I love The Caring Closet!!!! My two elderly parents were in need of medical equipment and this place was so amazing! They gave me everything I needed and the volunteers helped me pick out the right products and even loaded it in my car! I feel blessed to find them and wish every city had one! read more

An absolute Godsend to anyone dealing with rehab issues and needing medical equipment. I broke my pelvis in 3 places while disembarking from my truck :-(. The volunteers were amazing! It is such a blessing to have them in our community. I will donate equipment and funds in the future to repay them for their kindness. Diana, RN read more

This place is amazing. I love donating to this shop. Helps us keep all the excess medical equiptment from clogging up our garages. Thank you Caring Closet! read more

I can't fathom how this place could get anything less than a five star review. Everything is completely free, all the workers donate their time, and are so incredibly helpful. This place is amazing. What a blessing to have access to a place where everything is free. read more

I tried to donate a wheelchair, walker, etc., but was less than 5 minutes too late from closing. However, even though "A Caring Closet" was unloading stuff in the parking lot from another person, I was told that they would NOT take my equipment because I was too late to donate it. Wow! read more

Such a great organization! They take donations for things like wheel chairs, all kinds of items seniors need. They give them away!

This is a gem of a medical supply business. My husband had surgery and needed a walker and wheelchair. We found the Caring Closet for help. The items needed are sometimes available and sometimes not. They are a non-profit business that accept donations of medical equipment, so others can checkout and borrow, with just a signature and phone number. When your finished using the medical equipment, just bring it back. Super easy and takes off the stress of buying. read more

I was informed of "A Caring Closet" a few years back. Anyone that knows me will tell you I absolutely do not and will not ask for help. Even if it's to my own detriment. There will always be someone worse off than myself. However, a close friend did not give me a choice. She made me go check them out. Well, let me tell you, I slowly walked in, with my head down, and instantly saw everything thing I truly needed for my situation. A few of the volunteers, each individually, came over to me to check on me. Needless to say, I was in tears. They each noticed how upset I was. (Though I desperately tried to hide it.) One of the ladies held my hands and quietly said,"Let me guess, you do not like asking for help? Do you?" I shook my head yes. Then she looked me square in my eyes and told me, "Sweetheart, you've helped enough people . It's your turn now." Let me tell you, I've never felt so loved and cared for in all my life. I have zero doubt that this group of people are angels. And the only praise they wanted was knowing they helped people who would normally have to suffer because they could never have afforded these items that they truly needed to make their lives just a little easier. Or, to help them during recovery. That day I knew I had been blessed to have met these beautiful souls at: A Caring Closet. read more

They are so helpful. They replaced my mother-in-laws wheelchair at no cost. What a blessing they are.

Everyone that volunteers there is so helpful. Both mentally or needing supplies. They have helped me so much.

A few months ago I had double knee replacement surgery. My stepmom found this wonderful place to obtain "free" durable equipment I needed: toilet attachment, walker, shower chair, ice machines. All items were clean and in good working order with just a couple height adjustments required. Tte workers were helpful and cheery. I'm giving it all back next week for another patient. The equipment and money I saved will go toward the next borrower who needs help like I did! read more

Incredible organization! They give durable medical equipment to anyone in need. I experienced a leg injury as was able to get crutches and a knee scooter for no cost. When I was done using the knee scooter I returned it so that someone else could use it. This makes so much sense and is a fantastic resource for the community. read more

Such a wonderful place that exists on our community! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! We are in need of a wheel chair temporarily and plan to return after use. Address needs updated in maps from Apple IOS, I put an update request in. No public signage, a bit challenging to find. Great help from beginning to end, thank you for being here!!! read more

These guys are great! They provide strong, durable equipment in Clark County at no cost for Seniors. They have lots of stuff, such as walkers, canes, bedding, commodes, IV hangers, disposable undergarments, medical supplies, and a lot more. The volunteers are super friendly and helpful. Make sure you check their hours before going, they're only open for 3 hours, 3 days a week. read more

My mom passed recently and I went in to donate a few items. The guy who greeted me was very pleasant and even invited me in to take a look around. I politely told him I was busy packing and needed to run. Then I politely asked the woman standing behind the desk if I could have a receipt for my donation, a very common request when donating to a charitable org. This individual rolled her eyes at me and gave me such a surly attitude as if I had asked her to go fetch me coffee or something rather than take the 10 seconds it took to write a date on her receipt pad and hand it to me. She then proceeded to snap at me that it didn't matter unless I was planning to donate $26,000 to charity!! 1) She is presumably not a cpa or she wouldn't be working there. 2) She has ZERO knowledge of my personal financial circumstances. Perhaps I do donate that much to charity and more. She also had no idea if I am married or not, which changes the amount of the standard deduction on income taxes to half that for a single person. 3) Not that it was any of her goddamn business, but I informed her that I do itemize my taxes and therefore I CAN deduct my charitable donations. 4) I could have pitched a lot of stuff I am donating in the dump. When I make the effort to donate to a charity it would be really nice to be treated with respect and a tiny amount of gratitude and not rudely by some wench who has no idea what she is talking about. 5) stay in your lane lady and stop giving out unsolicited tax advice which you are CLEARLY not qualified to give. 6) put a friggin smile on your face and just do your job when someone politely asks you for a simple receipt for a donation. There are a lot of worthy charities out there. I would never donate cash or goods to this one again! read more

Surprised at the misrepresentation of the business name "A Caring Closet". Our families experience was just the opposite. Beth who answered the phone was rude and abrupt with her responses....the opposite of CARING. Because of this, we found 2 other locations that are very thankful to receive our gentle used medical equipment donations. read more

Great to have a place that helps people with needed items and it has wonderful volunteers that work hard and really care

The volunteers there were all so upbeat and trying to help answer my questions, ad fulfill my needs. I got a shower bench for my husband but had hoped to find one with arm rests....The volunteer said I could call back and inquire if they had gotten any in that I could exchange the one I brought home - and return it - in exchange for the one with arm rests. Someone even helped me put the shower chair into y trunk for me.....What a delightful experience! I will definitely pay it forward! read more

An incredible place, especially in today's world. They do everything right-wide selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff, helpful and pleasant. With no questions asked about need for items. Everyone should donate to this organization! read more

Such a wonderful establishment. Especially with elderly folks on a budget. Fantastic owner.

I've been there two times. Both times I've gone I have been treated with major disrespect. I don't know if it's because I'm younger that they feel that I shouldn't be there, but I'm not there for myself. They have awful customer service the nicest person in there is the man at the door that you signed the stuff out with. read more
