Really confused by all the 1-star ratings on here. My wife and I came in for some products (to celebrate anniversary) and the staff were attentive, understanding, and made great recommendations. This store's employees do not care. The young woman running the shop on 12/16/21 was slouched against the counter, offered no help, and acted like I was bothering her to be in the store. This store has gone way down hill. All the employees do is tell you how they can't help you and how the store does t have what you need. They WANT the customer to just leave. You should either be prepared to accept large bills or you should have a notice posted. And, rather than shutting down the customer by saying "oh yeah we tell the management all the time and it does no good," quality customer service would advise "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I will certainly let the management know. Would you like to leave your information for someone to contact you?" Maybe try that next time. Just sayin. read more

Due to the low rating I was skeptical when I went to this location, but it was unfounded. Despite that they were a bit slammed, I was able to get some helpful advice from Iris and they did have the appropriate discounts on my receipt as well. No one was rude and no one was watching me like a hawk to see if I was stealing, as some others have described. Everyone was nice and they had what I needed. read more

This company has 0 system for making sure their BOGO sales are validated and in their computers. I've been in there on 3 separate occasions and unless I am paying attention I ABSOLUTELY get charged and once I've actually had an argument with a cashier over a posted sale. The employees are really nice and helpful but it seems like the manager hates customer service. Whenever I go into this sallys she has the biggest attitude and is really bothered by the fact you asked for help. When she does give you help she speaks to you in a really patronizing tone and is dismissive of your wants. read more

The manager that works here is unbelievably rude. I went in there a couple days ago to buy some teal hair dye. The manager came down the isle I was in and asked if I needed anything. I showed her a picture of the hair that I wanted and asked what color hair dye would be best for it. She rudely fired back and said "That's not going to look good in your hair. You have to bleach it first...". Um... No duh, Einstein. That's not even what I asked in the first place. Even after I told her I know, she just pointed to a stack of Manic Panic and said "Probably one of those colors would work" and then just stood there while I looked through the products and kept asking if I was done yet so she could check me out. The girls always greet me when I walk in the door which is a plus. they are always willing to help me find whatever I need, even though I always get the same hair dye when I go in. They also love when I bring my baby in :) read more

Every person that works here is just plain rude. There is only actually one gal that isn't. they have given me rude and wrong advice as to my hair coloring regimen. I say wrong because it came out ashy muddy green when it was to be brown. I was also told "you made it sound so much worse when you called" regaurding the issue (hello! My fucking hair was a shade of baby shit green! Yeah its bad!) Just because these kids went to a 5,000$ local school doesn't mean shit when it comes to chemistry or art! i love the store but i am sick of getting ripped off here. i feel like i should just walk in and slap $10 down on the counter first thing. not to buy anything, but just for sally beauty to have. 'here ya go. keep up the great work.' uh yeah right. sally has lots of great deals posted all around the store. buy one, get one. buy this, get that. those sort of deals. sweet! well, until you get home and realize that you never got anything free but rather were charged full price on all of it. i went in today to get a refund on these items(and pick up some other things) and was told i would have to come back when a manager was there and i had to bring in the items i bought. really? well i used a couple of the bubble white soaks... so anyway, i say fine and then ask if you must use the coupons or do the sales just ring up correctly? was told that sometimes they ring up right. the thing that gets me, is the customer cannot watch the prices being rang up. this is not comforting because the customer only gets a view of the backside of a computer monitor and has no idea what prices are being rung up until you have paid and you get a receipt. which is what happened once again to me today. i even told the employee that the items were, buy 2 get one free. but when i got home i found that i was charged for all 3 items. so there is another $10.50 sally stole from me. last time it was nearly that much. and i have to wonder about all the other times i shopped at this sally. was i ripped off those times too? with the current track record, i am going to say that it is highly likely that i was. i am putting it down as 'pricey' because it seems i alway pay more than i should have. read more

I am so disappointed. I called Sally's to find out if they carried a product and I was told yes and that there was only 1 left so they would hold it for me. When I got there, after driving 30 minutes one way, they not only they not hold it for me, but the price that was quoted to me of $26.99 was actually $62.99!!! Big difference. I don't like being lied to just to get me in the store. Sadly, I won't be going there again. I gave them 1 star anyway for past experiences. read more

I rarely have need of this type of store and choose Sally's because it was conveniently located. I was very pleasantly surprised and have continued to go back.Each time I have been greeted and asked if I needed help. The staff was knowledgeable and most helpful. I was surprised to hear the poor ratings and I certainly would have asked for a manager and brought that type of poor customer service to someone's attention. As for me - each of my visits has been just fine - actually when I went in today the employee suggested using a coupon I didn't even know was available - pretty nice if you ask me. read more

Horrible place to shop at !!!!! My mother and I went in to look for a seaweed scrub , we asked for help but they did not carry the product . So my mom kept looking for different foot scrubs while I went online looking to see who would sell the product one of the workers stood next to use the whole time to make sure we were not going to steal anything a few minutes later someone walked out and the worker who was standing next to us watching us ran to the door to make sure that person did t steal anything . It made so it uncomfortable to shop at that store , we left the store and didn't buy anything on our way out the manager stopped me at the door I seesr I thought she was going to pat me down . First time I've been to the store and I wanted to be sure to update that I found this Sally's to be nice. One of the two girls working (who works at another store usually) was extremely helpful. she even notified my sister and I that what we were buying for her hair wasn't exactly right. she was patient, pleasant and knew her stuff! plus she even knew the sales that were active that day--which I noticed was a previous complaint. I'm anxious to see how the store is when she's not there. I wish I caught her name and the location she works at usually. read more

Every time you walk into this store, the employees automatically believe you are there to steal from them. They try to act like they want to be helpful, but when I've asked them about information on things I already know, I have actually been lied to about the various products. I feel like they just want to make a sale at any cost and when I have corrected them, they act like it was no big deal they didn't tell the truth about a product. I also think it is so rude that they follow you from the top or bottom of every row. You actually know that they are following you and watching every item you pick up. It makes me feel like I can't touch anything. I hate that kind of shopping. They must really have a problem with theft in this store because you will see the employees ringing up other customers and looking at where you are in the store in the mirrors on the walls. It's creepy and it is really wrong to treat every customer like a thief. I won't go back. Sad thing is, I knew the original owner of that store 15 years ago. She was a great lady and she would have never allowed this awful treatment. read more
