I have had cancer twice and need to have teeth pulled, and this has affected me financially and so I have state insurance at this time. I have worked most of my life. Most dental offices I have called recently are rude, judgmental and unprofessional. They need to remember that even basic calls to a dental office are shared with others. Andersen Dental office shared information I needed today, and consequently I am referring others and my son, who just graduated pharmacy school, to Andersen Dental, as a future dental office to go to for their/his own teeth. :) I spoke with front office staff /insurance there and the two people I communicated with on the phone today were totally awesome and made my day. It is never fun to be ill, and Andersen Dental made me feel welcome even though my insurance is not covered at their office. Nice. But my son's insurance will be, and that of others I know. Andersen Dental, pat yourself on the back, your front office staff is amazing! Thanks! I needed that so badly today. :)

It's been a few years since our insurance billing issues, so I thought I should update my review…read more We haven't had any more issues with them billing our insurance since then. They have dropped some coverage with certain insurance companies, but luckily ours wasn't one of them. They have also had a lot of dental hygienist turnover the last couple of years, but they seem to have a full staff again currently. That's been tough for us because we had been spoiled with having the same hygienist for years and got to know them, which added extra comfort to an otherwise stressful experience. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist, but seeing a familiar face had helped ease my anxiety. We love the relaxing spa vibes in this office. It feels clean and comfortable, but not overly clinical like some dentist offices. They offer beverages in the waiting room, which also has a couch and fireplace, making for a cozy environment. We also appreciate that they can make a crown while you wait and watch a Netflix movie. It's nice not have to wait a week for a third party to make the crown and leave the dentist office with a temporary. The in-house crowns we're not something we've experienced before, so that's a huge plus! Overall this is an exceptional dentist office. They have a nice relaxing environment and have the capabilities of performing most dental services in-house. We would highly recommend.

Called back for my cleaning timely, Megan was the hygienist - so very polite and accommodating. She conducted the cleaning professionally and gently, offered to clean my retainers, answered random questions I had re: bridges and implants, even commented how nice my husband is, who had been in the week before. Afterwards, Dr. Wu performed an exam - expertly and efficiently. He asked after the family, gave insight on insurance, and offered information about restorations. Professional and friendly service, all around. The only request I would make is to consider occasional Friday and Saturday appointment slots - so much easier when one works full time and has family.

I cannot recommend this dentist office in good conscience and from my experience…read more I came here in the beginning of the year. Got a temporary crown for five weeks. That itself should've been a red flag. I assumed the dentist Emily Young had my best interest. I should've know at her lack of communication with me that she didn't. I told her I was aware of my gum disease and I know it's gotten worse. I expressed my concerns and let her know I wanted to get pregnant but was hesitant as I know my gum health affects the whole body. I was asked if I cared what my teeth looked like and I said no. I was then told that if I didn't care about cosmetic look that it should be "fine." As long as I kept up with my cleanings. I have deep pockets but they could clean them there. Unfortunately I was scheduled months out. Not a priority even though it progresses daily... I had gum detachment within two months of being seen here. While I was waiting for my scheduled cleaning. I was then told by another dentist how deep my pockets really are, referred to a specialist and told by specialist I could not get pregnant unless I wanted to put my life and child's at risk. To say I am hurt is an understatement. I've lost time, money and gained more dental trauma. In my opinion I say do not come here.

My daughter was referred here by another dentist, and the referring office had already completed X-rays. Instead of obtaining those records, this office performed extensive additional X-rays that ultimately were not covered by insurance, leaving us responsible for paying out of pocket for imaging that was unnecessary. What made the situation even worse was the way it was handled. The office manager was incredibly rude and refused to acknowledge that my daughter had been referred when I asked why they didn't obtain the X-rays from the referring office, despite the fact that I had phone calls directly from their office confirming the referral. Rather than working with us to resolve the issue, the account was immediately sent to collections. After years of being loyal patients, I expected much better communication, professionalism, and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion of this office, and we will not be returning.

The overall nuance of the place reminded me of my stay at the Howard-Johnson Hotel on the Disney strip in Anaheim, CA (it was a great experience). Since I was able to obtain my x-rays from the previous dental office, Oasis only required one more x-ray to get a different view of a bothersome tooth. It was a quick trip in & out, but I've never in my 40+ years of life been treated with such consideration in a dental office. I made the entire staff aware that I have anxiety, & they treated me with care w/o being patronizing. In my experience that's rare in most professional settings. I was referred to a specialist because of the extenuating circumstances, & Oasis isn't equipped for surgical procedures. I recommend Oasis, & I've decided that these folks are going to be stuck w/me as a patient for a very long time.

I went to Oasis Dental in Ridgefield today (September 30, 2026) for a checkup and cleaning. After…read morethe exam I was told I needed deep scaling. I explained to the hygienist that I am a redhead and that local anesthetic often does not work well for me. That has been true since childhood. If extra time is not built in and numbness is not confirmed, scaling is extremely painful, which is why I have a long-standing aversion to dental care. I used a blunt, sarcastic comment about preferring to lose my teeth rather than go through that again. I was not refusing treatment. I was asking to be fully numb before they started. The hygienist left to discuss "options" and came back with a form stating I was refusing care and should find another dentist. There was no conversation about extra anesthetic, a longer wait, or the sedation this office advertises. I called manager Marlise Montgomery after I got home. I told her I was looking for reassurance that I would be numbed properly, not a new dentist. She said I was not a good fit, told me that as a healthcare provider I should know better than to delay treatment for periodontal disease, and suggested sleep dentistry. She offered to call back after she looked into it. The conversation had already made the outcome clear, so I declined. I was not interested in hearing the same message three times. The manager was correct: I work in healthcare. That does not exempt me from pain or anxiety. It does not mean a patient who asks to be numb is refusing care, and I should not have been shamed for my experiences. I was willing to stay and complete the treatment if I felt heard. Instead the visit ended with a dismissal form. This could have been resolved by a hygienist with an ounce of kindness or grace. That is a shame, because my previous hygienist -- who is on maternity leave -- was aware of my sensitivities and was always careful, took her time, and made me feel appropriately cared for. Most importantly, I trusted her and appreciated her. If she had been there today, I believe the outcome would have been different. Up until today I liked Oasis Dental and intended to stay with them.
