Finally, I made it into this location! I was super excited when I saw they were opening one in Vancouver, but I hadn't had the chance to check it out until now. It definitely doesn't disappoint! There are tons of items marked 50% off this Memorial Day weekend! They have anything and everything you can imagine in this store...puzzles, crafts, home decor, pet toys, yard art, frames, jars, books, paint (all kinds), games (indoor and outdoor), holiday decorations, cards and paper stock, beads, bird feeders, hummingbird feeders, signs, paintings, tapestries, wind chimes, small appliances, door mats, and so much more! Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores for home decor. They have a wide selection for every room throughout the house and they always have really good sales. They even have a section for weddings. The customer service is always great and everyone is always so friendly. The store has always been very clean and organized every time I've shopped there. Most of their items are good quality and a lot of it is definitely worth the money. Everything in the store is so cute. read more

Check out is a disaster. I buy a few paint items. Went in today about10am on January 2, 2025 and 10 deep at every register except 1 where possibly a manager was working with a much shorter line, mybe mostly on returns, who knows. Was told very rudely that I could not check out in that line (and would have to go another line). Easy 15 minute wait as they use a very old fashioned checkout routine, no self checkout or express line. So just set down my items and left. not going back. read more

Horrible managing, terrible customer service skills, and no control over the employee base. Hobby lobby is a great store to shop for amazing deals but the Vancouver location is nothing but pure terror. I recommend saving yourself the agony, pain and sass and simply go to Beaverton, Oregon City, Clackamas location. You can tell each of the employees are there for the paycheck and paycheck only. Having zero to almost no acknowledgement about any of the crafts there and having to rely on either looking up on the phone or simply telling you that they don't know anything. Hobby lobby is a fine Christian business but that location is everything but that. I suggest avoiding Darren the store manager at all costs for she only cares about the bottom dollar at this location and nothing more. read more

This is a brand spanking new hobby lobby located in the Vancouver mall near H&M. They are open everyday except for Sundays. They opened in September and have consistently had a line outside the door. On a Monday I decided to take a ride down there for some items. I got there around 10:45 am. There was no line, but there was a lady standing inside the doorway noting the amount of people entering on her iPad. When I got there I realized how massive this store was and was immediately overwhelmed looking for the items that I needed. I decided to flag down a worker to ask for help. She willingly helped me even though she didn't quite know where it was. She even asked a few other workers if they knew where it was. Finally she found it for me. I was a little shame, but I decided to ask for a couple other items on my list because there was no way I would've found it on my own! They were more than willing to help me even if I may have been interrupting their stock re-shelving time. They really do have outstanding customer service here and they are not afraid to ask for help just to find your item for you! I honestly can't wait to visit when I have more time on my hands to actually browse through what items they do have. Be sure to reserve an hour or two to make your way through this store! I live within walking distance of this Hobby Lobby, and shop here several times a week. I usually have my 5 year old grandson with me. Last week while I was shopping, I noticed many people who were not wearing a mask, including a couple who were checking out with a cashier. Washington currently has a mask mandate which makes it illegal to be in a store without a mask. My grandson is too young to be vaccinated, and I care deeply about his health and well-being. So I spoke to a manager, who told me that there's "nothing we can do" to make customers wear masks. I pointed out that they could refuse to sell to folks without a mask. She just looked away and shrugged. She told me I could speak to the store manager, and added, "His policy is to serve them." I told her that his policy is illegal, and she shrugged again. I did speak to that manager later by phone, and he was borderline rude while telling me that he would not change the policy. HL makes a big deal about their Christian values. They play religious music constantly in their store, and they're closed on Sundays. Yet they are choosing to serve people in a way that breaks the law. They have absolutely no concern for my health and safety, and that of my grandchild. I don't know if this is a political stance they're taking. If so, it's sad that they are willing to break the law. I do know that they lost a frequent customer. If they care so little about my family's safety, I will not be going back. BTW, one of my kids is a store manager for a very large national chain store, and she's appalled by this situation. I told her that the Hobby Lobby manager told me that there's nothing he could do to make people wear masks, and she snorted. At her store, people without masks are not served. Awesome to find Hobby Lobby in Vancouver. There is a bowling alley above it so in some parts of the store you can hear the balls and pins above. Awesome selection of crafts, kitchenware, decor and toys. Excellent for sale price wrapping paper after Christmas. read more

