We decided on the panel size to accommodate the units needs and installation began. They worked quickly to put down moving blankets between the work area and the front door. They relabeled the new circuit breakers to know what goes to what and upgraded the entire service with a surge protector. As time permits I'll be using New Voltage to upgrade our other rentals.

The technician arrived on time--Tuesday, I think, or maybe Wednesday? Anyway, he was nice, but spent three hours setting up the system, only for the keypad to start beeping randomly at 2 a.m. for no reason. The app is supposed to let you control everything, but it's like navigating a maze with pop-up ads. One button arms the system, another disarms it, and a third just... opens the help menu? I'm still not sure. The cameras are decent, I guess, but I keep getting notifications about "motion detected" when it's just my neighbor's dog or, once, a plastic bag blowing by. I called support about it, and they were super polite, but the fix they suggested--rebooting the router--did nothing except make my Wi-Fi drop. Also, the billing is a mystery. My first month was $49.99, then it jumped to $62.17 with no explanation. I asked for a breakdown, and they sent me a 12-page PDF that might as well be in ancient hieroglyphs. It's not all bad--the door sensors work, mostly. But do I feel safer? Hard to say when I'm up at night decoding error codes like I'm in a spy movie. I'd recommend SecureSafe if you're okay with a side of confusion with your home protection.

The quotes I got from the others was ranging from $299-500 + anything extra. I figured $400-450 was a fair price. I couldn't commit, because I don't speak electrician and I certainly didn't have time to take a crash course on it. Ahahhahahahha Due to my unpredictable schedule and ZERO patience to wait around for another quote, let alone explain where and how long the charge station should be. I decided EC electric was going to be the one installing my Tesla charger, under one condition... if it could be done right away since Eduardo is already standing there. Thankfully, Eduardo was confidence to take on the on demand job with a 1.5 hour turn time from start to finish. Yes, I paid above what I had budget for, but I don't regret it. The work was excellent, the service was great! The price if you must know :) I paid $525 including two years warranty. Attached are sphoto for your amusement :)

Our indoor lights started flickering. Sometimes it was just a fade, sometimes there was a sound and…read moreit felt like a camera flash. We have a home warranty company so I called them first. I paid $100 for a guy to come out, tell me that he wasn't sure but guessed we needed a panel upgrade and the home warranty wouldn't cover it. He adjusted something on our dimmers and left, after mentioning that if we wanted to save money we could skip pulling permits. I do not play that way. I pull permits and I want quality work. While I grew up around painting and construction, I do not know jack about electrical stuff. So now I am overwhelmed trying to find a reputable company to not screw us around and throw more money down the drain and ya know, be a mom, wife, full-time employee, blah blah blah. My husband found this company and I used the same long message I sent another company who responded to my Facebook plea for a reputable company. I got a response, AFTER HOURS. They came out the next day. (After hours meaning it was night time, not that I was waiting a super long time because I didn't, I just want to make sure I am clear there.) They spent TIME here. Looked at the panel. The home was built in 1980. It isn't falling apart, but we should start saving for a new panel eventually. They checked outlets and said things to each other that, again, is outside of my understanding. Hubby was in the office that day so I was video calling him and speaker phoning and whatnot because hell, I thought our panel was in the garage with our solar panel. They adjusted some things, put in some new parts, and told me that they wanted to address the issue in layers because the last thing they wanted to do was replace my panel and for us to still have problems. And they left. I still had some anxiety because of what I went through the furst time with the warranty company. And NOTHING. Our lights are perfect!!! Zero flickering and it has been DAYS. AND, we have a great big dog and they were great with our dog. Dogs know good people. He liked these guys. He was pretty meh on the furst guy. Me too dog, me too. Hire these guys for your electric needs.

I reached out to Campbell Electric with a serious electrical issue and Brandon and his team were…read moreequipped to respond, diagnose, and give me a list of options and answers to resolve the situation on a short timeline. Armed with a full understanding of the situation, I made the decision to update my electrical panel to a 200 amp system. The cost for the job was extremely competitive based on other estimates I collected, and the best part; he got started the very same day. The install was completed the follow day and the team went above and beyond with keeping the job area clean, being mindful of the landscaping, labeling the new panel, and remaining highly communicative and sharing photos through the process. He even replaced a faulty light switch at no charge. My house had minimal down time and is now up and running with our safe new panel. I strongly recommend Brandon and the team at Campbell Electric as they're my new go-to for any electrical needs.
