We had another installer come out a take care of it. Fast-forward a few years and we needed this kind of service again...and we forgot about the problems the last time (we actualy forgot who we used last time) so we called Data Installers and made an appointment. And they didn't show. So we made another appointment. And they didn't show again. So we made another appointment. And they didn't show again. So we looked around more for another installer and found one ( I also reviewed them). Oh, I called and made another appointment with Data Installers...still waiting. Data Installers turned out be be THE best choice for the following reasons: 1. Their price was 20% lower than the highest quote i received. 2. They day I signed their proposal, they made a prompt appointment to do the work and showed up ON TIME on install day. One of their techs, Adam I believe, showed up with another worker and they were very professional, appearance wise & business acumen-wise. I'm not sure what the bad review was all about but this is not how I know Edgar to do business. I either love your work or hate it and when the due props are necessary then I write. With that said, I recently had Ed work on my home to set up some security cameras. The thing I appreciated is how knowledgeable he was and how many options he offered. Seeing that I wasn't familiar with brands, he mentioned some high end cameras versus some cheaper ones and basically told me what would be the best bang for my buck. But before I chose him I got a second and third opinion and realized that his expertise was just as good as some of the branded companies out the there but at a more competitive price. I am super happy with my camera system which I can monitor through my Iphone or laptop. I also appreciated that he didn't make a mess by drilling a whole mess of holes on the house. But what I appreciated about Data Installers is that he took his time to explain what each system did and I didn't feel pressured to go with something that I didn't want. Also, I was having wireless issues at my house and he managed to fix it and he did it at no charge since it was a quick fix! Found this company here on yelp and I decided to give them a call, I needed some security cameras installed at my office due to specific reasons. So I arranged for them to come to my work and Edgar the the owner said that they would come out and give me a free estimate of the job, they gave me a great price that was substantially cheaper than other quotes that I have received and I greatfully agreed to have them do the install. The employees came, did an awsome job, they were very polite professional and kept all of their work areas very clean and neat and as for the cameras and cabling, that was far beyond my expectations, the cameras were positioned better than I had planned them to be and the cables were very tight and neat all around the office. I saw all these amazing reviews so I decided to give them a call and I'm so glad I did! They installed my home cameras and the experience was great! I never once felt like they did not know what they were doing. They walked me through the process on the installation of the wiring and was very accommodating in finding ways to limit the cabling exposure to the sun, since most of my house is facing it for most part of the day. This staff was able to hide the cables well, and I was glad they weren't just left hanging about. I was glad to see how they cleaned up after themselves. Our company recently decided to expand its' security system from a small set-up to a 16 camera, 16 channel DVR CCTV system. We requested estimates from two companies and scheduled appointments with each that same week. Data Installers arrived on time and were very professional. Tech came to my house to get a ptz camera working. He got camera working but two hours later a ptz camera that was working stoped working and the one he came to fix did work. Called data installers back to come out and fix the work they did and they told me they do not warranty there labor on existing systems that they did not install. Called another camera tech out to my house and was told that the wiring that Data Installers did was faulty. Realy, you would think they would have come back to check to see that the work they did was done right and if it had been done correctlly would have gladly paid them to come back out and fix my . They wanted no part in fixing the issue. Would never use them again or recommend them to anyone. read more
