I miss having Chinese fast food in Toronto. Today was the soft opening and love the idea of a boarding pass ticket to place your order. As I am sure many people miss travelling as much as I do. The crispy burger was crispy and different layers and textures. The flavour itself relies heavily on the meat inside as the pastry doesn't have much flavour. The black pepper beef crispy burger tasted pretty good with the beef and mushroom inside. I order the signature one too, but I prefer beef over pork and the spice. The hot and sour glass noodles was pretty similar to many different noodle shop around Yonge and Finch area. I did like the wonton though, the flavour was good and not too small nor big, just right in terms of the fillings. Location/Service This place is located right in First Markham Place - not inside the mall, but along outside near Katsuya/Owl Korean Restaurant. Plenty of parking available within the plaza, although it gets very busy during peak hours. The restaurant is pretty big. At the time I went, there were limited indoor seating - and it's setup primarily as a fast food buy-and-take-out style. I like their use of the red/white colours, very bright and warm. Staff were nice and the order came pretty quick. Food I went in when they first opened, so it was very busy with the lines. They have a series of burger, side and noodles to choose from. It's my first time so I just tired their Signature Burger and a Plum Cold Brew. The burger itself was pretty bland and plain. It's interesting that they don't use the traditional type of buns and more focus on the Chinese ingredient setup, but it was dry when you eat it with the meat. The meat quantity were in chunks, so it can get messy as you eat - but it's not superb in flavour or saucy. The plum cold brew was really enjoyable. It was a bit sour but very refreshing - perfect for a sunny/warm day. I liked this a lot more than the actual food. Overall this place wasn't that impressive to me to start. First time at bingz and this place is amazing! Super popular Beijing eats, this is their first location in Toronto. Their menu is small and straightforward and they also offer combos/individual orders. Their crispy burgers are deliciously fresh, crispy and they are pretty generous with their filling. They offer other small eats like savory tofu pudding, mini wontons and liangpi (cold skin flat noodles) - spicy or sesame oil. We ordered the signature combo with savory tofu which came with their signature bingz and a fountain drink of choice. Also ordered the chili oil wontons on its own as I love wontons. My friend ordered the cumin pork bingz and chili oil liangpi to share. The filling in the signature bingz was great, I thought it needed a bit more seasoning, couldn't really taste what exactly it was, also probably cause I ate a chili oil wonton so all I could taste was spice. The cumin pork was delicious, probably my favourite so far as it tasted similar to a lamb skewer at the night market. The savory tofu pudding was interesting, I usually eat mine sweet like a dessert but this one was pretty good. Could taste the soya sauce, cilantro and i think there was crushed peanuts? (I could be wrong) but overall it was pretty good. The liangpi was the highlight aside from the bingz, I love liangpi and I wish there was more as the portion was slightly small or I could just be super hungry. Normally I'm not the type to lineup for a soft opening... but my friend really wanted to try this so I decided to join the band wagon We went about 30 mins before the store opened and we're 11th and 12th in line! The wait wasn't too bad since we were at the front of the line but I was able to get a chance to try a few of everything! Each person was allowed to get up to 6 items, so I ended up trying: 3 burgers: The original - loved this. Perfect for those who like pork and don't like spicy. You can def taste the complexity of seasoning in the meat! Pepper steak - I liked it, but it wasn't as good as I had hyped it up in my head. It was super heavy in black pepper. Perhaps a bit too much coz then I couldn't enjoy the taste of the beef as much. Cumin Pork - loved this! With the hint of spice, I personally like spicy so I did prefer this a bit over the original, but honestly both were really good. Then the sides: Fries - must try. MUST TRY. I'm serious. The seasoning was spectacular and so flavourful and spicy Liangpi with sesame sauce - unfortunately they did not have the chili oil sauce available. The sesame sauce came with some chili oil so I used both - delicious!! Loved the texture of the cold noodles Wonton soup - really good! To be honest, I think bingz is good but not as amazing as the locals claim. Noodles are well cooked, not overly chewy nor sticky. The sauce is average, provides a good balance of sweet savoury and spicy. That being said I do find it to be average, with a handful of cucumbers and other items to balance it out. Chili oil is good but can be more fragrant to my liking. Corn soup/drink was diluted quite watery in consistency too when I had it. the burger was quite delicious I would say. the burger bun wasn't overly oily and had a nice crispy texture. filling was decent in portion, nicely seasoned meat. overall a good snack or meal on the go. read more

