Despite the name, Creative Interiors & Design is also a full furniture store for every room in your house. The main showroom has indoor furniture for every room in the house. There is also an entire separate building for outdoor furniture. If you need interior our outdoor design services, you can absolutely get that done here as well. The selection here is HUGE, and all of the items are extremely high-end. Prices are high, but the quality matches. The employees are supremely helpful, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. There is also a huge private parking lot with many parking spaces. Customers can purchase any items directly from the showroom floor, or can have items ordered. In addition to the huge on-site selection, they have an enormous catalog of anything one could possibly need. Many furniture items can be customized with a huge variety of fabrics or layouts. I entered the store and was not approached by anyone. I believe it is because I was not 'dressed' successfully, meaning I was not dressed Nordstrom. After about 5 minutes, I asked for some help from people standing nearby who had looked at me several times at the desk (they had looked straight at me prior). I said I wanted to purchase a bed and was asked how much I wanted to spend. My response was I would buy what I liked, it didn't matter the cost. The woman said that there was 'quite a range' to which my reply was 'I can handle it.' It was obvious she didn't think I could because I was dressed in my 'day off clothes.' I left. Will not ever return. Really sad that they treat people so poorly. I don't believe I should have to dress up to shop. I dress up at work. read more

I had an appointment, and identified myself at the desk. I was told the owner was finishing up soon with another new client. Over the course of an hour I was told every fifteen minutes she would be done soon. I couldn't help but notice that white couples got everyone's time and attention. I was patient because I understand how much time it takes to discuss design concerns, I had cleared my afternoon anyway, and the expectation was created and repeatedly reinforced by their staff that I would have my consult today. After over an hour the owners' husband walks up to me and asks if I am Meghan. He said he and his wife had an appointment any minute now with a Meghan. That's when I knew there was no possibility for a consult today. Then he checked at the desk and in less than a minute told me I had the wrong day, it was my mistake, then said it was just a calendar mistake and flippantly asked repeatedly if I had ever made a mistake. Then, as some form of consolation as a grand gesture he offered to look at my floor plans. I told him it would take more than a minute to cover what needed to be discussed and as soon as Meghan arrived I would be quickly dismissed a second time, so for those reasons I declined his offer. I wasn't interested in an empty gesture or being patronized, I had been looking for serious design solutions for an entire custom home. He offered to waive a home visit fee, but by this time I wasn't convinced I wanted to work with them. I'm new to the area so came right out and asked if this is how they treated brown women. He began to act highly offended, saying this is the first time he was ever accused of this and kept interrupting and talking over me. I had to repeatedly ask him to allow me to speak and to please allow me to complete a sentence. Whether the calendar mistake was theirs or mine, it should have been verified the moment I identified myself at the desk, not over an hour later. The lack of regard was the deal breaker, my question regarding discrimination was a fair one. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Ryan and his staff. They were very accommodating in helping us find the perfect chairs to match our dining room table. From the use of their sample books, exploring options online, advice on fabric durability, colors and in person consultation we found just what we were looking for. We appreciated their design aesthetic, value for the chairs purchased and the care provided throughout the process. We needed all new furniture as we had just remodeled a condo - downsizing to half the living space. Our sister-in-law had recently toured the Clark County Parade of Homes and noted that all the scenes she liked had been created by Creative Interiors & Design. Taking her advice, we visited their showroom and connected with Audrey. Best Decision Ever! She had us tour the showroom quizzing us to establish our preferences. She then came to our home, took pictures, measured, took into account the lighting, views and setting, and proceeded to create a sample setting at the showroom for us to see. While there we picked out specific pieces and the ones not on the floor were ordered. She managed delivery and setup just before Thanksgiving. The setup crew was awesome! They set the rugs and furnishings and even hung our pictures under Audrey's direction. They easily surpassed our expectations! A focal point will be the addition of some artwork Audrey helped us find! We can't compliment her enough for her sense of style and what fit the area best. This review has more to do with the owner then the store. Heidi was in charge of designing some of the 2017 Parade of Homes. To get to these homes you must drive through an existing neighborhood, which has children, pets and adults that play and walk throughout the area. The posted speed limit is 15 miles per hour on this private drive. In late August we were in our front yard and a car ran a stop sign and was doing over 40 mph through the neighborhood. We got in our car to follow this car down to the parade of homes. When we arrived Heidi was walking away from her car. We confronted her and asked her to please not speed in the neighborhood. She proceeded to tell us that she was late for an appointment and had to get there as fast as possible. We asked what would have happened if she would have hit a kid or another car. Her response was