This place is a dump. I thought items were overpriced and not great quality. I don't see how it has a 4.5 on Yelp.

Nice place. I was helped by a lovely young lady named April. Prices are really good on some nice furniture.

Not what you would expect for a consignment store. Prices are as if you are buying new.

The goal was to test out all different styles and features until we decided what we liked. All different price points. Our current couch is 15 years old and it's time to replace it. My son fell in love with a corduroy pull out sectional with a "Cuddler" corner at Furniture Shack, and no other ones were up to snuff. He would not stop talking about the potential movie nights we could have on this couch. We went back to Furniture Shack the next day to sit on the couch again to confirm that it "had enough sink, Mom" and that's when we met Brett. He was super low pressure and they have the most adorable Yorkies eveeerrrrr. No snakey salesman pitch, no trying to push you into a sale. He sat and chatted and was down to earth and so easy to work with. What an honest, respectable business you operate, sir. We purchased the sectional and will continue to spread the word of your business. Very affordable pricing, and trust me when I say it's the best bang for your buck; we literally did all the footwork. I'll update this review with our first movie night after it's set up in a couple weeks!

Here's how it felt to me: - Luxurious Setting: The store is elegantly designed with carefully curated furniture pieces. Soft lighting highlights the fine details of beautifully crafted tables, plush sofas, and intricate decor. - Aesthetic Appeal: The ambiance is inviting and serene, with well-thought-out displays that make you imagine how the furniture would look in your home. - Indifferent Staff: Salespeople are present, but they seem preoccupied. They were quietly chatting among themselves, paying little attention to customers. The contrast of Beautiful vs. Unwelcoming was striking. The juxtaposition of the store's luxurious, inviting decor with the indifferent, almost cold demeanor of the staff creates an unsettling contrast. Weird vibe here. I left without making a purchase. I do want to point out that the City Home store on 1101 SE 3rd Ave. inPortland doesn't share this vibe. I'll just go there next time.

What an interesting furniture store! As soon as you pull into the parking lot, you just know you're…read morein for an experience. There's an upper level and a lower level with a variety of home decor and furnishings - beds, shelves, tables, chairs, you name it. I was very impressed with their selection of live edge and epoxy tables. The staff were very friendly and great at letting you know they were available for any assistance but not pressuring at all. There was a big sale going on so we did end up getting a table. Very happy with our experience, great value for our table, and quality seems to be holding up just fine over time. Highly recommend, whether you need furniture or just want to window shop.

The first thing I want to say, is that I have been recommending ATBD to everybody I know for years…read more We've bought countless pieces of furniture from them (Dining room set, Murphy bed, Dresser, wood bench, leather sectional) and I've told everybody how wonderful their selection is, how nice the staff is, how reasonable the prices are and how much I adore this store. That is why I am so incredibly disappointed in their service department and willingness to make things right. When we picked up our Sectional this last December, just before the New Years weekend, we picked up a really cool looking dresser for my special needs sister in law as late Christmas present. To my utter surprise, my Mother in law told me about a month ago that the top drawer had completely fallen apart and would not open or close. I told my MIL that ATBD was a stand up business, who stood on their reputation and would likely bend over backwards to make things right, especially considering the dresser was not even 4 months old!!! Well, after my MIL has gone in there to see them in person AND has called multiple times, I am sad to say they have completely blown her off. Promises to "have somebody call you" have been made but not kept, after telling my MIL that they couldn't even find record of the sale. Kind of hard to believe, especially because this dresser is one of their "specialty pieces" and very unique (she showed them pictures). So disheartening. We fixed the dresser ourselves, after waiting a month for them to make things right. I will likely never buy anything from them again and hope my new sectional lasts longer than the dresser did.
