I love shopping at Marshalls, always very clean, and well organized. I don't have a problem with staff always helpful. Some customers are always a bit nice, however I have had a few pretty awful remarks because my daughter is Special Needs. I think maybe because it is a much smaller city than Seattle, and less educated people. Marshall's is great. read more

As always we love Marshall's. My wife worked for they for several years. They are not the greatest with their employees and they have a terrible problem with theft they they don't do anything about. Other than that this marshals is great. Be aware that they are typically light on men's ware and go through season where merch is a little sparse. read more

This upscale goodwill in a can, the made up return rules they pulled out of their butt is ridiculous. I purchased some $12.99 Tommy Hilfiger sunglasses and one of the ear arm fell off, I had the tag that came with it and the receipt just for one of the snotty cashier women to tell me they can't returned used and then I asked for the manager and this parrot said the same thing, they can't return used things, I get that but they're damaged, less than two weeks old and supposed to be name brand. I want a corporate office to resolve this issue with me and the receipts need to start saying no returns even if they're damaged, I will not be shopping here anymore and I will tell anyone don't buy there unless you have money to waste and ok with broken crap. read more

Drove out to the Vancouver Marshall's now that "my" Marshall's at Lloyd Center closed. Like many of us regulars, I am so bummed. The location at Lloyd made it convenient to do a quick run after the gym in to see what was new, and usually find something I had to have. It always filled the the need for a quick pick me up for under $20. At the Vancouver Marshalls, from the minute I walked in I was super impressed with how clean and organized this store is! I even mentioned this to one of the staff and she seemed surprised that it would be anything other than this way The women's clothing area was pretty much the norm, decent selection of activewear, spring tops, dresses, sweaters and pants. I wanted some new spring activewear tops and found two immediately. A mint green that zipped up for $16.99; and a gray & white thin-striped long sleeve top for $9.99. There was a great selection of pet beds, toys and accessories. Lots of sheets, bedding and pillows in every color. The houseware was on the light side, as was the home decor, although it looked like they were starting to stock up on outdoor patio items. The check out line moved quickly and the service rep was friendly. I showed my OR license to avoid the sales tax, no problem. All and all it was totally worth the 15 minute ride up I5 and across the River. While at the Hazel Dell center, I also stopped at Ross, diagonal from Marshalls, and was equally impressed. read more

I love this store. It's huge and has a great supply of items to choose from. Prices are amazing. I had an outfit I bought at a Marshall's in Arizona that they took back when I decided not to wear it to a wedding. This is a great store, discount prices and loaded with great bargains. read more

The plus size section in this store is a non-existent disappointment. I come here for other things, but love a lot of the tons of clothes, only to have one tiny rack with maybe 10 things in a 2x, all outdated and ugly things I'd never wear. I always check to see if it changed but no. Somehow, most stores have realized their 120 million customers over a size 16 have money that is also green and buyers do better. Not here yet, but I hope that changes. I don't know if that's a Hazel Dell issue or a Marshall's issue. read more

I found four champagne flutes in the store today. They weren't boxed...just sitting on a shelf separately without a price. I asked an associate to research the price and to please set them aside at the register for me. I had guests coming for dinner. She came back to me and said they'd be $3.99 each and they would be at the register when I was ready to check out. After shopping for a bit, I went to make my purchases and was told I could not buy the flutes as they were calling other stores to see what they should charge me. I was assured they'd do their best to get back to me in the next half hour as I'd said I'd be in the area shopping for groceries. Needless to say, a couple hours later, I received a call telling me they'd held the flutes for me but they'd be $19.99 per glass. Really? They went from $3.99 to $19.99? I rarely post negative reviews, but this experience got to me. Don't quote me a price, then refuse to sell the items to me until "further research has been conducted on pricing," and then call me with a price that's more than quadruple the original price I was quoted. read more

Love this location. It's always organized and clean. It's always overstocked and up to date. There is a huge selection and I just think it's one of the best locations I've been to. Staff is friendly. No qualms about it. read more
