This review is based on the pharmacy drive-thru service only…read more I've been coming here for almost a year filling a prescription for one of my dogs, who was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. After the diagnosis, I called the Walgreens near my home and they didn't know what the prescription was for and didn't offer to help me in any way. I also called Costco...they knew what it was, but didn't have enough in stock to fill my prescription. I finally called this Walgreens and was pleasantly surprised they knew what the prescription was for and had the full amount in stock! So, I've been coming here monthly, to get the prescription refilled. I've always had great customer service in the drive-thru. I usually drop off the script and pick the prescription up the next day. It's always been ready first thing. A friend told me about GoodRX and I was able to get the same prescription for half the cost. You only have to give the pharmacist the coupon codes once, then the discount is applied to that prescription automatically each time you get it refilled. Overall a wonderful pharmacy, with knowledgeable staff and friendly service. One thing to note is they're closed everyday from 1:30pm to 2pm for lunch breaks, so keep that in mind if you want to use the drive-thru.

Obviously I've been going this many years without any kind of a discount from them. I can go that many years ahead without any discount. Come on Walgreens. Get with the 21st century. Square care pharmacy has completed changed my client and my world…read more My client and I have gone through many pharmacies in the last several years and got the same treatment time after time; long waits on medication, rude phone calls, lies about medications and when they will be done, discrimination, judgement, and a much longer list of nonsense that we were put through. Then we found Square Care. It was a complete game changer. Ike, the owner of the business, is one of the kindest people I have had the privilege of knowing. He goes to great lengths just to know you and hear your truth about your experiences with the medical and pharmaceutical system. He is also the only pharmacy that we have ever had that made us feel like a priority. This business goes above and beyond to be on top of medication, understanding, supportive, and treat each new client/patient with the respect and care they deserve. The thing I love the most about Square Care is that they truly understand how ugly the pharmaceutical industry is and work everyday to be different. Ike has stated that he (unlike other companies) always sees the person first, and as I get to know this company more and more, I know that is true. If you have experienced the truly horrific side of pharmacies then you understand just how big of a deal this is. They obviously never think to clean their food seating area. Big sign says eat here, but it's so gross. How can they expect anyone to enjoy it? I finally asked an employee if they could open another register. I kid you not, she said to me, "we don't have enough employees" and sped off. A customer came up to the counter and told a staff member that there was a man in the parking lot who was slumped over his steering wheel with the engine running. She reported it to the "security guard" who told her to go to customer service!! The girl looked at her blankly and went back to helping the other employee. No call to management or 911. She finally overheard us talking and "called someone." And there you have it; the absolute LAST time I will shop in-store at FM. It is just too customer-hostile and dehumanizing. Even Target has started "niceness" training with its employees...like, how to show gratitude for the customers who keep your doors open. Anyway....I'm done.

The cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. Occasionally a cashier may not be 21 or older, so when buying alcohol, it could be a wait as they try to get an 'of age' cashiers to ring up your purchase. They have a drive-thru pharmacy which I appreciate. I hate going inside just to pick up a prescription. They also have phone message reminders for refills, which can be quite helpful. There's a photo center inside to get prints, or a DIY machine to print your own via USB drive. We've used this service in the past and had no issues. This location is also a FEDEX drop off site; however, it's limited on the size of boxes you can drop off. I love looking through their seasonal merchandise. They always have fun, last minute gift ideas. They have a weekly ad with sale items and new arrivals. Overall a nice location. Prices may not be the most budget friendly, but out of convenience, I'm sometimes willing to pay a little more. Would recommend.

Also, somehow they have my account set up into two different accounts and they have no idea how to sync them and so sometimes I get notifications via text and sometimes I don't. I have been extremely pleased with this pharmacy. I am responsible for three family member's drugs and visit this pharmacy frequently. I have never had a rude person work with me. Most of their staff have been there a long time and very professional. When I was working on learning their systems they were very patient with me. The staff and pharmacists have bent over backwards making sure I had the medicines that I needed when I needed them. I think the reviewer from Dec 2025 is mistaking rude for busy and being focused. I have never seen this employee rude to anymore. She is always helpful even when they are very busy.

I called the Fred Meyer pharmacy with genuine questions about a refill date discrepancy I noticed between my old insurance and what the pharmacy had on file. Instead of receiving any clarity or basic courtesy, the pharmacist was dismissive, showed zero empathy, and ultimately hung up on me mid-conversation. I wasn't being difficult. I was confused - which is a completely reasonable thing to be when your insurance, doctor, and medications are all changing at once. Pharmacists are healthcare professionals who regularly work with patients in exactly these situations. A little patience and a clear explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, I was made to feel like a suspect for asking a straightforward question. That is unacceptable. I'll be transferring this prescription as soon as my current refill is complete. I wouldn't recommend working with Fred Meyer pharmacy.
