We thought we were going to have to wait 4 weeks for the job to get done and then they had an opening two weeks out. Brandon was great once they were ready to book and finalize the contract, he also worked hard to get us a time that would work great for the upcoming holiday. Last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST was the team that showed up to get the job done. The foreman Christian was awesome, any questions or concerns he was all over it. Additionally Dominic and Jesse rocked! I rarely do reviews and if I do it's because a company screwed up. Well this time it because Biltrite Construction located in Temecula went so above and beyond expectations that I'm posting this review. We hired them to install a 2,000 sq' putting/chipping green at our property in Fallbrook. Their sales rep Donovan was very professional and courteous and made several trips out helping us decide what to design and negotiated a great price. Installation went smoothly and we initially thought we had what we wanted. However after putting on the course for a few days we realized the 4 holes installed had too much slope and wanted more of a flat putting surface. Their VP of operations Kyle Georgian came out to check on things and agreed not only to take out the surface and bring in dirt to create a more level putting surface but they also added an intermediate level of fringe artificial turf and installed a retaining wall using railroad ties - all at no extra cost. Their foreman Peter and his brother Miguel spent 2 days converting a nice putting green into a breathtaking, super cool chipping/putting green which will be enjoyed by ourselves and guests for years to come. Best customer service experience I think I've ever had with a company! Kyle said their company name is Biltrite and if we didn't think it was built right he'd take care of it to live up to his company's name. I can say we are satisfied with the aesthetic look that it gives our backyard. The installers were such professional in all aspects from start to finish. The one thing I didn't know when getting turf near windows can damage it and you will need to get them tinted to prevent that. The estimater will let you know which windows to cover before installing. I've had baby pools and water splashes for my kids and haven't had any issues using water. Overall my family and I are able to fully enjoy our backyard for the first time this hot summer year. He held our hand through the process and helped us pick samples and a design that worked for our budget. Jake was the project manager he did a good job too but because of some communication issues that is why I am giving Biltright a 4.5 Instead of 5 stars. Peter was the foreman and he was very polite and prompt. He and his team arrived everyday at 7:30 sharp and put in a full day of work. Kyle and the AGL employees were a pleasure and attentive to work with! I shopped out my project to several contractors and was at a point to give up on finishing up my backyard putting green, until I met with my last contractor Kyle at AGCC. His pricing was inline with another competitor I was considering, but wasn't comfortable with some of the materials and Kyle made certain to point to me that my sand trap was going to be filled with sand that will be safe for my kids. (Sand Traps are usually filled with Silica sand, which is harmful to the lungs). None of the other 5 contractors pointed that out to me, and I was not aware. After agreeing on a cost with Kyle, Michelle at the office, coordinated the project and the crew finished in 2 days. I had a small issue on the speed of the roll of the golf ball, and Kyle made sure to send his guys back out the next day and add more infill on the putting surface to speed up the ball. Now I have a completed putting green with a sand trap "bunker" for the kids to play and not worry them breathing in Silica...Thanks again AGCC! read more

On 12/09/20, Kyle responded to my updated review saying (1) they would reach out to me again and (2) they would come up with a solution to change that area under the downspout. Firstly, it is now 01/11/21 and I have not heard from Biltright. Secondly, as per my prior review, there was no issue with an area being under a downspout. It appears to me the responses on yelp are just done to show potential future customers that the company is responsive. Also come to find out the turf though we bought the Cool Flo , is extremely Hot in summer for Ur pets if it's not fully shaded or about 85degrees tops. Because it's Hotter than Hell literally and Will Burn their paws raw . My co and other Big Companies said pets will be Great n Luv it. They knew where and how much sun I get in my rear yard and failed to warn me !! We'll explain that to my perfectly potty trained dog , who refuses to Use turf now , as she RUNS for the door in daytime from fear of the Burning Hot turf! I called my co Rev Turf after spending nearly $20k and they don't answer my calls . Jason was a great salesman who really listened to our needs and Cori was super caring and supportive during the installation process and the installation dude was super chill and he worked thoroughly and answered all my questions. I don't know how these people are still in business. They are horrible and will tell you anything to make a sale. I had them come to my home about 3 times since they supposedly completed the job. Lies after lies. I choose them because I assume based on the cost I would receive quality and not quantity. I have neighbors who paid way less and received awesome work. I'm so grateful the job isn't in my front yard. As my neighbor take me as the laughing stock since we paid so much for trash. Be careful where they tell you to place your turf. So, I was referred to these guys by Artificial Grass Liquidators who apparently own them. AGL sells turf and these guys do the installations and estimates if you want it professionally installed. The rep came out today and was young but personable and seemed to know what he was talking about. We settled on a kind of turf and then decided to look into financing. I advised him I had recently had my identity stolen and it may affect my ability to qualify. He was confident he could get it done. We got denied by the first company, but the second approved me. I was ecstatic as my front yard is badly in need of an overhaul. I filled out their paperwork online and was contacted by a supervisor who said they would be contacting me tomorrow to schedule my install. Great, right? Wrong. I got a call from the young salesman right after and was told because my credit was considered tier 3 by the finance company they (Biltright/AGL) would have to pay a higher rate to use them and that they weren't able to finance more than 2k. My job was going to be a bit over 5k. I would either have to come up with the other 3k in cash or card, use hero financing which I already said I didn't want, or FIND MY OWN FINANCING? WTF? I went from having a deal to find your own financing? Really. When you tell your customer it's a done deal you figure it out. They wanted to call me back on Friday to see what I wanted to do. I called them back and said thanks but no thanks. Unprofessional and in breech of your own contract much. My credit may not be on point and it sucks to have your identity stolen, but I don't lie and don't like being lied to. I'll find a different company to handle my turf needs. These guys are clowns!!! We needed non-warrantied repair to turf installed by Easy Turf before Biltright took over their west coast operation. They quoted $100 for a guy to come out and do an estimate, which would then come off the price of the estimate. The estimate came in at $500, so we said yes. At that point they charged the $100 to my credit card andcame out to do the work, which was adequately done. They then charged an additional $500 to my credit card and erfused to return the original $100. read more
