All I got was a string of excuses ... my truck broke, I have to get tested for Covid, someone else more important took precedence (the poor schoolchildren). This went on for 5 weeks - full disclosure, I also had to reschedule once due to emergency/unexpected eye surgery. Still not sure why he would drag things out like this with a constant string of excuses and rescheduling, I have to say it has been a very frustrating experience, and a big time waster! But I should have known, from my earlier experiences! Giving this 1 star only one - although he is a nice guy, and does a good job (if he ever does show up) he is completely unreliable!

We've had this company come out on and off over the last 9 years that we've lived in Gilbert.  I…read moreremember one particular year we paid for the annual service and they came back several times to solve one particular issue in the house.  The technician was very tenacious about solving the problem (the repeat visits were all free during that year) so I always respected the company for that and felt they were very honest.  I don't mind paying for quality work. We once even had a very expensive treatment that I want to say cost $1000 or or so for a trench around the house.   But come this recent issue we've had I just feel I'm being hit with the "caught living in Gilbert tax."  Just because I live in Gilbert doesn't mean I'm a CEO and loaded.  I'm well below the median and just can't afford this company any more.  They didn't seem to care about loyalty on our part coming to them year after year. I don't like that they aren't open on weekends so guess what?  Someone is taking time off work (burning vacation time, yay!) to meet with the tech.  The tech came out looked at the problem spot we wanted treated and offered $350 with no warranty just to treat one spot.  Didn't do anywhere near the inspection I expected (and another company had just provided that we didn't know from Adam). I can go to Bug and Weed Mart and buy what I need for a fraction of that cost and have no warranty doing the work myself.  It's not hard to dig or drill a hole. We called another company and their quote to treat the ENTIRE property WITH A WARRANTY was only $150 more.  Guess what we did next?  We went with the new company. If money is no object and you're aren't concerned with receiving a complete inspection when they come out then go with this company.  If you want to shop around there are other equally good (or better) companies with a much more competitive price.

They are clearly…read morevery passionate about what they do, knowledgeable (and eager to share that knowledge), and extremely professional. I had called for a scorpion and spider problem and was pleased to hear a friendly voice on the other line. It was very easy to schedule an appointment; Jason arrived on time and even called me a few minutes before his arrival to make sure I was still available at our scheduled time. He asked for a tour of the inside and outside, and really wanted to know what I was seeing/where I was seeing it. I could tell he really wanted to SOLVE the problem, not just come out and do a quick spray. Not only did he treat for scorpions and spiders, he treated for EVERY pest I might come across. He sprayed inside and outside, even along the fences of our yard, used dusting for our windows/doors/even the wall outlets, dewebbed any visible spider webs both inside and outside, and even set traps near our doors for the critters that end up dying from the spray. He even went so far as to take apart my couch to spray for what he thought could be carpet beetles, because I told him I get itchy on our couch sometimes. He inspected it closely for bed bugs or other critters and (thank goodness) didn't find any, but did a very detailed cleaning spray along every edge of our couch to be safe. The Hollywood Bug Guys did SO much more than I was expecting, but never upsold or pressured me into buying anything extra. They really went above and beyond what I expected and kept me informed every step of the way. They used shoe booties and gloves to keep my house clean and picked up after themselves on the way out by putting everything back how they had found it. I really appreciate those extra touches and the extraordinary customer service they provide! They offer one-time services as well as repeat packages. I highly recommend you call them for any pest control needs you have!
