Love this place as much as one can love a compounding pharmacy. Friendly, thoughtful people. Decent prices. Good communication.

Until today, I had not set foot in a FM in 6 years...and now I know why. My recent experience at…read morethe Grand Central location can best be described as Kafkaesque. Walking through the door, you are greeted by security guards (that don't offer much "security"...more on that later) and have to go through "gates" to get in the store. I arrived at customer service with one person ahead of me, who had some issues that require one-half hour's worth of conversation. Staff did not call additional help. I finally asked an employee if they could open another register. I kid you not, she said to me, "we don't have enough employees" and sped off. A customer came up to the counter and told a staff member that there was a man in the parking lot who was slumped over his steering wheel with the engine running. She reported it to the "security guard" who told her to go to customer service!! The girl looked at her blankly and went back to helping the other employee. No call to management or 911. She finally overheard us talking and "called someone." And there you have it; the absolute LAST time I will shop in-store at FM. It is just too customer-hostile and dehumanizing. Even Target has started "niceness" training with its employees...like, how to show gratitude for the customers who keep your doors open. Anyway....I'm done.

You could call in days in a row and never have anyone answer. They never have more than one person working with the pharmacist. So not only do they deal with the walk up window, but also the drive thru.

The cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. Occasionally a cashier may not be 21 or older, so when buying alcohol, it could be a wait as they try to get an 'of age' cashiers to ring up your purchase. They have a drive-thru pharmacy which I appreciate. I hate going inside just to pick up a prescription. They also have phone message reminders for refills, which can be quite helpful. There's a photo center inside to get prints, or a DIY machine to print your own via USB drive. We've used this service in the past and had no issues. This location is also a FEDEX drop off site; however, it's limited on the size of boxes you can drop off. I love looking through their seasonal merchandise. They always have fun, last minute gift ideas. They have a weekly ad with sale items and new arrivals. Overall a nice location. Prices may not be the most budget friendly, but out of convenience, I'm sometimes willing to pay a little more. Would recommend.

Fred Meyer - Baker James took my order, relayed it to cake designer. When my husband picked it up, they were excited about it.

I called the Fred Meyer pharmacy with genuine questions about a refill date discrepancy I noticed between my old insurance and what the pharmacy had on file. Instead of receiving any clarity or basic courtesy, the pharmacist was dismissive, showed zero empathy, and ultimately hung up on me mid-conversation. I wasn't being difficult. I was confused - which is a completely reasonable thing to be when your insurance, doctor, and medications are all changing at once. Pharmacists are healthcare professionals who regularly work with patients in exactly these situations. A little patience and a clear explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, I was made to feel like a suspect for asking a straightforward question. That is unacceptable. I'll be transferring this prescription as soon as my current refill is complete. I wouldn't recommend working with Fred Meyer pharmacy.

Customer Service Review:…read more Arrived at 9:45 pm, yes relatively close to 10pm closing time. Initially asked Lead cashier (Red Vest) if I had to do a return for feminine products or could I do an exchange?? I explained I purchased said product at another location, for my Fiancé, and it was a cash sale I misplaced the receipt for. Under 10$ the Tampax product I purchased was wrong and I incorrectly chose these. Stating it was for allergic reasons I was unaware of and I was the loser fiancé who was just trying his best. Red vest said nope Customer service is closed and no tills are open also "needed a proof of of purchase" Frustratingly I accepted my fate and said thanks. I went back to my truck FOUND the RECEIPT. Walked back in at 9:51. Receipt in hand was given an attitude explaining "yeah whatever" again I accepted the response and left. Now I'll never shop at this location again. Why does having a receipt and paying for stuff even seem wrong these days. I'm a Hispanic man wearing a Hi ViZ work jacket, which is fine treat me accordingly, but my fiancé isn't she is perfect, and ultimately she will suffer. Not me. Thanks Fred Meyers self checkout Red Vest.