I saw so many people post this on social media and wanted to give it a try. I didn't find anything special about this place and thought it's a bit pricey for a fast food place - combo ranges from $13-17. I went on a weekday afternoon, it was about a 15minute wait. There's only a line outside because they follow COVID protocol very well. The interior design and space totally give off a fun fast food vibes. After ordering, our food was ready within minutes. The staff was also very friendly. The burger is unique but I wasn't a huge fan of the meat inside. The liangpi and wonton soup was good, but nothing special. The fries taste very similar to Flaming Kitchen, and they give you a container of spices/msg to mix it in. My favourite part of the meal was the soy milk. I was so thirsty the whole afternoon after eating this. Seeing how majority of my meal was so salty, I am guessing it might be heavily seasoned with msg. In the colder months, the Creamy Corn Milk is my go to with the meal; I don't know where else I can get anything like it. The service is standard for a place where you order at the cash at the few locations I've visited; they are often prompt and quick with getting the order put in. They asked what free drink I wanted but he was speaking so fast in English, I had to ask him to repeat 3 times but still didn't understand what he was saying, so I paid extra for the plum drink. Saw this place popping on Instagram and knew I had to give it a try when I'm in the area. I was super excited as I heard great things and I'm in love with their branding and packaging. We got there Saturday evening and there was a line of about 6 people in front and quite a line of people waiting for their food. The music in the store was quite loud so it was hard to order but nonetheless I got the Signature bun and the Liangpi with sesame sauce. We waited for about 15 to 20 minutes to get our food. The outside of the bun was super crispy and flaky however it was kind of underwhelming. There really wasn't much flavor to it and I would have appreciated if it came with a dipping sauce but I'd understand if that is not how it's traditionally eaten. All of the fatty pieces of the meat fell to the bottom so the top part was quite dry. The Liangpi noodles were quite good with the sauce. I really like the bouncy texture of the noodles, but thought that the portion was quite small for the price. Though the cucumber pieces added a nice crunch. A new dining experience in First Markham Place!! Fast food chain kind of place where you place your order, pick it up and enjoy! We picked the combo which has a burger, liangpi (Chinese cold noodle) and a drink. If you pay a buck or two extra, you can change your drink from pop to red dates soy milk or Chinese carbonated drink. The Signature burger was crispy and flaky, lots of meat. Perfectly portioned. Just wished the pork may have a little bit more seasoning as it reminded me of those leftover pork in Chinese pork bone soup. The sauces for the liangpi were put on the side for you to add yourself to avoid getting soggy. Unfortunately you have to play hide and seek with the flavour. Even with the sesame and chili oil, it just wasn't enough to bring out the flaovur. The red dates soy milk IS A MUST ORDER. Never have I had such rich soy milk before, as if I was being wrapped in a warm cozy blanket every sip I take. The natural sweetness from the dates was the only source of sugar in it therefore it's not too sweet. Really wish I can indulge this baby everyday!!! Only warning... Bingz is a great spot for a fast, cheap, and delicious meal. Apparently this is a very popular chain in Beijing, so I'm glad it has made its way over to Toronto. The inside is super clean and modern compared to traditional fast food choices. Service at the counter is quick and friendly. The food itself is delicious. My personal go-to is their delicious "The Signature" Pork Roujiamo, which has a crispy and flaky ""bun"" and large portions of juicy moist well-seasoned pork. Despite seeing long lines at