Not at all surprised to see bad reviews. They just don't care at all. Their level of customer service is to ignore you at the pharmacy pick up window. Don't go in if you can help it, just use the drive through. Male pharmacist better than the female. Try to avoid the round faced red headed girl like the plague. They're system is not communicating with Providence insurance company. For some reason they're system is still reading that I have a cancelled insurance coverage, which has caused an exhaustive exchange about my medication coverage. I am so disappointed by their treatment of a relative, that I will no longer utilize this store and will tell others of my relative's experience. Relative had come in for covid/flu vaccines. Had made an appointment and showed up on time. He was told his insurance did not cover the vaccines and the total cost for both would be $200. He left. When he called me seeking help, I read through his policy and vaccines are 100% covered by his local pharmacy. NOT WALGREENS. When I called the pharmacy to inquire on behalf of my relative, they said that his insurance does not cover vaccines (WRONG). When I explained their website says vaccines are covered even if you don't have insurance, they said you have to sign up and qualify for a federal program before they will cover it. Per the Walgreens website: "At this time, COVID-19 vaccines will be provided at no cost, regardless of insurance status." Hasn't Walgreens received federal funding for administering the Covid vaccines? Are they double dipping? I cannot help but think of others that have been turned away. SHAME ON YOU. read more

Most of the time the clerk at the drive-thru pharmacy window is really nice (gives my Sheltie treats) & courteous to me. I cannot go inside to get my prescriptions because I am disabled. Their photo department is misleading. I received an email that my order was ready and it wasn't. I get there and it was sitting on the counter needing to be finished.... No one was working on it so some one else tried to rush to finish it and messed it up. I was on my way to my daughter's school to give it to her so she could use it for show and tell, as her grand mother just passed away and I had to let her down.... This has happened to me now two times.... Don't order photos here... it's worth the drive to go somewhere else. read more

Went to pick some photos up today. There was a lady working behind the counter but for some reason she acted like she could not see us. So we waited patiently for over 5 minutes before going to find someone else to help us. When we found someone they said "there is a lady at the counter" I told him "we have been standing in front of that lady and have not been acknowledged". So he decided to help us himself when he couldn't find our photos he started to mumble softly under his breath as if it was our fault he couldn't find them. When he found them he took our payment he did not even apologize for being ignored or being able to find our pictures. Do not go to this Walgreens go to Rite-aid! Edit: just got home with my photos and more then 5 of the photos came out with lines. I would go back but I don't want to deal with this place ever again lesson learned. This is by far the worst pharmacy of all time- no exaggeration! The pharmacy staff is completely incompetent. I am constantly getting partial refills. They deny refills when they misread the prescription orders. They don't notify you when they actually fill the partial prescription. You have to keep calling and calling to find out if they have your medications. Awful read more