As a bookstore owner, I regularly sell artwork and prints. I really like to be able to get them framed, and the ladies at Hobby Lobby in the frame center really know their stuff. They are REALLY good at what they do, and they keep me coming back over and over again. You may not have commercial frame work done, but they are just as good at doing personal frame jobs. I know because I have a beautiful portrait of my patron saint up in my office at work, and the frame they did is truly wonderful. I will always go to Hobby Lobby. read more

Right now I'm in a line with 25+ people waiting to purchase my items. They only had two cashiers going when they have four Registers. Pretty freaking sweet place! I went here multiple times during the winter to find sports vintage products and would estimate about $200 every other week i spent supporting this store. As of today, I was approached by two employees and claimed they had been watching me on the camera take 2 shirts off of pick and stitch style clothing rack for patches and what not. Not designer clothing by any means... I proceeded to try a short sleeve, and a long sleeve on, one XL and one XXL... Now, I worked at Nike for 5+ years and have always been able to try on product before purchasing in a fitting room. However this wasn't an option so I did it in an isle just like majority of people do at major retail stores to make sure they fit in what they are purchasing. My one mistake was accidentally ripping off one of the tags on the long sleeve when i was trying it on so when they approached me in the isle they accused hme of trying to leave the store cutting off the tag for theft they then mentioned that I had stuffed all kinds of items in my pocket, in reality it was a thick 6 ft charging cord I didn't have hands to work with and hold onto while trying things on. Before they approached me I was looking at baseball card binders because I'm a avid seller and collector and like to see see what binders fit what card sheets best (sticky, to thin/ thick) if you collect you know what I mean. Quantity is key. So they quickly speed walk up to me and tell me to put the binder down and do not touch the binder sleeves... all I did was take the sleeves and place them in the three ring binder to make sure they would fit and be there right size, and never tried to hide the binder at all . I was honestly shocked they they thought I wasn't going to pay for the items I had, 2 shirts under $10 each, a cheap $7 binder, and 100 sheets for the binder for like $6. I'm sorry but did I try to walk out of the store ? Absolutely not, instead I was approached by 2 very egotistical inexperienced retail employees, one being a shift lead. The lady insisted I hand over the binder, the shirts, and empty my pockets that had "all kinds of things in them " I pulled out my wallet and the charging cord and told her I am purchasing these...and she tells me I'm being kicked out and not allowed back to there store. I'm sorry but being accused of stealing when I'm not a fucking thief pisses me the fuck off. I said "take the items up to the front or find me a cart because i still plan on purchasing the items I had in my possession and been trying on. It's one thing for me to have tried to walk out the store with all of that stuff, but I have a problem with the way they treated me as a long time customer and also there attitude and automatic assumption that i was stealing. As soon as they approached me I admitted to it and said I'm paying for this stuff! But the douchey bald red head prick told me he watched me rip of tags on the shirts. No shit! The one on accident~ and the other one didn't have a tag, I told him i would prove it to him too, but he was large and In charge trying to make me look like a lying thief. Anyways I'm rambling. It's a cool store. But next time don't accuse someone of stealing shit when they haven't even had the chance to walk up to the register! I even said I plan on ping for all of this, and the lady was a bitch so I said fuck you and go put it back on the shelf. read more

Very impressed with the yarn selection. High quality, modern colors and blends. More than just acrylic and dish cotton. There was linen-Cotten, acrylic-wool, silk blend, alpaca blend, anything you could need. Excited to put some new finds to work and see the finished product. Not the place to go for cheap Pound of Love acrylic. Excited to see if they'll run sales on the yarn- there weren't any going when I was there. read more

They overcharge you and then they make you stand in line to correct their mistake. Manager brushed me off by stating if she helped me before the rest of the line it would 'piss people off'. (Such unprofessional language!?) Didn't seem to matter that I was mere seconds within the transaction where the checker made three errors. So frustrating. Fortunately the checker in the 'refunds' line was very courteous and let me tell her I was angry. The original checker needs some retraining. read more
