The pharmacy is the best. All of them , but we have had Mary as our pharmacist for 20 years.

It takes a little less time if you go through the drive-thru, but still, the response times are abysmal. The problem is that this *PHARMACY* now prioritizes all the vaccine people, who take precedence over prescription pick-ups. Ridiculous. Don't go here. Get your prescriptions filled at Rite Aid if you want decent service.

She engaged with every customer with a smile and enthusiastic greeting. The gentleman before me was trying to apply points for his purchase...an annoying and tedious process...and I had a badly sprained wrist so I was slow and clumsy, but she was supportive and very helpful in moving things along. She apologized to the customers in line, greeting each with a warm smile. (She also gave me some kind advice about using horse linament for my badly sprained wrist, but I was too distracted by pain to pay attention.) She was altogether wonderful. Please give this kind-hearted, generous employee a raise! She exemplifies the best of customer service!!!! I am having a miserable weekend filled with pain and unable to use my right hand. I accepted that nothing good would happen this day. But boy, I was surprised by the kindness and consideration of this cashier for every customer waiting to check out. She has been the bright spot in my miserable day. Thank you for hiring her, and please, please give her a raise!!!

And when the store itself is dirty, cluttered, and clearly not being maintained, it makes that kind of treatment feel even more insulting. When a business expects customers to follow rules, they don't even uphold themselves, it erodes trust fast. You deserved basic courtesy, a clean environment, and a little common sense from the staff. As a business and not having a garbage for your customers is disgusting. Then once again to tell a customer to leave your property to throw something away is so disrespectful. I can't see or family ever wanting to use your business again. Do better

Secondly - I started watching Ted Lasso again this week, and I really want to be curious and not judgmental but damn this store really, really makes that hard. The parking lot is empty. Ok. thats fine, this should be easy then. I look all over for a waste basket as I walked a mile up with a coffee to get this passport photo after specifically looking online. If there is one thing I hate most in life is wasting my time with capitalism. Not a single waste basket in the parking lot. This area has been high foot traffic for neighborhood loitering - so maybe that makes sense. Upon entering - no waste basket. I really want to just litter in the store. There is no employee upfront. The photo section is in its usual place. This place is eerily silent. Did i literally jump from Ted Lasso to the Last of Us on my walk up here? I walk over towards the photo area and a guy in shorts and a shirt carrying a product says hello to me, like he works there. I think - wow - even the customers here are crazy. I get up to the photo area and a tumbleweed goes blowing by. (Not really, but it seemed like a scene in an old western. I notice that this photo area is tore up. There are consoles that have clearly been removed, but nothing has been touched up. The guy who belongs more at the beach than working in retail is now up at the front cash register milling about. I'm looking around for where the heck is the white background for the photo. I press the "i'm begging for someone to be paying attention to customers" button and the entire store is notified that oops, they did it again - and aren't doing their jobs. The wayward customer makes his way back over and asks me if I am picking something up. Now I deserve an award for holding back, because i really wanted to inquire as to why he felt it appropriate to report to work dressed like that without any professional indication he works there - but instead I skipped to - I'm here for a passport photo. "Oh thats been broken a long time". Hmmm. Ok. "Your website says you do them here." "(I don't remember what dumb words he said, because I just thought wow - this place has totally given up.) Sure Amazon and the online world have zapped the marketplace, but have some g'damn self respect to run a store worth visiting. Walgreens should immediately remove this location from their brand because one thing is evidently clear is that no one that works within these four walls gives a duck about anything. I thought for a minute that maybe the real employees were being held hostage in the back, and I ran into the evil, maniacal criminal mastermind in shorts working the heist out front - so if this makes the news tonight - oopsie. At least I got a decent walk in and got to think about this review on my way back for 23 minutes. I'm sorry Ted Lasso, I'll start over the Lasso Way tomorrow.

During my tenure, it seems like every other day the pharmacy team was behind by tens of, if not HUNDREDS, of prescriptions. This is not to say they are lazy or not hard-working, but entirely the opposite -- each member has so many tasks to do on top of cashiering (tedious and time consuming), which is often underrated by the patients that come in. If a pharmacy technician is too busy cashiering then they can't answer phone calls, they can't put away the morning's shipment of new medications, etc. Additionally, the technology in the pharmacy acts out all the time. Patients complaining about being sent the wrong notifications, the computers at the registers malfunction and freeze up a lot, the scanners sometimes don't work, etc. Get a new IT and tech team, ASAP Invest in newer tech or at least more reliable hardware/software Humans are only human! Customer service is listed as one of their priorities, but the pharmacy team cannot always be friendly, nice, and outgoing ESPECIALLY with their current workload and also unfortunately, a lot of the patients that come in are extremely RUDE and do not always bring in the necessary paperwork to process their prescriptions and such -- their frustrations are then dumped onto whoever is unlucky enough to be cashiering and sometimes, the manager pharmacist or staff pharmacist. There is clearly a lack of trust and respect between the pharmacy team and patients. Would I recommend this place? Not really. If you want to get your prescriptions typed up and your medications out quickly, then this pharmacy has too many orders in a day -- you will most likely be told "wait until tomorrow" but even that doesn't guarantee anything.
