This review is based on the pharmacy drive-thru service only. I've been coming here for almost a year filling a prescription for one of my dogs, who was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. After the diagnosis, I called the Walgreens near my home and they didn't know what the prescription was for and didn't offer to help me in any way. I also called Costco...they knew what it was, but didn't have enough in stock to fill my prescription. I finally called this Walgreens and was pleasantly surprised they knew what the prescription was for and had the full amount in stock! So, I've been coming here monthly, to get the prescription refilled. I've always had great customer service in the drive-thru. I usually drop off the script and pick the prescription up the next day. It's always been ready first thing. A friend told me about GoodRX and I was able to get the same prescription for half the cost. You only have to give the pharmacist the coupon codes once, then the discount is applied to that prescription automatically each time you get it refilled. Overall a wonderful pharmacy, with knowledgeable staff and friendly service. One thing to note is they're closed everyday from 1:30pm to 2pm for lunch breaks, so keep that in mind if you want to use the drive-thru. read more

I just left the Walgreens on andresen. It's about 9:30 9:00 in the evening. And last night somebody finally told me that even though they have my phone number. The reason why I never ever ever get any money off is because they didn't have my email address. So she entered my email address and I thought yay! I'm going to start getting some money off of purchases. Tonight. I had to run back up here and do some more buying and I answered my phone number and of course nothing had any money off. I told the guy. Yes I do want to enter my phone number and he got agitated. There was no one behind me and no one else in the store. So I gave him my email address and his lip started to curl like I was really putting him out. And then he asked me for my address and I'm like. Are you kidding me? This is a national company and they can't track my orders from my phone number and my email address. They have to have my address too. This is crazy. Thanks. I just told him to just forget it. Obviously I've been going this many years without any kind of a discount from them. I can go that many years ahead without any discount. Come on Walgreens. Get with the 21st century. Get your computers up to date and quit making people have to give everything including their address in order to get $0.25 off a purchase of cotton balls. Yours should be ashamed of yourself. I need to leave a negative 5. 1 star is frankly to much for the complete overwhelmingly negative experience I had today. At 1151 exactly I spoke to a pharmacy rep at this location who informed me that they had my family members seizure medication rx.They stated it would take roughly 2 to 3 hours and they woyld notify when ready. 4 hours later I was not notifiedI to call same location and stated they did not have my rx and I must be mistaken. Same number same location. They sent me to different location who informed me that i was at the correct location in the first place. They continued to lie and backtrack. It was shocking, you would think there would be some sort of integrity as a pharmacy tech and staff. Very rude, especially considering I was lied to twice. I have no problem if someone admits to a mistake i would understand. But to lie and try to blame the customer, shame on you people. -5 stars read more

This has got to be the worst Walgreens I've ever been too. They are not open on Sunday and they fill prescriptions at the wrong Walgreens. They said that since it was filled at the other Walgreens they would have to resubmit it to the doctor instead of transferring the prescription over to their location. I came here yesterday to fill two prescriptions: one common and one uncommon. I was told that they could order the common one, but they had no access to the uncommon one. I decided to try to find both elsewhere. The other pharmacy only had the uncommon Rx, so I had that filled. Today I returned to Walgreens and they told me they neither possess nor have access to the common medication they offered to order yesterday. Their only explanation was that there is a new pharmacist. Can you believe they let these stooges handle and distribute controlled substances? It's honestly messed up. I don't really write reviews and I certainly don't like to drag businesses, but I feel like people who rely on medication to live need to know this. The pharmacy is *extremely* unreliable; just don't use them. I've been using them for about a year to get my prescriptions refilled because they were the closest pharmacy that took my insurance. Several times I've waited days to pick up my refill only to have it cancelled or to learn that the pharmacy has closed temporarily. And I'm not talking about the 1:30-2:00 lunch break they always take -- I mean the entire pharmacy is shut down for an undetermined period of time. They don't communicate about it with you, either. I get the sense that they're extremely understaffed at this location, so I'm not upset with the pharmacists themselves; I feel very bad for them. I had a covid test here for noon. I drove from west Portland for this test because every other place is booked.. when I get to the window they have a sign up saying they are closed. Don't be a colored man in this store! I went to lab corps and got my blood drawn, the older gentleman that took care of me was kind and professional. I took time out of my day to browse the store, but couldn't find anything on my list and decided to leave. A very old white man thought I was stealing because I didn't make a purchase. As his higher up was telling him to not make a scene because A. I wasn't being sketchy (there's a difference between a tweaker lurking the isles and someone trying to find things they are planning to buy) and B. STILL had the bandage wrapped around my arm from getting my blood drawn. He still try's to ask me what's in my pockets because I'm a colored male. This PHARMACY keeps randomly closing when people are relying on them to be open, as per their posted hours, for their health. I have terminal cancer and need my prescriptions. They have blamed COVID (gee, other stores can handle it), staffing shortages (maybe pay more and people will work for you?), etc. I have heard Walgreens is doing this in every state to save money. There are several states suing them (according to news I read on google) so I'm 1. changing pharmacies as this is the fourth time they have done this and 2. alerting the AG's office. Today I contacted Walgreens because I had a few of my prescriptions that I had at CVS to be transferred and I had four that I needed to have refilled and picked up today it must be a pain in the butt to contact another pharmacy to have them transferred but she didn't make me feel bad about the process my with the help from Violet who was very pleasant and kind to speak to she let me know when my prescriptions will be ready for pickup and didn't ask me to do anything except to give her the information so she could contact CVS and have them transferred this process was very simple because of Violet and her great customer service and I just wanted to make sure that anyone reading this reviews would know how kind the people from Walgreens pharmacy really are so Violet if you're reading this thank you very much! The pharmacist Thuy was the most rude, assuming horrible horrible person. I have had surgery for my shoulder which is a long and painful recovery. I always have the same doctor and same prescription yet today when i need this medication for the weekend she flat out accuses me of being an addict when there is nothing to suspect. Yelling at me saying I called it in and saying how I'm an addict and telling me she is refusing to fill. I will be moving forward with a lawsuit. Horrible. Went in to use the restroom as a paying customer and was refused. They have a chain and signs posted outside of their restrooms stating employee only and when requested I was told no they are for employees only and ignored from that point forward. With WA state law any open business who has 3 or more employees shall allow a customer to use the restroom upon request. Thats if its an employee only restroom. This is a regularly public restroom that they chose to close. read more

In regards to the pharmacy...when they are busy they don't seem to know how to coordinate doing their job while displaying good customer service. Wait times are at times very long and often the staff is clearly frustrated and unpleasant. In other areas of the store such as the main check out, I have always had friendly service however. read more