Absolutely aggravating layout in which all of the things you would come to a pharmacy for are on opposite sides of the store. Customer service is non-existent. Today was told that since I have no insurance I would have to pay for my prescription $131.00 Called insurance to find out what was going on. They said I am fully covered. So, walgreen's was wrong. Came home on another occasion with 2 scripts for another person. Was told by Walgreen's that they have no record of me getting any scripts from them. I am not in their system even though I have been dealing with them for over 15 years! Was told by PHARMACIST (without even looking at her computer screen) " You can't fill that yet. It's way too early" told her to check her computer screen . She checked and then told me it was ready!! I stopped by this location today and was met by a pharmacist named Angela. She had a cold demeanor from the get-go. I told her I was trying to change my prescription for Clonazepam since Costco is carrying a crappy brand that is not effective. She told me the only brand she had and I told her I'd have to Google it to see the reviews first. So, I sat in store and looked it up on Google only to find out the brand they carry had a 1-star rating and people writing in said it felt like they were taking nothing at all. So I let her know that they are carrying another bogus brand and asked when she was getting Teva. She told me it's on backorder. I asked when she though they'd have it. She started barking at me that they don't know because it's on backorder. And I told her usually with backorders they give an estimated date. She claimed they did not with a snippy attitude. I told her I planned on giving her a bad review and she started talking very loudly to the other pharmacists (there were several working) and started ranting about me saying that she should know when backorder would come in. I could still hear her as I was exiting the store, that's how load she was. If you need surveillance this happened on 8/7/2024 between 4 PM - 4:30 PM or shortly afterwards. The head pharmacist is outstanding; but the pharmacy is almost always UNDERSTAFFED. That's why you can expect to wait on hold for over 45 minutes to speak to someone about why a prescription was not filled. Came in to get a prescription strength tube of fluoride toothpaste and was told it would take 30 minutes to take the box off the shelf and hand it to me because there were "a thousand people" ahead of me. If they hadn't already taken my prescription from me, I would have taken it to another pharmacy. 45 minutes later I pull up to the drive-thru and they tell me to come back later. I started with all my prescription same day for 90 refils. Now my 6 prescriptions are all over different dates. Put my prescriptions on auto file 10 times over the years, and never happen. There has been times my 90 dats. They didnt have 90 days. I got chstmrged same amount. The next order shorter time period got same charge. When i said when you can fill my order full i'll come get them, they couldnt do that id get the new charge which always the same. Plus many times t personal have bben not the most pleasant. Terrible customer service. I ordered a small order of holiday cards and photos this morning with same day pick up option. It said it would be ready by 5:45 pm. At 7pm I walked in to pick up. The photo employee avoided me for 5 minutes working behind the counter. Finally when a line started forming she looked up and said what did you order? I gave my last name and what I ordered online. She shut me down right away and said did you get an email saying it was ready? I said the email I received when placing the order said it would be ready at 5:45 and it was now 7pm. She said that they were about a day behind and are processing in the order received. She was very unfriendly and rude. Why allow customers to order same day if that's not possible? Why not email or call customers saying they have a delay vs having customers come in person to find out? I live 30 minutes away and didn't appreciate the waste of time and trip. Covid protection not observed here. 1). The cashier did not have the mask covering her nose. 2) A female employee who could have easily walked around my children and I instead walked about 6 inches from my daughter for no apparent reason. 3). The manager was speaking with an employee leaving for the day who also had his mask pulled down well below his nose. For a strore know for caring for sick people I was surprised how even basic measures were ignored. Instead of getting passport photos online by submitting your own photos from phone, online companies would change your backgrounds to white, mail your passport photos in 2-3 days for $6, we decided to stop by this local Walgreens on 164th, for convenience and support local businesses. We approached the photo counter, called for attention to this woman who was touching and photoshopping a young female photo. This stereotype-looking woman, late 40-50ish, reluctant to help us. Instead of taking our photos just like anywhere else, she told us to wait ten minutes, she was working with a passport photo. We asked her why not taking our photos first, then work on them in the order. She claimed the customer was in the store and refused, continued photoshopping a photo, looks like her family member. Who the heck touch up or photoshopping a passport photo? She was not cropping, I know Photoshop and editing myself. Why would we support this kind of business, obviously they don't need our businesses. My wife and I left their store, drove to Walmart a mile away on 192nd, the person behind the counter grabbed her camera, clicked clicked, we were out in five to seven minutes with two photos each, instead of probably wait half an hour or more at that Walgreens By hiring these stereotype, racist & lazy ignorant, these store owners will pay big time - big loss! read more

I've been filling Rx with Walgreens all over the US for over twenty years. This location puts a stain on all of them While I am used to occasional side eye when picking up or calling in my medications, which I have taken the majority of my life for a chronic health condition, I can look beyond the ignorance of a pharmacy tech but every month this pharmacy does something else that leaves me exasperated. I have never been treated with such incredible disrespect and with such a rude affect by pharmacy staff ANYWHERE. And no I'm not filling Rx for opioids (though it shouldn't matter if I was). Every month when I call to have my Rx filled at this location I am questioned about whether I am actually due to have my Rx filled. Then despite looking at my file while we talk with these exact Rx staring back at them with dates and details I am interrogated about the exact dosage (no there are not duplicates or other possible confusing situations), prescribing doctor's names, the date I last filled said Rx etc. All information they can see. Typically this interrogation also includes statements like "I'll have to see if you can have that filled" or "Let me verify that we can do that" or "I'm not sure you have any Rx available for you". YES YOU DO. AND YOU HAVE TO FILL THEM. All of this condescending nonsense seems to be an ignorant and passive attempt to either catch me in some sort of lie or project judgement on me. Seriously? I fill the same three Rx every month. Do you really think you're some sort of detective or that you have any right to question my medical treatment for conditions that you have no knowledge of whatsoever? Thank god HIPAA at least protects that from these dregs. Last month, my husband was told he gave the wrong address when picking up my Rx--he did not--the address the pharmacy tech said was listed was one I have not lived at in over 15 years (and is in Illinois). This makes no sense since I have been filling Rx at this EXACT location for over a year. My insurance and billing information are connected to my local address here. Today, I needed assistance after confirming with my insurance that Walgreens was incorrect regarding changes my Rx coverage. After my husband dropped in to explain the situation he was told a tech would call me to confirm that it had been worked out. When I received the call from a female who did not identify herself, I was met with phrases like "that isn't my problem" "that isn't our job" "I can't help you with that" and "you can deal with this yourself". I asked politely MANY times for her to try the information provided by my insurance and she refused to let me finish telling me that I was wrong and she couldn't help me. She repeatedly told me that the information I had was not correct. Guess what? I just confirmed she is 100% wrong. So I guess this is actually more of a question of are the employees here incompetent or discriminating against me? After reading other reviews I'm inclined to believe both are true. I intend to contact the proper state authority on these issues. If you experience similar issues you can contact the Washington Department of Health as well as the Pharmacy Investigator--I will be filing a formal complaint about my experience for misleading and unprofessional conduct to both-- I am also sending this complaint to Walgreens corporate office. I needed some photos taken for a UK passport application - as you may not know, the dimensions for the photos are different from those in the US. I had read on line that Walgreens was very accommodating and would be able to help - and boy did they help! I visited the Walgreens on 164th and had the pleasure of speaking with Renee in the photo department. She was extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. She worked diligently for 45 minutes + ensuring that the photographs adhered to the strict UK requirements. I was blown away by her professionalism, attention to detail and overall customer service. I cannot thank her, and Walgreens enough for making this such an easy and pleasant experience. read more

