It takes a little less time if you go through the drive-thru, but still, the response times are abysmal. The problem is that this *PHARMACY* now prioritizes all the vaccine people, who take precedence over prescription pick-ups. Ridiculous. Don't go here. There's always a wait line to check out at this store. Always. It's tedious and annoying. But…read moretoday, Saturday March 16 at approximately noon, something special happened: the wait line was greeted and acknowledged by a wonderful cashier. I've never seen that happen until now. She engaged with every customer with a smile and enthusiastic greeting. The gentleman before me was trying to apply points for his purchase...an annoying and tedious process...and I had a badly sprained wrist so I was slow and clumsy, but she was supportive and very helpful in moving things along. She apologized to the customers in line, greeting each with a warm smile. (She also gave me some kind advice about using horse linament for my badly sprained wrist, but I was too distracted by pain to pay attention.) She was altogether wonderful. Please give this kind-hearted, generous employee a raise! She exemplifies the best of customer service!!!! I am having a miserable weekend filled with pain and unable to use my right hand. I accepted that nothing good would happen this day. But boy, I was surprised by the kindness and consideration of this cashier for every customer waiting to check out. She has been the bright spot in my miserable day. Thank you for hiring her, and please, please give her a raise!!!

My go-to for Covid and flu vaccines. As far as I am aware they are one of the only places in town…read morethat take walk-ins and that flexibility works great for me. Check their website before you go just to make sure they have the vaccine you need, they are great about keeping the info current. Wait time has steadily decreased over the years, and this time coming on a Friday afternoon there was no wait at all. Since my info is already on file with them the process is super quick. They are also right by the Hollywood Transit Center, which means I can get here easily by bus and MAX. They share parking with Trader Joe's which is probably the biggest challenge, but I usually find parking on nearby streets. If you need a vaccine and don't want to deal with appointments this is a great option.

I prefer using a local pharmacy, and mostly this has been a good one, but I am baffled by this latest development.

An added plus was that it is a fraction of the cost of what I used to pay. INCREDIBLY impressive work! Excellent communication from Ike and a wonderful experience all around. HIGHLY recommended.

Square care pharmacy has completed changed my client and my world…read more My client and I have gone through many pharmacies in the last several years and got the same treatment time after time; long waits on medication, rude phone calls, lies about medications and when they will be done, discrimination, judgement, and a much longer list of nonsense that we were put through. Then we found Square Care. It was a complete game changer. Ike, the owner of the business, is one of the kindest people I have had the privilege of knowing. He goes to great lengths just to know you and hear your truth about your experiences with the medical and pharmaceutical system. He is also the only pharmacy that we have ever had that made us feel like a priority. This business goes above and beyond to be on top of medication, understanding, supportive, and treat each new client/patient with the respect and care they deserve. The thing I love the most about Square Care is that they truly understand how ugly the pharmaceutical industry is and work everyday to be different. Ike has stated that he (unlike other companies) always sees the person first, and as I get to know this company more and more, I know that is true. If you have experienced the truly horrific side of pharmacies then you understand just how big of a deal this is. Ike (and the employees of Square Care Pharmacy) will never treat you like you are "less than" or put blame and judgement were none is deserved. You will get the respect and kindness that all humans deserve. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone, but especially those left behind or put down by the system, for reasons not of their on fruition