FMP, I would highly suggest visiting Bingz or at least giving them a try once! Being a famous chain in Beijing, they opened their first North American location in Markham! They offer a variety of their signature flakey Chinese burgers, as well as noodles, wonton etc on their menu. We decided to order their Signature Burger, and wow, it definitely lives up to the expectations. I fell in love with the crispy and flakiness of the buns, and the taste of the pork inside. They're not stingy as the pork filled up a majority of the burger , and I even had leftover pieces that fell into the bag. I recommend coming on the weekdays or when the weather isn't great, as the weekends can get busy. I have been here quite a few times. A few things to consider, the burger is very flavourful and incredibly delicious. Their fries are a staple, must try especially their powder shake. I tried the cold skin noodles (liangpi) and it was quite tasty. The service was quite friendly. In fact, today was the first day where an employee asked about their service. Very professional. Just WOW. The overall atmosphere is just very modern and clean. The colours and seating make it almost exciting to be there. The staff members are all so nice and respectful too, and on top of that they are all super efficient and your orders come out really fast. In terms of the pricing, I CANNOT BELIVE HOW AFFORDABLE IT IS. I have been to restaurants that serve very similar dishes for double the price, and the food at Bingz tastes better too. The one thing I will say is that you have to eat it right away or within the first 20-30 minutes. I highly suggest eating there are going to a nearby park to eat it if you live farther away. We were in line for just over an hour. The wait was worth it though - everything we had was SO GOOD!!! We got The Original burger, Liangpi With Sesame Sauce and the Plum Cold Brew, all of which surpassed expectations. "The Original" burger may come across as plain at first but when you bite into it, it is anything but. The pork hock filling was so flavourful in its seasoning! The bread was perfectly crispy and complimented the pork filling really well. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that it is not super greasy either. A lot of rou jia mou tend to be greasy but this one wasn't at all! The LiangPi With Sesame was a refreshing contrast to The Original burger. All the ingredients were super fresh and there was a perfect amount of sauces provided. I've never had Plum Cold Brew before so I was curious as to how it would taste. Let me say that it is now one of my favourite cold beverages. I would say that the taste reminded me of a Nestea/a bit like a Sprite as well but with elevated, floral notes to it. What's unique about the Plum Cold Brew is that it is a centuries old drink dating back to the 1600s! It's also really refreshing and is good to have after having spicy, "hot" foods (if you know you know). It's wonderful to see a Chinese-based fast food restaurant chain expand over in Canada! They only allowed one client at a time , you can ask the staffs for questions about the foods/order while you are waiting outside to get in , due to lots of orders , we can either order 6 burgers or two combo each time ! We have ordered two combo- black pepper beef and the signature pork ! The bun is taste like phyllo, very crispy ! Combs comes in hot and spicy grass noodle or wontons and soy bean drink ! This extremely popular street food, also called rou jia mo has a crispy and flaky pastry which ressembles phyllo pastry shell. Personally, I wish there was more filling and meat inside the burger. I felt that every bite had more pastry than the meat. Featured in the Picture: The Signature - The filling was both fresh and tender with all the different spices. However, it could have used more sauce and meat as it was a little underwhelming considering it is their signature. Black Pepper Beef - This crispy bing had beef and oyster mushrooms. I think the flavour of this bing was the most flavourful and powerful! My friend thought it was spicy, so if you typically don't like black pepper, DONT get this bing. Cumin Pork - Inside the cumin pork burger was green peppers, carrots and the pork loin itself. Personally, this was my favourite as it was both juicy and delivious. The cumin was not too overwhelming. Liangpi with Sesame Sauce - This noodles were cooked to perfection! It was both bouncy and chewy which is all you ever want in noodles. Everything about this place is SOO GOOD! The food reminds me of my trips to China when I was younger and just bring back so many good memories :) The buns are super flaky and thin so