if you're a white person, you'll probably have a better experience here than any poc…read more visited here recently after having them on my radar for awhile, and the it was a unique experience, love the concept, but customer experience wasn't the best. i came in first to an empty store and i was the only customer, then shortly after, a white couple came in. i felt like the shop keeper immediately stopped helping me and diverted all her attention to the couple, mainly focusing on them. she helped them until they had made a purchase and left the store until she went back to helping me (which took awhile, and i felt very neglected). i left with some samples but they're the vial kind without the ability to spray. maybe i should've asked, but i wish they could have warned me before i paid for them. now that i have them, i can't twist the caps off. also reading reviews about how some people received free samples on their first visit but i didn't rubs me the wrong way. possible discrimination maybe? when i called the store to ask if i can bring the vials back and have them help me transfer to a couple atomizers i have at home, they said no. not the best interaction so far. now i have 4 samples i paid for at $6/$8 each that i can't even use. marie-marie downtown gives spray samples and i've always been treated fairly there.

The employees encourage you to smell the samples outdoors too if it is too much indoors which is nice as well. There are rollerballs, and other various sizes which is very helpful in making decisions and how committedyl you want to be to a perfume. Even a sample of the perfume (lasting aboit a week give or take) for $7 which is really nice. I got the Matcha 26 in a sample and really enjoyed the subtlety that builds. The fact that each Le Labo has the personal hand mix lab adds to the personalization.

This has been very helpful in my journey to collect more scents to wear, especially when traveling. You should also have this support! The gentleman helping me really knew his stuff, gave me the rundown and then turned me loose. No hovering, no hard sell, just me sniffing everything, acting like I didn't have good sense. The fragrances are made in house, interesting, unexpected and have their own personality. I left with OLO Violet/Leather and Siela Commune and could have easily done more damage. They offer oils and sprays and can even make certain fragrances into a spray with advance notice. The storefront is only open Thursday through Saturday, which is a little rough for those of us who can develop a perfume emergency at any given moment. There are departmental store like JC Penny, Macy's, Nordstrom and a huge Dick's store. Few other unique places to me were Din Tai Fung and 85C Bakery Cafe. It's popular destination for tourists' shopping since there's no sales tax. The common spaces are wide, clean and have lots of open sky windows. There are plenty of sitting spots available as well for guests. We were in the mall for about 5 hours. We shopped in the Lego store, Tumi, VS, Dick's, 85C Bakery, and BoxLunch. We had friendly interactions from staff members in the all the stores. We also went to the food court on second floor, which was underwhelming compared to rest of the mall. The dining space had old tiles on the floor, the chair and tables were basic ones. There were 10-12 stores available offering a variety of cuisines. The food was decent from couple of stores we tried. Prices were little bit expensive. Overall we had wonderful half day spent shopping and dining at this mall. There was a good mix of popular and luxurious brands, offering wide range of products. The food court could use some facelift to match with rest of the wonderful interior of the mall.
