I ended up going to the Spokane Night Market, where they had a small truck available for their pies, so I decided to give it a try. When trying to find the flavors, you have to ask the employee what the flavors are because there isn't a list anywhere. I really recommend having a list because it made me unsure of what items to get so I just picked my favorite pies. I ended up getting the coconut cream pie, and the key lime pie. These are my all time favorite pies and these were so delicious. The crust was buttery and delicious, and the filling was just perfect. I don't know which one is my favorite! I would return again but I would appreciate the list of flavors so it's easier to pick. read more

We've gone here a few times. The pies are incredible as are the meals they make. I didn't even realize they did the latter until I saw a social media post on it. The Mac and cheese pulled pork is so, so good. A box of four personal sized ones is more than enough for a couple of meals. Of course the pies here are just awesome. We've not had a bad one yet. We typically go for the personal sized variety so we can try 4 different types each time. They are always so flavorful, while not being overly rich. We've also been impressed with the staff. They have always been friendly and ready to answer any question you might have. Definitely worth a try. The only downside is that parking is a bit of a chore. The lot on the north side of the store is owned by other companies and are not down with you parking there. read more

I bought a chocolate pie and a lemon meringue pie with strawberry topping. Both were delicious. All our guests enjoyed it. For me, overly sweet. I was only able to take a couple bites. It's a good thing they also offer cupcake size servings so I will be back to sample the others. Service was friendly and helpful and the ambiance is calming. read more

This is a cute pie shop snuggled on a busy street. The minute you walk in you're melt with the smell of freshly baked pies. Their menu isn't super extensive but everything looked delicious! I love how they have different sizes of pies you could order from a full size, a personal size or a bite size, this allowed me to try multiple flavors. I ordered 4 bite size pies, pecan pie, key lime pie, triple chocolate and apple pie. My favorite was the key lime pie, it was perfectly tart with coconut flakes in the crust. Apple pie was my runner up, they recommended us to heat it up in the oven prior to eating but I was a bit too excited to eat it. Despite not heating it up it was still fantastic packed with apples and not too sweet. The triple chocolate came in 3rd it is very chocolate-y if you're a chocolate lover I highly recommended it! Last but not least pecan pie, this was very disappointing as it was very dry but packed with pecans and not too sweet. This was recommended to also be heated prior to eating which was omitted, but I'll definitely get it again to try it heated. Overall this place has very delicious pies with a variety of flavors I would definitely come back here again! I've been to Birdies twice now and they're quite good pies but not something I'd get often. The ingredients are high quality and sometimes local (huckleberries etc) they're just a bit too sweet for my taste. Their price point is a bit steep but when you remember that these are homemade pies with great ingredients it absolutely makes sense! I meant to do their first review shortly after they opened but I thought I should give them a second taste. The service has been okay for me each time and I think it's a bit loud in there so if you have a soft voice make sure to speak up. I do wish they had plates for customers who want to eat their pies there but the boxes work pretty well. There's a lot of seating so dont be shy about sitting down for a bite. read more

This was our first time here. We heard all the rave reviews about Birdie's Pie Shop and we had to try it. We just happened to drive by and there was no line so we swung in quickly. There were still lots of pies to choose from but we didn't know what we wanted so we got an assortment. Eight pies for $18. We got a variety of pecan pie, apple pie, berry pie, chocolate silk pie and lime pie. All were delicious and had great crusts but we loved the chocolate cream pie and the lime pie. They were fantastic! They were also little enough for us to have a good taste but not too much where you couldn't finish it. We can't wait to go back and try different flavors. read more

Can't say enough about this pie shop as I have been telling so many people about this little local gem!! I've been able to try some of their different pies (sweet only...however, they have savory too) I've had their triple berry pie, their apple pie, their chocolate cream pie, and their seasonal pineapple cream pie...ughhhh the last one is THE WINNER!!! Please make that that pineapple cream pie permanent on the menu...it's soooo freaking good!!! The ladies working there were very helpful in helping me choose some goodies, and next time I was told to try their chicken pot pie and their meatloaf pie. One of a kind! Birdies is so so special. I've ordered special orders, and walked in and got the goods many times. I always get the personal size or make it a quad personal for special occasions and events. I use to go to Post falls but not I don't have to as there is the Spokane location! Both shops are so cute! I love all of the pies I've tried, candy topped, berry creams, key lime, chocolate but our all time favorite so far is the coconut cream! Birdies is an absolute gem of Inland NW! My wife went in and got me a small eggnog pie. IT WAS BEYOND AMAZING. Crisp crust and the filling was spot on. The eggnog flavor was not overpowering or even strong, it was just "enough". Delicious I was craving a key lime pie and only wanted a single serving size so I could get rid of the craving. I was in and out within minutes no line and was greeted as soon as I walked it. The apple pie y'all! The crust is perfect and insanely good. There is a sticky, crunchy, sweet cinnamon topping - chef's kiss - and it was packed with apple filling. So, so, so good. Best pie crust EVER! Super great pies. Friendly people. I DO NOT understand, though, why they don't have a menu, or description of their pies, or even have the pies labeled. The person at the register has to come around for each person and tell them what each pie is. . . Label the pies or have a menu and it'll be 5 stars. Our order: 4 - 5" pies (2 Chicken, 1 Raspberry Lemon, 1 Key Lime). The Chicken pie has good flavor, ingredients, and seasoning but was way too salty (and I like salt). The Raspberry Lemon cream sounds better than it actually tasted. It was just way too sweet compared to the Key Lime, and the graham crust was way too thick. I don't know how they determine how much crust is included in each pie but the crust was about half the thickness of the pie. It was just too much that I didn't even finish it. Also, we got there right as the store opened at 10am, no line, and they didn't have all their pies ready so we had to wait 15 minutes for 2 pies only to have one of the other employees come up and ask if we were waiting on something. Luckily, she promptly came back with the pies we ordered. Overall, I like their flavor options and that their menu is pretty simple and straightforward but maybe less salt in the savory and less sugar in the sweet pies. Also, have your product ready so your customers don't have to wait on something that should be ready when you open, especially when you aren't busy. We didn't order anything off the menu that would've required waiting 15 minutes. Lastly, upon paying for our pies we were informed that you do no accept cash. While I understand and appreciate why this is the case, it would've been nice if you had a sign up on your door, or somewhere equally visible, to let your customers know ahead of time so they can be better prepared. read more

Birdies is great. Love the chicken pot pie, and berry pie. My one annoyance is nothing in the case is labeled and no descriptions which means waiting for someone to explain what things are, slowing down the line, it's so inefficient.