the filling is the star of the show - the various fillings are so different but have very authentic chinese spices that make it taste amazing. The plum comd brew is definitely an acquired taste and not my fave, but the LIANGPI IS AMAZING 10/10! The noodles are perfectly chewy and the sesame sauce paired with the chili oil was so good. The staff are also super friendly and helpful! When I went, it was pouring rain and I had actually tripped on my way back from the parking lot and dropped my food () but the staff was kind enough to re-make the items that had been dropped (one of the burgers and the drinks) and I could not be more thankful! Lots of options and combos to choose from, they offer a variety of burgers (bingz) and a couple of noodle and dumpling options to go along with it! I decided to try the mushroom burger with wontons in chili oil/sesame sauce and my friend ordered the cumin pork burger with the sesame sauce noodles. I also ordered a cold soy milk to go with it. Everything was tasty! The mushroom burger filling was deliciously umami and the "bun" was flaky and perfect. The wontons were also good, liked the combo of the sesame sauce with the chili oil to give it some balance. I will say, I think the noodles are the better choice as they have a really good chewy texture! I just wish the noodles were served warm but that's just a personal preference. Saw all the hype on social media so decided to stop by! Came at around 7 PM and there was a short line. The line moved decently fast and everything was very organized. I got a few items on the menu to share with my friend. Firstly, the Original Crispy Burger was filled with well seasoned meat. The "bun" was very crispy and flakey. The combo is good as well. I had the opportunity to try to Liangpi noodles with sesame sauce today and they were pretty good. The noodles were nice and chewy while topped with cucumbers and tofu. The sesame sauce gave a rich peanut flavour which went well with the chili oil they provided. I'm super happy with their packaging as most of it is eco-friendly. From their burger bags to their noodle bowls to their take out bags, they all seem to be recyclable which I am very pleased about. The interior of the restaurant is super cute as well. It gives off a modern diner kind of feel. Staff were super nice and were able to accommodate in both English and Chinese. If you wanted to eat in, there were plenty of space to sit down and the tables were all clean. If you wanted to take out, the staff would personally deliver you the food outside where you'll be waiting. I will be coming back for more of the signature burger, I promise you that! read more

Bingz Crispy Burger - Combo A3 (Signature Bingz Crispy Burger, Liangpi Noodles with Sesame Sauce, drink) - Burgers Near Me - Markham, Ontario

Beijing's famous Bingz Crispy Burgers have arrived in Markham! Finally tried Bingz and it's definitely worth the hype! Whatever your spice tolerance may be, Bingz has something for you! Check out some of my reccs below. NOT SPICY: You've gotta try Bingz's signature crispy burger (my favourite burger of them all)! The slow cooked pork is wrapped in a flaky crispy burger. Eat it when it's hot and fresh for that crispy crunch! I'd also recommend trying their wonton soup. The chicken soup was so clear and comforting - it's filled with seaweed, egg and of course, pork wontons. The LiangPi with sesame sauce is a must try too! LiangPi is a cold dish with thick noodles and cucumber. The chilli oil is given on the side separately, so you can choose to add it or not! MEDIUM SPICY: The wonton with sesame sauce has the perfect balance between spicy and savoury! It's not too spicy since it's mixed with a nutty sesame sauce, but it still has a spicy kick to it! There's also something about the Smokin' Hot Fries that makes them so addicting! The fries come with a secret spice - pour it in the bag and shake shake shake or just sprinkle on top! Add as much or as little of the spice as you wish. SUPER SPICY: If you're into spicier food and want to challenge yourself, try the hot & sour glass noodle! It's probably the spiciest thing on their menu. The wonton with chilli oil is also quite spicy as well! Normally, I'm not a huge fan of plum cold brew but Bingz's plum cold brew is SO GOOD - it's like a sweet plum juice! So refreshing! I was also quite impressed with their hot soy milk! Even on a hot summer day, it was so good because it was so smooth and the perfect sweetness for me! Since this First Markham Place location is Bingz's first location in Canada, the lines can get a little long so be prepared to wait a little bit or go during non-peak times.
