Holding back my tears as she waits 13 minutes in every GD line for a taste test. Once we finally get to check out the lines are that of Black Friday ....... I almost go into a full blown melt down as i see 6 lanes that could be opened to speed things up. I am so angry right now that Costco decided after so many years that they would insult their members that have been there for so long with a proof of verification after I've already paid for my membership and have been identified at the beginning of my visit to even enter. How do you really want your customers to feel Costco when you do things like this!? is this how you're going to treat your customers that have been in long-standing with you for so many years! I think if you don't know what this place is, well I'll tell ya. Great prices on bulk items and you'll need a membership to get in! They have some killer travel deals too. Costco even has their own gas that only members can use. This place is dangerous, you come in for a few things and leave spending a few hundred bucks.. almost as bad as target.
