My Sleep Apnea is severe and developed when I was in my twenties while in good shape. Since then,…read moreit has taken over my life and before I released what was happening, I was nearly 70 pounds overweight with perpetual exhaustion so extreme I was falling asleep at nearly every stoppage on the road; street lights, traffic, stop signs, etc. After finally being diagnosed, I began the long journey of treatment and sleep management. It is not a straightforward path. I've tried different machines, different size and mask styles, and have had multiple (expensive) sleep studies. It felt like the minute I would get on top of it, my apnea would prevail and the hideous cycle of sleep deprivation would continue. I have been going through my sleep specialist for mask fittings with little success. My energy levels would vary enough to convince me it was working, but shortly after the visit they would begin to dwindle. My new machine began to make weird noises so I brought it into this location to have it looked at. In talking with the woman behind the counter I mentioned how horrible my mask is, how I have to sleep with my face buried in my pillow just to keep the seal. I would up with blood in my eye sockets from the mask digging into the skin at the corner of my eyes. She referred me to Amy, who took me in for a mask fitting. One visit with her, and my mask problems have gone. I sat with her for maybe thirty minutes and we tried a couple of different masks, and she listened to my many woes of my current situation. She found a proper mask and the proper fit. Since that one meeting with Amy, my energy levels are back to a healthy level. I don't HAVE to sleep mid day anymore. I'm energized to accomplish tasks and get my work done. Where before I could maybe have enough in me to do the laundry and maybe a load of dishes, I can now act like a proper adult and get my chores done, along with my many other projects - like replacing the trim in our house, reshaping our front yard, finishing my online classes, etc. So I absolutely have to give 5 stars to this location. I was not looking to do a mask fitting, as my sleep "specialist" is a doctor and presumably competent. But the wonderful people at this Norco location took the initiative and got me the help I need and found a solution in a short amount of time. So, I am so very grateful for their expertise, kindness, and care enough to find a proper solution. Perhaps my sleep "specialist" doctor should take some time and learn from these folks.

I've used Norco for about 6 years after moving to Vancouver. At first I didn't need much help, I…read morehad my CPAP from working with a sleep dr in a different city. This location sent me supplies for the unit whenever I would call and request them. Then at some point around 8 months before I was due for a replacement CPAP machine, (insurance allows a replacement every 5 years), my machine started making loud whining noises that would wake both my husband and me up frequently during the night. I asked for a new machine early and they said they couldn't replace it until the 5 years were up. So I waited and the noise got worse and I tried again. About 2 months before the required 5 years were up I requested that they go ahead and order one, and they said they would and would let me know when it came in. I waited a month, no call, so I called them. They said they had ordered it and should be there in a week and they'll call me back when it comes in. I waited 3 weeks and finally stopped at their store and asked about it. They said it had been there for a few weeks. They didn't let me know because there would have been some money due. When I asked how much it was $8-12. So I paid and got my CPAP and let them know that they should have called me and given me the choice to pay or not. Then 2 years later I was on vacation in Hawaii (May, 2026) and all of a sudden my CPAP quit working. I talked to a technician at Norco who said I needed to bring it in and they could look at it. A week later when I returned home (May 20) I took it in and they said there was nothing they could do except order a replacement. The receptionist said that since I had dropped it, it might not be covered. But I hadn't dropped it and I told her so. At that point she treated me like a criminal who was trying to get away with something and made it clear that this was a "one time courtesy replacement". Today I had my annual checkup with my sleep Dr. and she said that Norco didn't register me as having a replacement machine and that machine was actually assigned to someone else. Also it wasn't set up correctly. So I've changed to a new supplier.

My mom visiting from the Bay Area had a mission and that was to buy as many masks as possible to redistribute back to her friends and Hong Kong. Back in the Bay Area, EVERYWHERE was temporarily sold out. I called prior to coming in and the kind lady said she just got some in stock. My mom managed to get a case of masks and she is now one happy mommy :) I'm amazed at how clean the place was and the great customer service they provided. It was my first time coming in a medical supply place so I had no clue whether I had to be a professional or need any special license. If I ever needed anything medical I'd be sure to come back here again!

I needed a boot for a foot injury, but sadly I had been having trouble with my new insurance company, so while waiting to get my insurance card and make a doctor's appointment, I figured I'd get a boot to alleviate my foot pain. The woman I worked with was incredibly helpful and amazing. She let me try on several boots, and when I decided I didn't one that comes up to your shin, she helped me find an ankle height boot. They didn't have any in stock, so she called four different places around Vancouver (something I was more than happy to do myself). But hey, I won't complain about the extra help! No one around had any, so we looked through catalogs together until I found the right one. She was honest and said it would take a week to arrive, and with foot pain, a week is a long time. She was able to get it express ordered, obviously at an extra fee, but even the extra cost wasn't a lot. They don't bill your insurance anyway, so I was able to get my boot within three days. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend Orion to anyone who needs medical supplies.

They have been my CPAP equipment supplier for a couple of years, and they constantly call, text and hound me to oversell replacement equipment even though I have asked them multiple times to quit doing so. I did order through their representative one time, and instead of one nasal mask, I received 5...which of course my insurance had to pay for...so it wasn't out of my pocket directly but they will send the maximum amount insurance will pay for whether you want it our not. Most recently I went online to order some replacement equipment; which is not an easy site to find our use and I was successful, but over a month later, I still have no equipment and when I go to the order site, it indicates a "pending documentation" status. I've had absolutely no contact from them regarding the need for "pending documentation." I used their online form to write a note regarding the order and when I was done found out they had no "submit" button to send them the message. Enough is enough...time to find a new company for my CPAP supplies!