A little bit of attitude from the pharmacy tech, but I obtained my meds without any other hassle. The ONLY reason they get 3 stars is because they have 2 wonderful pharmacists there. I have been under close supervision from my doctor for years and just switched from one Walgreens to the 24 hour one because it's close to where we moved. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by multiple pharmacy techs and pharmacists than at this location. It is ridiculous how long the wait is, if they'll even give you the medication (last time my husband had to go advocate for me with the manager because I came home crying) and how they can actually refuse you the medication that you've been taking for close to 7 years based on their own opinion of a medical issue they have no knowledge of. I finally found 2 different pharmacists there (1 is Tom and 1 is a newer young gal) and Tom always goes above and beyond to ensure that not only are my refills on time, but he also helps avoid many of the situations I've dealt with in the past. I am thankful he works there and only try to come in when he is working. You'd think they'd treat someone better who fills at minimum nine prescriptions a month and they see at least every 2 weeks. Trust me, even with going off of 2 of them recently, I still spend a LOT of money there. They really need to get rid of the two older women there who are pharmacists because they are both very rude and refuse me my medications stating things such as "We no get right instruct from your doctor" ... uh... guess what? I can see exactly what my doctor wrote on the notes via mychart so that's a load of ... anyway, be selective with the types of medications you fill here because if it is any type of controlled substance (yes, even if you've been taking it for YEARS), they can and will give you crap about it and sometimes even refuse to give it to you because it violates the rules, "according to Walgreens policy." I've gone into withdrawal a couple times because they refused to fill my medication on time. Beware whenever Tom isn't working. read more

Walgreen's passport photo software is non-compliant with the US Passport requirements and results in rejection of application, photo re-submission and loss of time. Furthermore they have been informed of the issue but not taken action. We will see if they at least refund my money. read more

I thought I was the only one with an awful experience at this pharmacy, but I can see other people had it too. Yesterday I decided to switch to Walgreens because it would make it easier for me to use their pharmacy drive thru. I come in to drop off a prescription and pick up two prescriptions. A pharmacy technician with the name tag that said Jessica was rarely seen unhelpful and unpleasant customer service staff member. She asked for my insurance ID which I gave her and she pretty coldly says "We do not accept Tricare!" It caught me very much by surprise since I picked up a prescription for my kid 10 days ago at the exact same spot, and I asked "Is this a new thing?" She just responded "Well, my list here says we don't accept it!" And that was the end of her customer "care". I asked if I could just pay then for one item I picked up off the shelf, and not a word from her, just an eye roll and I said Nevermind, I'll pay at the front cash register." She didn't say Bye, sorry, thank you, good day, nothing of that kind. I got home and hoped online to see about Walgreens not accepting Tricare, when I could swear I read and saw huge announcements how they are "saluting active duty military and retirees" now etc. and I was right. I gave the pharmacy a call and the female on the phone was very nice and helpful (except one detail at the beginning when she told me "she doesn't need to be read this, she knows what the policy is") There were a few other details along these lines, that are minor, but this was such a frustrating experience, there is no way I will be switching to Walgreens. Then I was asked to return in 15 minutes to pick up the medication. They try to eliminate a long line of cars by doing so which is fine but I wish the service would have been a bit quicker. read more
