Hi, My husband and I drove from Garland to celebrate an anniversary. While on our way, my husband called to ask if we need a reservation. They told him no, but the wait is 30 minutes. Okay we'll be there in 20 minutes. We arrived at 8:00 only for the girls in the front to inform us that they're closing early for Christmas. Okay, So why not just serve us? Even the man behind the bar, who I assumed was management, told us that they're closing. We were prepared to spend money while out. We even had a babysitter for our 3 boys. Please refrain your staff. Other restaurants still serve even if we would've walked in at closing time. It's better to have your staff stay a little longer than to lose a paying customer-you could've made over $100 from us and extra gratuity for your server/bartender. It's a shame. There was nothing on your Facebook page about this. And by the way, your hostesses should dress a little nicer-not in ragged jeans with holes, being that your price point says you're a nicer restaurant. You really lost customers. read more

This was my second experience at BIN 303 and will be my last. The poor customer service starts at the front door, continues at the bar, and ends at the table. Oh you want a drink, oh you didn't get a menu, oh you have been sitting here ignored for ten minutes, that is what to expect from the staff at this disappointing place. I am always more than happy to pay for fine dining and great service and very willing to be patient and understanding when things go sideways at a restaurant. I have worked in the industry, I get it. But for what you spend at Bin 303 they should at least have trained and courteous staff. If you need some training for your employees let me know. I can recommend a few people who could help you fix your problems. read more

I stopped in for lunch and may have had the best burger and Cesar salad of all my experiences.

The atmosphere of this repurposed home was great. Just the kind of decor I liked. We chose to sit at the bar for our meal after being told there would be a 2 hour wait..... We started with the crab dip which was very rich and creamy. It was served with thin tortilla chips. I've had better and wished it had been served with a tasty bread but it was good. My berry/pineapple martini was pretty and tasted great which it should at $12. I had the lemon caper chicken entree served with fried potatoes and spinach and artichokes. The caper flavor was great. I enjoyed it but at $27, I felt like I could have made it at home. ‍ My husband had the chicken Cobb salad. The chicken was really good as was the dressing. Overall it was great to have tried the restaurant as I have been wanting to for several years. I think the price will probably keep us from attending again. read more

Bin 303 has a terrific comfort food, steakhouse menu. Our steaks were perfectly medium rare, the sides were better than the usual ho-hum offerings and our server was knowledgeable, helpful and totally on top of everything. The drinks menu was great as well. It's a bit expensive, but worth the price for a special evening out. read more

My wife and I went to Bin 303 at 5PM, no appetizers and done with entrees at 6:15. The waiter, Logan, said he would be back in a few to talk desserts. While enjoying our halfway bottle of wine and out of the blue at 6:25, an employee came and stated: "I need to move you to the bar because we need this table for the next reservation". We were in such a state of shock, that we had to ask for the check. This is no way to treat a customer! read more

Okay so....my husband finally took me to Bin 303 for dinner tonight. It was a celebration for me earning my masters but honestly--had I known the food would be that good, I would have tried to finish grad school early! It is seriously THAT amazing!! Hubs ordered the standard filet & I ordered the TX Redfish. His steak was phenomenal but I was sad for him because he didn't order what I did. I shared but it wasn't easy. I mean...I love my husband but for the first time ever, I wanted to be stingy. Bin 303's redfish might just be my favorite food in the entire world! If you eat seafood, you CANNOT go wrong. Trust me on this. The crab mac, poblano potatoes and shrimp eggrolls were also very good. The mules were perfect! Our server (Phil) was knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly! The only thing I can think is that Chef Mat made some kind of deal with the devil. This is voodoo kind of stuff y'all. The fact that there is food this good in the world is just craziness! The food was excellent. I had a Texas Peach martini that you can tell was freaky made and delicious. Tuesday is $10 burger and $5 kids meal. I ordered the Texas Dunker which is this braised beef sandwich. It was so good and the meat was so tender. I think this is my new favorite restaurant in Rockwall. I'm not a fan on chains so this was a welcome hidden surprise. Can't wait to return. I did find it odd that the front of the house lady said it would be 45 minutes and there were no other people waiting and I saw empty tables as we walked in and then we were seated less than 5 min later in a room that had three empty tables. Maybe they thought we would leave when they said 45 minutes. And then they sat two other parties about 5 minutes after we were seated. It was only 8 pm. Our server was very nice though. read more

