We ordered a bit of everything as we read the reviews and FOMO kicked in while reading the menu. We ordered: Fries Pork lo mein Steak fried rice 20 wings with three different sauces: mild buffalo, sticky Asian , and the Joe's spicy lemon-pepper. We also ordered draft beers to wash it all down. The fries came out...nice and crispy with great seasoning. The draft beers are super cold and fresh. The steak fried rice is excellent...a touch of garlic on the super tender steak and the rice is cooked perfectly The pork noodles followed and are delightful and full of flavor. The wings came out next and the buffalo and sticky Asian are nice size wings and really amazing to taste. Joe's lemon pepper options is a dry rub on wings that you can hear the crunch when you bite down. A pop of lemon with a back end of spice in pepper. I leave 5 star reviews but this place has me wishing there was a 6th star available as an option. All this almost made me forgo complement the excellent service we received from Ireland and Chris. The portions are huge, the service is over the top, and this is truly the best wings and Asian food I can remember enjoying in many, many years.

I ordered the spicy half chicken with creamy corn, white cheddar mac & cheese, biscuit, Mike's sauce and ranch. I also tried the Mike's sandwich with fries and added cheese, plus the 4-piece spicy chicken tenders with fries, mac & cheese, biscuit and Mike's Buffalo sauce. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside, and I really liked that it was served fresh and hot. They cook the chicken to order, so it took around 25 minutes for our food to be ready. Honestly, I don't mind waiting a little when the chicken is freshly cooked. The creamy corn and white cheddar mac & cheese were good, and the biscuit was fresh. I also liked the sauces, especially Mike's sauce. The tenders were crispy without being overly greasy. The only things I think they could improve are the fries, which were a little soggy, and the fountain drinks are quite expensive for a casual chicken place. Overall, Mike's Chicken is definitely a good halal option around Plano/Richardson. Fresh, crispy and flavorful chicken, with a good variety of sides and sauces.

Good tasting chicken and the sides are OK too. I highly recommend this place wonderful atmosphere.read more

Since we were closer to the McKinney location near Highway 75, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different. The chicken breast was so dry that I genuinely struggled to eat it. As a grown man, it's been a long time since I've come close to choking on food, but I actually had to spit the chicken back into the box because it was that dry. To the manager's credit, she handled the situation professionally and graciously offered to replace the meal with a fresh box of chicken. Unfortunately, the replacement was no better. The chicken was hot and clearly fresh, but it was just as dry as the first order. I appreciate the manager's effort to make things right, but the food quality was disappointing enough that I won't be returning to this location. If you're used to the quality at the Plano restaurant, don't assume you'll get the same experience here.

I ordered the red velvet waffle with bourbon cream cheese and vanilla drizzle, plus three lemon pepper wings with sweet honey sauce. Let's start with the waffle. It was just okay for me. It didn't really give "red velvet" flavor like I expected. However, that bourbon cream cheese? 10/10. Easily the best part of the meal. Smooth, flavorful, and it definitely elevated the waffle more than the waffle did itself. Now the wings. They were jumbo wings (which I don't normally go for), and they were almost a burnt crispy and hard to pull apart. I ordered lemon pepper with sweet honey sauce, but I didn't receive the sweet honey sauce. As someone from the South who takes chicken seriously, I was hoping for bold lemon pepper flavor throughout. Unfortunately, most of the seasoning seemed to stay on the outside, and the actual chicken inside was very bland. I'm a big chicken fan, so it was disappointing that I couldn't even finish them. Overall, I was really looking forward to trying this place, but based on this experience, it just wasn't for me. This is only my personal opinion and experience and I was disappointed and wasted money.

On May 13th 2026 my wife and I came to get dinner and we decided to order the Wednesday night $10…read morespecial which was 10 wings. The young man, Kevin, who worked at the window pretty much called me a lie and said that there's no such thing as a $10 special. Here's the kicker we was just there Monday at me and my wife did the $10 special that night so I had to get out the car go in and try to explain to him that it's a $10 special and he kept saying we don't have a 10 hour special. You need to order something else. Attitude is wrong and disrespectful. the manager did not correct it Friday night got off work late which is May 15, 2026 and approximately 9:30 PM, which Jamaica order again this time I ordered a number 325 and two breast and I usually ask instead of making all of them original just do half-and-half. He was so confused as to what I asked for he copped an attitude and says sir is four pieces. I said I know this four pieces I want two of them original and two of them crispy. He wanted to make the meal his way so I just said make everything original then I asked for the Friday night special. He knew what the Friday night special was when I got to the window and everything I checked my receipt. He had the order wrong then when I told him about it in a nice way, he copped another Attitude now I don't know what is Kevin's problem who he works at the window, but this is not good customer service I stopped going to the other restaurant here in mechanic cause I moved near this area, but I don't mind going somewhere else where I am respected my money spins wherever I decide to spend it, but y'all need to have training and coaching for this young man because he's not gonna make it in life having a blowoff attitude and don't let me forget this that Wednesday night when I had to get out the drive-through and going to the building to try to order right the dishwasher came from behind The trying to tell me that I need to order stuff online and that's the only way I can get the specials which you don't even know how to run the system. I wish you guys would really fix this and fix it fast because this is very disrespectful. Kevin need to be reprimanded and talk how to react towards people and not have a rotten disrespectful attitude. Last thing that really disrespected me when he told me the price, I handed him my credit card and this she smashed the cord out of my hand and then balled up the receipt with the card and the straw and just shove it back towards me now I spend too much money at KFC to get disrespected by a kid and then the manager tried to justify his actions. That's not right that's not policy.
