Great experience from scheduling through leaving in 20 minutes, prescription in hand. Couldn't be more pleased!

Came in with a sudden onset headache. Was told to go somewhere else and get a Covid test. Horribly unprofessional.

I want a female doctor not a male. Do you have a woman doctor and do you accept Medicare?

Hi Linda - We don't take Medicare. We recommend contacting your insurer, Medicare, to find an in-network doctor.

She has very good bedside manners and sat and took time to ask questions and listen. We never felt rushed. Only disappointment which to me was a big one is that they sent me for blood work. I went the same day (since I lived far) to avoid another trip. After they received results, they notify me that they had forgotten to list 1 other bloodwork test on the script. ("Which that test was needed for the reason I had gone there.") So I had to go back to the clinic for more blood work again and I do not like needles. Was disappointed after such a good experience with the Dr visit. I understand mistakes can happen but you don't expect them at a Dr's visit. Disheartening but I would go back and give them another chance based on the Dr and overall attention experienced.

I called before my appointment specifically to verify that my insurance was accepted and was…read morereassured that I was in network. The very next day, I was told I owed hundreds of dollars because the provider was actually out of network. When I explained that I had called in advance and was explicitly told otherwise, the response I received was shockingly dismissive and condescending: "It doesn't matter," followed by, "You owe this amount, and we don't negotiate." No one should be treated this way, especially when they're already dealing with health concerns. The lack of accountability, compassion, and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. Be sure to verify everything yourself before receiving care--I felt this was a classic bait-and-switch experience.

The clinic and the clinic staff have been fabulous. It's a cold and unfeeling place to be, but it's…read moreno different than any other of the major medical groups in town. Those of us that frequent these types of clinics should know this by now. If you want warmth and cozy place where doctors take pride in the quality of their services, you don't go to this kind of clinic. The major problem that I had was with the provider that I saw, Dr. Heather Bergstrom. I scheduled an appointment with her based on a recommendation from a really good doctor. Dr. Heather Bergstrom however, is not the same caliber of physician by far. I came to see her to get a prescription for anxiety medication. She saw me for 15 minutes, and 10 of those minutes she spent talking to me about my weight and trying to sell me a new fad diet and cholesterol medicine. I'm 25 years old, active, and all of my vitals are well within the margins for me to be considered healthy. I'm used to being up sold at the MAC counter, but not by my doctor. I am overweight, and I've never pretended otherwise. But the problem here, is that I let her know that my weight fluctuates with my anxiety, and she didn't even acknowledge that I had said that. She then proceeded to make it very clear that touching me disgusted her during her exam, and shuffled out of the door as fast as she could. The cherry on top was that she did not write my prescription correctly, and I ended up having to pay twice as much as I should have had to as a result. In short, Dr. Heather Bergstrom is an unfeeling, short-sided, inexperienced doctor who really needs to look outside of her own self, and learn to listen. I'm fine with doctors mentioning my weight. I'm overweight, that's just a fact. But it's not an excuse to treat me like I'm ignorant, or somehow less deserving of being heard and treated fairly. This is an all-to common phenomenon with doctors, and I'm sad that Peacehealth fosters this kind of an environment. No one should have to worry about being bullied by the person who took and oath to be a healer, and takes money in exchange for those services.

I wasn't informed the doctor retired or why I was locked out shortly after. I talked with patient no advocate and was told everything was my fault, my fault the doctor retired, my fault a insulin dependent diabetic couldn't request scripts, my fault I wasn't automatically reassigned a new doctor, I would give a return call if they would just leave who to call and what the call is for (calling a switch board that doesn't know the reason for the call isn't productive)

Let me be very clear: I've been severely ill for over four years, critically ill for the past 10 months, and I am now extremely depressed and suicidal. I told this provider, plainly: "I don't want to live like this anymore." That's not drama. That's my reality. Instead of compassion or concern, she responded with ego and condescension. She acted annoyed by my pain, said I was being rude, and shut down the appointment in less than five minutes. No support. No care. No help. Just dismissal and abandonment. This wasn't a one-off. On a previous visit, she showed zero interest in my complex condition--focused only on my lorazepam prescription--and today she confirmed what I feared: she simply doesn't care. I'm a 100% disabled combat veteran with PTSD, and I was suicidal during that visit. That should have triggered immediate action. Instead, I was treated like a nuisance. To prove my point, she sent the police to my house ¨to check on my well-being¨shortly after leaving the office, an obvious ¨cover-your-ass¨move, not done out of concern or compassion, and further substantiating my account. I filed complaints with Legacy, Medicare, Tricare, and the Washington State Board of Nursing, and I will be disputing any charges for this so-called "appointment." Billing for five minutes of cruelty is not just unethical--it's fraud. Legacy Health completely ignored my complaint and the Washington State Board of Nursing protected their own, go figure, rather than addressing the matter, stating that my complaint was ¨baseless¨, having never contacted me once for clarification. Then, to add insult to injury, I received a registered letter (see photo) accusing me of being "threatening.", a blatant, disgusting fabrication to cover for their shameful behavior. Disgusting human beings, unprofessional behavior ... shame on you! NEXT STEP: Filing a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights. YOU CAN'T DO THAT - complaint filed 6/14/2025. I also filed a MEDICARE FRAUD complaint after Legacy had the balls to bill me for their providers extremely unprofessional behavior. Legacy Health, you failed me--and every veteran who walks through your doors. Your motto should be: "Do no harm ... unless it's a suicidal veteran.¨ CombatCritic gives Legacy Medical Group - Camas 0 Bombs Out Of 10 ... and a permanent place on my WALL OF SHAME™ ...
