On time,, professional, well prepared & a great price. We used them last week to move our daughter from L.A. To S.D. They arrived in L.A. at the time they said they would. The two movers were energetic, willing & with confidence they disassembled the bed. What mostly impressed me was the team work, they communicated very well between them. Back in SD they arrived in what I would definitely say was the appropriate driving time. They unloading and carried everything to the first floor through stairs. We needed all of the furniture in our 3 bedroom condo moved from the third floor into the garage. The furniture is heavy and bulky, the stairwell is narrow with challenging turns. Jordan was amazing to work with! Not only did he contact me while on vacation, but the move was scheduled the very next day. All items were moved, undamaged and staged in my garage for easy removal for our planned estate sale. For the work performed, their rates were very reasonable. I love RIck and his team. I have had them move me (I hate to admit this) but almost every year since 200... I tried another company in between once and regretted it. Won't happen again. Rick has taken care of me. When I see a bad review I think its got to be another Birditt. Moving is not cheap and sure there are some guys who break their backs for you and others who you would rather not have back. But if you ever have a problem Rick takes care of it. My movers have always been early or right on time. I've left stuff on the truck before but they called me and brought it right to me. Stuff happens. It's what the company does to correct it that matters. They ALWAYS work with you and ALWAYS want you to have your stuff moved like it was their own. This last move I used some of their packing services and the guy wrapped each mug with like 3 sheets. Way more than what I would have used, but guess what...not one thing was broken, chipped or cracked. Better than some of the stuff I have packed my self. And no, they did not charge me any crazy fee for the packing materials. I even checked around comparing prices, availability and such and BIRDITT hands down was the best priced, quickest availability and best number of guys!!!!!!! Anyway, I should have written this a long time ago, but finally getting around to it now. I hope to GOD I do not move next year, but if I do, I will call Birditt and Rick will take care of me as usual. read more

My husband and I used Birditt Moving yesterday to help us move from a house in Vista to a 600 square foot apartment in Poway. Everything from my husbands initial phone call inquiry to completing the move was fantastic. We've never used movers before but are now going to be Birditt customers for life! Dominic, Zack and Rich worked quickly and efficiently from the start and had our house loaded and on the way to the new apartment in about an hour, we just pointed at what we were taking and they knew exactly how to handle and pack everything safely. They also disassembled our bed quickly, provided free wardrobe boxes for the move and wrapped our dressers so we didn't have to worry about packing and unpacking all of our clothes. When we got to our new apartment they helped us figure out the logistics to ensure all of furniture would fit in our small new bedroom and quickly reassembled our bed while simultaneously unloading the truck and ensuring nothing was damaged or scratched. The best part about them was that they were so positive the entire time, even with having to get everything up to the second floor on a very hot day in Poway where it was definitely 90+ outside. In total they got us packed, moved and everything into our new place in about 3 1/2 hours which is exactly what we hoped for. We will definitely use them for all future moves and recommend to any friends and family looking for help, thanks again guys you are the best! read more

One week after our move date, (almost) all our items were safely transferred across town from a moving pod to our garage. If "all's well that ends well," this place would get 4 stars as the movers were careful, courteous, and efficient. Problems with the move included: - Mover showing up 40 mins late for the move time - Only 1 mover arrived for loading instead of 2 - 3 of our items left on the truck during unloading - Had to call in a week later during unpacking to find they had the missing items - Still missing 1 of the items... For our troubles, we were "charged the minimum" 3 hour job. The move lasted from 9:45am to 11:50am. Go figure. read more

Rick's team was fantastic. They called before they arrived, earlier than promised and were very quick and careful with everything. We asked them to pickup from 1 location and then spread the delivery to 3 others, they got everything to the right place as well as doing some extra shuffling to storage. The price was more than reasonable considering everything we had them do. If we need moving services in the future we will definitely call on them again. read more

Rick and his team were fantastic. Ours is a temporary move, so some items went to our new apartment, some to the garage, and they got everything right. They went above and beyond protecting the items in the garage with blankets and plastic covering. They moved some large pieces into tight spaces, getting furniture around corners without damaging the furniture or the walls. All the guys were polite and professional. Highly recommend. read more

I hired Dominic's team to help me move houses, when I first contacted him he answered me the same day, which I appreciated he delivered great customer service. The day of the moving he contacted me to let me know everything was in order and told me the time frame they would be arriving, at the time of the moving him and his team made sure to do everything in order since the beginning he was extremely professional and communicated everything just to make sure everything was running smoothly. If you are looking for a moving company that ensures peace of mind and excellent customer service, Dominic and his crew are who you need to go with. I have had horrible experiences with moving companies in the past so I was nervous to do it again. However I didn't have anyone to help me move a few months back and I had to be out of my house ASAP. A co worker of mine recommended him specifically. I spoke with Dominic on the phone and he went out of his way to accommodate my frantic need to move even though it wasn't the most convenient for him. From the time Dominic and his team got to my place, they were professional, respectful, and incredibly efficient. All of my belongings arrived safely and in perfect condition which is something that isn't very common with moving! I would recommend Dominic and his team to anyone in a heartbeat. 10/10 read more