Wow! This place is absolutely amazing. I was a little hesitant because of the mixed reviews, but my husband and I had dinner at Bin 303 last night. We were both very impressed with the entire experience. The old house is full of history, and the waitress shared the history with us. It was nicer than I expected from some of the photos I had seen online. The booth seats were noticeably comfortable, and even though the restaurant was full, it seemed intimate. Our server, Alice, was friendly and attentive. I had the Charbay Cosmo and loved it! My husband and I split a Caesar salad before our meal, and we were both in awe! It had a rich, smoky flavor that I had never had in a salad before. It was a great start to our meal. My husband had the ribeye (medium rare), and I had the standard filet (medium). We shared three sides; street corn, twice baked potato, and shaved brussel sprouts with roasted corn and bacon. The steaks were cooked to perfection and very juicy. The sides were absolutely amazing!! I'm not big on brussel sprouts, but I did like these. The potato was far better than I expected and had wonderful flavor. But the corn. Wow! The corn was AMAZING! A favorite of ours at one time, but has now fallen to the bottom of the list. Hostess is unfriendly. We were told 45 min to 1 hour wait. Over an hour later, still no table. I guess at this place it pays to have friends. Since we witnessed the hostess seat "her friends" in front of us. When I confronted her she claimed they had reservations. Well that story would have worked had I not heard their conversation! Save your frustration, there is a lot better places to eat!!! read more

The best restaurant in the local area. To be fair almost the entire area east of Lake Ray Hubbard is plagued with disgusting, and bland chain restaurants, but Bin 303 is no slouch and punches well above its weight. They would survive in one of the more affluent Dallas Suburbs with no problem. They use high quality ingredients from the likes of 44 Farms and local produce purveyors, and prepare them in a complimentary way. If you are looking for an amazing date night or an elevated lunch look no further. Just make sure you bring an appetite! read more

My daughter wanted a quiet peaceful birthday lunch and Bin 303 delivered. She had the Philly cheese steak with and a salad (don't remember the name) with Kale. Very good. I had the Texican burger, which was almost melt in your mouth tender. $14. They served a complimentary birthday dessert, an oatmeal cookie sundae. She liked that it wasn't too suite. Nutty tasting. A little overpriced for what it is, but it certainly is good. There's no denying that Bin 303 has some unique Texan style food, and a fantastic staff to wait on you. I just can't get over spending $60 a person when I could have spent the same amount at Fogo De Chao and had the best all you can eat steak in the metroplex. I know I know, it doesn't really compare. But that's just my thought process behind. So let's get on with it, to the food. To get things started I ordered the "Duo of Fan Faves" appetizer. This consists of risotto fritters made with smoked sausage, bacon, three cheeses & herbs on chipotle mayo with winter bin bread made with pesto, burgundy mushrooms & goat cheese. Sounds like a mouthful huh? Well it is. A big delicious mouthful. One of the better appetizers I've had in a while, and I really had no idea what it would be like or what to expect. Highly recommend it for kicking off your meal. Moving on: butternut squash soup. I'm a big fan of squash, and an even bigger fan of soup. So when I saw that they had butternut squash soup on the menu, obviously I couldn't resist. Wow that stuff was good. Thick and hearty, with tons of squashy goodness flavor! Also highly recommended. For the main event, I ordered the Whiskey Marinated Pork Tenderloin. What is that you ask? Well it's wood-fired & topped with serrano apple butter on a bed of skillet potatoes (green beans, bacon, red bell pepper, red onion & new potatoes). Tons of flavor. The pork tenderloin was tender and juicy, and much like a pork flavored steak if you will (that probably makes it sound bad, but trust me it's good). Apple butter was a nice touch, not nearly as sweet as you would assume so I definitely recommend trying it but get it on the side if your leery about it. The potatoes were fantastic as well, and the green beans were crisp and fresh. The atmosphere was great. Located in downtown Rockwall, Bin 303 is actually a restaurant conversion of an old house. A very big, nice house mind you. But it still looks and feels like a house. Which is nice. The warm and rustic building is only surpassed in comfort by the extremely proficient staff. I'll be back, but I won't add it to my regular stops list. Bin 303 gets 4 stars because as good as it is, it's not quite worth the money to make it a regular stop for me. read more

