There is also an entire separate building for outdoor furniture. If you need interior our outdoor design services, you can absolutely get that done here as well. The selection here is HUGE, and all of the items are extremely high-end. Prices are high, but the quality matches. The employees are supremely helpful, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. There is also a huge private parking lot with many parking spaces. Customers can purchase any items directly from the showroom floor, or can have items ordered. In addition to the huge on-site selection, they have an enormous catalog of anything one could possibly need. Many furniture items can be customized with a huge variety of fabrics or layouts. I'm looking forward to coming back to purchase a beautiful teak bench that will go perfectly with my outdoor fire table.

After about 5 minutes, I asked for some help from people standing nearby who had looked at me several times at the desk (they had looked straight at me prior). I said I wanted to purchase a bed and was asked how much I wanted to spend. My response was I would buy what I liked, it didn't matter the cost. The woman said that there was 'quite a range' to which my reply was 'I can handle it.' It was obvious she didn't think I could because I was dressed in my 'day off clothes.' I left. Will not ever return. Really sad that they treat people so poorly. I don't believe I should have to dress up to shop. I dress up at work.

Entering a beautiful furniture store where salespeople ignore customers creates a strange…read moreatmosphere. Here's how it felt to me: - Luxurious Setting: The store is elegantly designed with carefully curated furniture pieces. Soft lighting highlights the fine details of beautifully crafted tables, plush sofas, and intricate decor. - Aesthetic Appeal: The ambiance is inviting and serene, with well-thought-out displays that make you imagine how the furniture would look in your home. - Indifferent Staff: Salespeople are present, but they seem preoccupied. They were quietly chatting among themselves, paying little attention to customers. The contrast of Beautiful vs. Unwelcoming was striking. The juxtaposition of the store's luxurious, inviting decor with the indifferent, almost cold demeanor of the staff creates an unsettling contrast. Weird vibe here. I left without making a purchase. I do want to point out that the City Home store on 1101 SE 3rd Ave. inPortland doesn't share this vibe. I'll just go there next time.

Let's be honest: you either love these types of stores or you don't. You can go weekly and the…read moreinventory is very different. It's never the same twice. I personally love these types of stores. I never know what I will find, and that's half the fun of it all. This particular Homegoods store is large, well laid-out and very neat. (In some stores you can find stuff strewn all over the place, or items placed in incorrect sections by customers, or worse, on the floor. Here, there's none of that). It's well lit, too, and the aisles aren't too narrow (an issue I've encountered in other stores). While visiting here I asked to use the washroom in the back of the store. (Unlike other stores, unfortunately here the bathroom door is locked, and an employee needs to unlock it for you). Not the best system, but hey, I guess they need to monitor this due to shoplifting or people using drugs or something, I'm not sure. Anyhow, thank goodness I found an employee nearby and she was SO nice. Super friendly. That kinda made up for the hassle of having to find someone to unlock the door. They had the usual home decor and kitchen and bathroom accessories and gadgets here, but there was more furniture than I've seen in other Homegoods stores, and I also saw a few doggie strollers - and they were super nice! (Where were these when I was looking for one for my senior dog??? So good to see them here). They also had a fabulous section of greeting cards at the front - WAY more than I've ever seen in a home goods store. Nice! In general, they had a bigger and better selection of most everything. I was really impressed. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars and not 5 is because we had a crazy long wait at the cash to be rung out. There was only one cashier and, for the life of me and the other people waiting in line, she never called out for assistance. The other ladies in line and myself were surprised, as usually they call for back-up cashiers when the line gets long. I was really tempted to leave my cart after 10 minutes of waiting (it took 17 minutes before we could ring out! Such a long wait). Not great. But other than this issue at check-out, I was really impressed with the store.