that it would be best to leave our kids inside for the next month while they were finishing up the parade of homes houses. We paid good money to live in this neighborhood and have every right to be outside and do not deserve to have cars speeding through our neighborhood and disrespecting our community and neighbors. Relieved to report the owner agreed that the furniture's finish was not as described or looked like on the manufacturer's website, and plans to order me a new piece at no extra charge. He plans to deliver the new piece at no charge and has graciously allowed me to keep this one, until the new one arrives :) He apologized the piece was not up to the standards his company is known for. He noted the damage done to the shelving occurred after it left his warehouse which made no sense; I waited 3 months for this piece.... what secondary gain would there be for my husband and I to not treat it with gentleness and care? In the end it didn't matter b/c the owner agreed the overall finish was poorly executed, and a new piece will be delivered to me in 4-6 weeks. Thankful the item is no longer on back order. Phew... Changing my rating to 3.5 given rapid response to my concern, staying true to the quality of their product, and concern to not inconvenience me any further. read more

Creative Interiors and Design is definitely a five-star rating! In particular, Tammie Dorszynski. About two years ago - instead of going to Creative Interiors and Design, which was recommended - I went to a very high priced furniture store in Lake Oswego, spent over $30,000 in furniture and it was a disaster - to say the least. I came to Creative Interiors with my mother-in-law who was using Tammie to create an unbelievably beautiful and inviting space in her own family room and entryway. I asked Tammie to somehow fix what this furniture store (and so-called designers) had done to my home. And thank goodness she did. Not only did she take into consideration the pieces I had already purchased she rearranged my whole downstairs area to include the dining room, living room, entryway and portions of the upstairs bonus room. Tammie created a beautiful living space incorporating some of the pieces that I had already purchased along with new pieces that were available at the store. The result is relaxed elegance: I come into my home now and I absolutely love it thanks to Tammie. Tammie has such a flare for picking out pieces that go together in a particular space - both in color and design. I've seen her work her magic twice in both my mother-in-law's home as well as my own. We recently purchased bedroom, living room and dining room furniture. We worked with Tracey. She came out to our home, took pictures, measurements and did a personal interview on our likes and needs. We went in for the follow up appointment a week later. Her presentation was fantastic. She had really listened to everything we had mentioned and came up with a plan that totally reflected what we were looking for. Easily, Tracey is one of the best designers that we have worked with over the years. The delivery crew was super polite, careful, professional and exhibited great attention to every detail. We recently purchased a set of king hickory sofa from Creative Interiors and Design, because their pricing (for the same sofa) was better than a Portland store. Before going to the store I inquired about the pricing of multiple items via email and Ryan (the owner) patiently answered all of my back to back emails, and all in a timely manner. When we went to the store, we were first helped by a few ladies, and later when Ryan learned that the person that had been emailing him had actually showed up, so he came to the store floor to personally meet us. He was super friendly and knowledgable. He was not pushy at all, but he persuaded us to place the order there and then, and I am glad we did! He kindly offered us some discounts, and him and his designer helped us customize our sofa, love seats and accent chairs. The furniture was delivered within the time frame they promised. The delivery guys were very professional and showed up on time. P.S. One of the chairs had a broken leg which they had noticed before delivering to us and they quickly ordered a new leg, and came in and replaced it two weeks later. If you've never been in this store at Christmas time, you need to make sure to stop by. It's like entering a Christmas WONDERLAND! And the prices on their very unique ornaments are pretty reasonable. This review is from a husband's perspective. My wife and I purchased a new home and it badly needed some furniture/decor upgrading. We came into the showroom and were very impressed by the layout and the quality choices available. It was not our intention to let their designers take over, since we believed we could pick out things one by one and do it ourselves. Audrey assisted us and she is wonderful. My wife and I made an appointment for her to come out to our home and assess our needs. Well, we were still thinking at best we would get some great "ideas". Audrey discussed our preferences, took tons of pics/measurements and a week later we showed back up in their showroom. Audrey had staged our entire new living area on their floor, and we were blown away. It was outstanding. Heidi and Audrey introduced each piece and we had our input. We were hooked. They both came out to our home along with their very helpful, professional movers and staged our living room. It is off the charts gorgeous. No high pressure, but their knowledge and great taste/experience and preparation made it a no brainer. The prices were more than fair. After coming into this process very leery, my wife and I now are in love with our "new" home and are confident now in entertaining our friends. We cannot more highly recommend Creative Interiors and Design, and Audrey and Heidi specifically. They are true professionals, listen to your input but after you see how great they put things together for your home, you will be hooked too. Five Stars!! read more
