Always friendly and quick. They have good prices too and usually have what you would be after in a market like this one. Hot fried food too.

I came here on a rainy day in early February. I am dirty from a house remodel, everything hurts,…read moreand I'm tired. So, I won't lie, I had REALLY high expectations when I chose this out of all the other options for "dinner". I. Am. Blown. Away. The waitress was patient and answered all my questions. The place is small but clean. They run out of their seasonal, so be aware. My husband paid while I went to the bathroom and he kinda made a comment about 25 bucks for two ice creams, which surprised me as well. Until she gave us the ice cream. My Mt St Helens was three largish scoops with a delightfully large amount of toppings. His ice cream cone came in one of the largest cones I've ever seen. It's thicker and crispier than commercial so I think they make their cones in house! But the rockstar is the ice cream itself. I grew up in the area and so I'm very familiar with northwest flavors. This ice cream is like my childhood in a scoop. The ice cream has enough fats to give a nice mouth feel and I'm not even sure they use Guar gum or carrageenan. The honey tastes local. Even the raspberry syrup tastes like raspberries off the side of a country road that are ripe but not too ripe. That sweet sour taste. If you are traveling through or a guest of this town, you have to try the ice cream.

We have driven past this spot for years and always meant to stop in; we are so glad we finally did…read morenow that they have officially reopened! It was heartbreaking to see them closed for nearly a year following the crash that kept their doors shut, but the shop looks great and the community is lucky to have them back. The menu is packed with choices, and there are so many ice cream flavors to choose from. I went with the Bordeaux Cherry in a fresh, house-made waffle bowl, and it was a delectable treat. The staff behind the counter were not only friendly but also very funny, which made the experience even better. There is plenty of seating both inside and out for enjoying your dessert. It is such a welcoming environment, and we are so happy to see this Hillsboro staple back in action!

The shop smells heavenly when you walk in and that enticed the 3 of us to each order a waffle bowl for our yummy ice-cream. I was excited to see they have so many great flavors and they carry my favorite peanut butter and chocolate. My son ordered Huckleberry heaven and hubby had the cherry Bordeaux. The gentleman behind the counter was not super friendly or welcoming. Maybe he was annoyed because we all ordered waffle bowls that he was making anyway.

We love to…read morego here for a chill date night, I take friends, I have accidentally stumbled into trivia on Wednesdays. Tonight I stumbled into the great deals they have on Thursdays ($5 well drinks, $ off of beer and wine). There's always something. They have board games you can sit and play. Indoor seating, a big outdoor patio with heaters to cut the chilled evenings and umbrellas to give shade. It was busy when we arrived around 7 tonight and stayed busy most of the time we were there. You order at the bar but they will bring your food to you when it's ready. Their menu is decent for a small place. Tonight was the first night I had ever eaten the food. Gluten free options are limited but I got the hot honey pizza on a gluten free crust. It. Was. Delicious. Life changing. I ate the whole thing. It was not a personal pan pizza. The combination of flavors...spicy and sweet and salty...one of the best things I have eaten recently. I might go back tomorrow. This is a local, independent, woman-owned business that makes you feel like you can stay a while and like you should come back again soon. They have discounts for military folks and a special section of their menu for dogs. Highly recommend.
