STAY AWAY!!! Had an appointment scheduled for 5pm, after waiting for 20 mins and no word from them, not even a "Hey, we're running a little late", I gave them a call. Jonny said he would contact his guys and call me back within 10 minutes, 30 minutes later still nothing... Had to call him back again. He was always polite, but super unprofessional. Said he was talking to them but got cut off, couldn't really give me a time they would be there but kept promising they would be. He eventually calls me back again saying he finally talked to them and that the last job was running a little longer than expected but they would be there by 7. Okay, fine, that sucks but it's understandable. 7:18 rolls around still NOTHING. So I call again. He says he'll call them and find out where they are and call me in a couple minutes. And again don't get a call back. This happens a few more times and he says they won't answer there phones. This is getting ridiculous. Finally at 8pm I call to ask if they are even coming at all, I was about to give up but he assures me 100% they will be there and this was the only time I was able to move for the next couple of weeks so I regrettably agreed to continue waiting. FINALLY, at 9:18pm they pull up. After we had sat around waiting for them for OVER FOUR HOURS. I will give the movers credit for how hard they worked, but they messed up a lot of my furniture. I do have a large couch that I was okay with being forced through small doorways as I knew this was the hardest piece to move (this was really the only reason I hired "professional" movers in the first place), but the rest of my furniture there should be no excuse for. They scratched my TV stand and bent the hinges on the door so it now hangs crooked and put a gash in my dresser. Things that could have been quietly and carefully carried down the small flight of stairs at my new complex (like my dresser) were instead put on dolly and VERY LOUDY dragged and banged down the stairs one man at a time after 10pm at night. Sorry new neighbors. I was moving out of a studio so the move only took a little over an hour, but they still enforced the 2 hour minimum after showing up over 4 hours late and f*cking up my furniture. Unfortunately, they only take cash (again, super professional business), so I can't even attempt to get a refund. I feel like an idiot for paying full price and tipping them. At first, I didn't want to fault the workers as they were hard working and it just seemed like a MAJOR scheduling error, but after the damage to my furniture this business as a whole deserves negative stars. tl;dr: STAY AWAY! I just spoke to Johnny who seems to be their head manger on the phone he is was by the far the most disrespectful supervisor I ever spoke to. Not only did he hang up the phone on my girlfriend when she called to tell him his movers were 5 hours late but then hung up on me telling he will "cancel the move if I don't get the fuck off his back" for them being so late. If you fall for that, like I did, you will end up calling someone else to help you with moving in the last minute and pay twice for the last minute service. I had my booking for sat morning and Jonny does not answer calls from friday evening, Friday night his voicemail box was full. Sat morning his phone will not accept any new calls. BIGGEST SCAM OF YOUR LIFE...DO THESE PEOPLE EVEN EXIST???? I booked weeks in advance to make sure they would show up and the day comes and they are supposed to come around 5pm....30 minutes pass and no one is there. All I have to say is wow!! Wow!! I never knew I could be excited about a moving company! What an easy easy process with an awesome owner to work with. Quoted me a very very overly reasonable price and rocked it out the minute he showed up to the house with his employee. He insisted on shrink wrapping everything and started rocking it out in a fast fast pace. It took 4 hours total and he kept the price at the same exact original quote ( though it took longer than I had originally told him ) he is super accommodating, professional and a super hard worker. Jonny will always be my " go to" for any type of move I ever do. Seriously impressed especially when he started running at some point lol!! Wow! Jonny is a rock star!!!! Jonny and his crew moved us last minute and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. He was on time, packed everything and got us moved. Not only was it fantastic customer service but he was very careful with our stuff (like it was his own). Honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience moving. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PHONY MOVERS!!! They left me high and dry. Never showed up, never called, never text and a week later still no word. I confirmed my appointment several times including the day of and was in communication with them for weeks before. This is not a legit business. I would not trust a single review about this Jonny guy. It has to be made up. This is what I get for going with the cheapest guy who does every thing over text message. Do yourself a favor and pay just a little more and get someone you can trust. I was left with a truck full of stuff and was so fortunate I had a friend come help me for the entire day. So i had previously used this company and it was amazing. However today they faild me. They were supposed to be at my house at 12 for a move. Guess what time they came guys. 4 in the afternoon. When i called the owner of the company about what they were going to do about the tardiness he hung up on me. My boyfriend called back and began to ask the manager about the tardiness. The manager called off our move. The reason was because apparently we were threatening. No one threatened them. We just wanted at the least a discount because of the tardiness. My first review so here it goes. I got denied by 6 other moving companies before Nominal took the job for a next day move on a Weekend. I was a little skeptical when Johnny said just to txt him to confirm for Saturday, he did reply to confirm . This was going to be an evening move(6pm) since I called so last minute. Johnny already informed me that depending on how the days goes they can run a little late or early but I was fine with it. So before 6 the driver called me and said they're running a little late from a previous job which is totally understandable and I appreciate the call. They showed up at 7ish and I showed them what's going and what's staying. Two guys , Chris and Vince were very polite, professional. Was done in 2.5hrs. Their communication was excellent, they were on time, took their time and I was very impressed. They took apart furniture, wrapped everything and put things back together. I have never had any movers offer to do this. Their fee was awesome and again, took their time to ensure my experience was right on. I booked my appointment to move the night before moving (the previous movers were very unresponsive so I had to cancel) and they were able to squeeze me in with no problem. If I could give them 10 stars I would... Ok 9, only because they were scheduled to be at my place by 5pm and they arrived at 8pm. BUT, that was not their fault, the person they moved prior to me did not mention how much she had so it set them back. And Jonny made sure to call me and tell me he was running late. When they did finally arrive Jonny and Chris hauled a**!!! My storage closed at 10 pm so we had 2 hours to load, drive, unload. They were nothing but professional. Handled all my things with care. And kept going even though it was late and I'm sure they were tired. We arrived at the storage 5 minutes prior to closing. They offered to unload, take the truck out, and load up my storage. The way they packed my storage deserves another 10 stars!!! I was moving a 1 bedroom into a 5x10 unit (that I didn't care to see before renting, oops). They filled it perfectly! They managed to fill every nook and space with all my crap. Ugh, seriously, I have no idea what I would have done if it weren't for these two. read more
