Absolutely phenomenal staff who made our experience buying blankets so pleasant and special. I took a tour with my aunt and uncle with Stephanie and Jodie. They were amazing!!! Also a blonde gentleman with longer hair whose name I did not get was so accommodating to get my uncle the right shirt and truly surprise him. He is not the type of person who would buy himself a very nice wool flannel so I was pleased to get that for him. I took my time finding blankets and asked the knowledgeable staff many questions and they were all very kind and patient. Special shout out to Stephanie who treated me with the utmost care! And of course the famous Jodie is not to be missed! Go to the tour on weekdays at 1pm. It's worth it as you get to tour all 330K feet of the mill which has been around since the early 1900s! To those who complain about outlet pricing - Pendleton produces high quality items. If you are looking for an outlet experience this is not that. It's far more special but deals are to be had! I got a Los Ojos blanket as a gift for a friend's house warming--half off from the seconds section and there was nothing wrong with it - it was just slightly narrow in the cut. If you are a made in the USA high quality fabric fan / this is not to be missed!

Willus is right! Famed Pendleton's wooly wonders to be fully appreciated only after a mill tour and outlet store...very cool and not hard to find at all... (i.e. follow the river!) I'm very appreciative of history and architecture, and as such an individual, gloried in the drive up from home to bring Mom and I on a tour of the wool mills and to shop at the outlet. The lovely wool throw that is both oh so functional and also matches my LR's furnishings was purchased here.... get many comments on how deliciously warm it is for cuddling out on the patio, even *with* the chiminea lit and working away.... Fun to drive through historic Camas and Washougal (catchin' a Burgerville stop to boot) to arrive in time to catch a very lovely tour....the tour guide was very enthused (which always helps) and showed us very many part of the process...(Pendelton itself just too far east....) I recall the tour lasting almost an hour, and if you do own Pendleton, I guarantee you that you'll not wear/wrap the next thing about your body without some kind of pause as to its process of how it came to be... The dying process had me captivated....all the various skeins threaded and whirrrrrrrrring away at breakneck speed....so loud that we had to wear ear protectors. The outlet, sad to report, is like a Talbots for the older person with fustier tastes (read: non-fastidious, at least not as much as could be).. I feel strongly that you've got to possess one of those eagle-eyes for spotting cute, nice patterns and styles. Pendleton... I wish that I could fill a linen closet with more of your little cousins and extended members... that I have a few pieces to adore and lovingly use (with deep appreciation) makes me feel a blessed gal.... PS for the value-conscious bargain hunter, I fear you may not find *any* great finds here... but in comparison to the downtown stores of any upscale area, in any city (not just Pdx), you're going to forking over much, much more $.

The store is well worth the trip from Portland. There are usually much lower prices with most or a lot more of the selection of the main store. Good luck finding the imperfections. They seem no different than the regular items. Most of the stuff looks great.

A small selection of discount mill ends from the woolen mill. Great prices on both pendelton finished goods, blankets and fabric.

Friendly service! The ladies go out of their way to help find your particular size if it is not in the store.

I highly encourage all people who love their mothers to visit this adorably eloquent antique shop…read more Amazing selection, ACTUAL vintage products to consider for your home with prices that respect your wallet. The owner herself is an engaged and passionate salesperson who gets just as excited as you about vintage trinkets, jewelry, and clothing. Every item in this wonderfully laid-out shop feels like it has a story to tell. Whether you need a gift for your parents or are a young person yourself looking for something unique and personal, I believe there's something for everyone here. All around a very wholesome experience, I'm very happy that I found this place.

Went in today because my mom was excited to see they were open, we walk in and immediately one of…read morethe employees starts to laugh when noticing us, I assume because of my son and the type of store it is. She comes over and asks my son his name and tells my son "if you keep your hands in your pockets the entire time your mom and grandma shop, I'll give you a special treat." We chuckled and told her that wasn't going to happen and my mom proceeded to hold my son's hands to ensure the employees that everything was going to be fine. This lady had the AUDACITY to tell another employee, which was loud enough for us to hear, "can you keep an eye on Noah so he doesn't touch anything, I can control my grandkids, but I guess she can't." My son is 5 and autistic, not to mention he's a kid and kids don't acknowledge stuff like that. I've never been so disgusted in my entire life. We decided not to continue looking and left after the comment was made since the employee began to follow us around. I read another review of Ellen responding to someone and saying they "try to be nice" but making a comment like that about us isn't being nice, it's very poor behavior. Definitely never returning

On my way to Hood River I always make a point to stop in since handbags are definitely my thing,…read morealong with any accessories. Coach is an affordable "designer" bag so it's usually the first designer bag for many women. The Coach Outlet offers a lower quality bag than their flagship stores so know this going in. They are good bags, great when you want a spot of color and don't want to spend more than $100-$150. They mark the prices WAAAAAY up then offer 50-70% off. The is a very old and everyone-has-caught-onto-this "sales" technique. It's so 20 years ago! No one really thinks you are giving them 70% off on every single bag on some random Monday in the summer. Just put the darn price on the bag, and if you must, do a "compared to" as a reference. The constant changing of prices and discounts to arrive at the same net price is so annoying!! To demonstrate how complex it is, all of the salespeople carry calculators. When was the last time you went to a store and to determine the price of an item the staff had to figure it on a calculator? That is just ridiculous. The only real bargain to be found is when you find a purse that has the same 50-70% that every handbag in the store is receiving that day and it has an additional 20% off because it's on clearance. That's a deal! It's the only way I will buy anything here because these bags are a lower quality leather and craftsmanship, so price for me has to equal "worth what paid for." Once in a great while there will be a bag or two from the flagship store, think Coach at Pioneer Square, and it has the same 50-70% discount. That is a real bargain. On my last stop in I bought a cream colored crossbody bag with some crystal Daisys that gave it personality, making it stand out from the traditional conservative bags Coach is known for. Supposedly it was $398 which was NEVER believable or a reality. After 70% and another 20% the bag cost about $92, which I felt was a fair price and the bag is now mine. The only thing more annoying than the insultingly jacked up prices is the annoying salespeople who swarm when you enter. - Hi, have you ever been here before? - Here's a coupon for 70% off everything in the store. - Are you looking for something specific? - Can I help you find something? - Did you know we are having a sale? Noooooooo! Make it stop!!!!!!! I don't need a coupon, everything is drastically on sale every single day! Let me wander, if I need help I will ask. Other reviewers state they can't find customer service help. Let's trade places! I hate being hounded when I shop or constantly told how great the sale is when it's a gimmick. Rant over. I'll continue to pop in a few times a year, as I walk in the store I will politely state that I don't need help, and rush pass the door greeters. I'll shop at my pace seeking out the real deals. And every now and then will come home with a treasure. Get on their email list and when they open up their online site a few times a year, you can shop in peace and know the prices right up front!

Their customer service is very good. And because of Oregon doesn't charge sales taxes, many…read morecustomers from other states would come here for shipping and pay cash. They can be pretty busy, especially during the holiday season. The price is even lower than their outlet website. So I would definitely recommend it here if you happen to visit Portland