A little higher class restaurant located in Rockwall. Housed in what appears to be an older historic home. Lots of wood finish inside with a nice little closed in "outside" drinking/eating area as well. When you enter, you'll pass the wooden bar and wind you way back to your table. Oh, and make reservations. Heard several people try and get in, but were turned away or had to wait until later in the evening. Full bar. Menu has a good variety with steaks, seafood, soups and salads. etc. Bin 303 Chef will run regular specials. Started with the calamari appetizer (Very good and slightly spicy - be ready). Tried the roasted corn soup topped with crab meat. (Also very good - a rich soup). Entrees were Shrimp-n-Grits (5 pan-seared shrimp with garlic, red peppers, onions, herbs & bacon in lemon cream sauce served on jalapeño cheese grits) Very good and I normally am not that fond of girts. Also had the Standard Filet with house seasoning (grilled & topped with roasted jalapeño butter paired with jalapeño twice baked potato). Meat was cooked exactly right with a very good flavor. Prices are a bit higher, so be prepared. Didn't really think shrimp and grits would be $20.00 by itself, but it was good. Nice place to take your significant other. read more

Had the Texican burger. Perfectly cooked, and the balance of flavors is perfect. The avocado spread, pico, bacon and bread really do something magical together. The fries are great. Thin-cut but not over-cooked. Both regular and sweet potato are fantastic. The rest of the menu looks great... I'll be back to try it all. read more

We went to Bin 303 for Veteran's Day and had a really great experience. The food was delicious, especially the steaks and jalapeño grits. My guy did not love that the steak garnish for him was a little cooler than he likes, but the meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We loved the jalapeño cheese grits and the Brussels sprouts. Wash em down with some cocktails and we have a great night in the making! Our server was attentive, helpful, and personalized our night. Unfortunately they did not make good on the offer of 50% off for the veteran's entree, but we had a few too many to look at the check before leaving. Very nice atmosphere. Because of this there can be a wait and you're also limited in the time you can be at your table. So while this is my go to place when I have people visiting from out of town, it also gives me limited time to visit with them. Innovative menu. Could also use more waitstaff, as services a bit slow. After a road trip we were looking for a place to eat on the way home. I try to stay away from chains, and Bin 303 did not disappoint. We got there early which I think was a help, since the place was full when we left. My SO got the Texas Martini which she liked very much, Our waitress was Kayla who was absolutely delightful and extremely helpful. Fast service and the food was tasty. We started off with the beef spring rolls. They were piping hot, flaky roll and savory pieces of steak inside. The fried avocado salad has fresh arugula and a tasty crunch to 1/2 of an avocado. My entree was Texas Red Fish with a citrus salsa. It was refreshing and filling. I would certainly say it was on the pricey side, but in the world of chain restaurants the Bin 303 was a tasty suprise. read more

Extraordinary meal, everything was top notch. I got their version of a moscow mule which was very strong with fresh lime. I started out with a corn and crab chowder which was excellent topped with fresh crab. I got a burger and fries for my son, and he ate all of it. The fries were thin and crispy lightly dusted with something spicy. I got the veggie patty plate which came with avocado and salad. We ended with a creme de pot which looked like a scoop of ice cream but it was more like mousse. I will be back another time. I also never felt rushed despite how busy they got.
