It appears they changed food suppliers and you can tell the quality has gone downhill. Not as good as it used to be.

On Father's Day 2023, I took my grandpa and family to check out the newest diner to Chesterfield. The waitlist without reservation was over an hour, but it was WORTH THE WAIT! The service was excellent as well. My family made a number of modifications to our meals and our server made sure to write every single detail down. When food and drinks came out every made it to the table at the same time! As a previous server, I know how tall of an order that can be! So the food - it was flavorful and hot! Everything you expect from a diner! The portions were very healthy and and options were very wide. There are quite a few gluten free options too! The ambiance is fun and well thought out. Of course it is loud when full but there is a large counter with a full bar, espresso machine, fresh orange juice press, and soft serve machine (it does twist)! They have high tops, booths, half booth/table, patio seating, and large tops for the whole family! They did just open, so give them a chance, but this is a spot Chesterfield needed so I wish them all the best. read more

Went on Saturday 6/17/23. It has not had it's Grand Opening yet but was having a word of mouth soft opening. The restaurant was packed at 11:30. Their hours currently are 7am -2pm. We were told approximately 30 minutes for a table. At 15 minutes we were seated. The restaurant is really, really nice. There is a long counter if one chooses or both inside and patio seating. We were seated at a table and quickly attended to by Leaha. They serve breakfast all day and a wide lunch offering. 2 in our party ordered the chicken speidini sandwiches with fries. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger. 2 Smashed hamburger patties, Bacon, Soft Cheddar, BBQ Sauce, Caramelized onions, on a toasted bun accompanied by fries. Delicious, delicious delicious. The fun thing was asking the wait staff what the various dishes were being delivered around us. The cinnamon roll pancakes and the triple decker club but were 2 future adventures for us. The retro style from decor to uniforms is great. Try it, try it TRY IT. read more

So happy they finally opened! We love this place! My husband and I went to breakfast here a few days before the grand opening and had a great experience. Haley G was our server and she provided the best service! She was training another server and they were knowledgeable and friendly as well. Any staff we interacted with with were enthusiastic and personable. I love the decor - it's unusual and unique and welcoming. The food was yummy! There are a lot of options. I also appreciate them having lattes! As we left we enjoyed meeting Alan (Allen?) and Billy and talking with them for a few minutes. I'm going back this weekend! read more

It's fine! Service is always decent and food is too, but it's not a place I'd make a special trip to.

Wide variety of menu choices. Good to excellent service at lunch. The three of us had wraps, that were delivered quickly with abundant "stuff". Well-appointed facility with inside dining, outside covered dining and even counter-service. This is not Billy G's in Kirkwood. The Chesterfield location serves breakfast (open 7am -2pm) which lends itself to a totally different vibe. Still recommended, but for a casual lunch (or breakfast). Ambient noise level is somewhat elevated due to all the hard surfaces. read more

We were warmly greeted by hostess and friendly staff including the regional manager Chris and our server Kaleb. The food and drinks were fresh and food portions were generous and priced fairly. We enjoyed the atmosphere and we highly recommend Billy G's read more

I felt like I was at a restaurant and chef Irvine was going to walk in. There were several sections. I didn't quite understand the Decker however the chicken wing appetizer was wonderful. I have the locks and bagel. It was decent my friend had the Smashburger. It looked pretty good. Nice waitress, but again kind of a hodgepodge of things on the menu trying to satisfy everybody My philosophy is keep it simple make it the best read more

Loved the service! We came back twice. The food is great! It gets suuuuuper loud. We went once when it wasn't as loud and today there was a family that took 4 tables plus the bar and they were sooooo loud. One guy was yelling at the kids table. read more

We came in for a late lunch. The place wasn't very busy but with all the TVs, it was surprisingly loud. Anyway, our server, an older guy, was great and patient because it took my daughter a while to figure out what she wanted. I had the Chicken Parm Sandwich with fries. My daughter got a Salmon Benedict. We also got some onion rings. The rings were ginormous and almost comically crunchy! Delish! I thought my sandwich was good, the sauce was very tasty. My daughter really liked her benedict and thought the accompanying hash browns were perfect. So, all good, very solid, but nothing super creative. read more

Second time in during Christmas break when it had just started snowing out. They don't take reservations but they take your name and text you when your table is ready. We had a 20 minute wait. This place is always packed with a line of people waiting. Our server promptly arrived at the table to take our order. She was very sweet. This time around we ordered the classic and subbed out pancake for a Belgian waffle. The waffle was a bit dense and dry so a little disappointed. Hubby didn't get his order quite right. He asked for over medium eggs but received them well done and his toast was multigrain instead of whole wheat. I ordered the Avocado toast and it was one of the better ones I have ever ordered. There is fresh avocado on it which is always a huge plus in my book. I don't like it when they give you the store bought mashed avocado. read more

Patio brunch in chesterfield this past Saturday. Currently, they are not accepting reservations but they have extended their hours until 8pm during the week and 10pm on the weekend. I ordered the strawberry vodka smash and the ultimate breakfast sandwich. For months I have wanted to try their cinnamon pancakes and then the day I go I don't want that. I wasn't impressed with my food but it was cool. We waited long time for our food to come but it was hot so I'm not mad. read more

Not bad. Not great. Place is always really busy. It definitely fills a need in the central Chesterfield area. We were able to score two bar seats at 10:30 on a Saturday morning, so avoided the ~35 minute wait. The workers and kitchen were continually busy and quick, but the place has so many seats that it still took over 30 minutes to get our breakfast burrito and breakfast quesadilla. Not a complaint, considering the conditions, but just an observation for planning purposes. My burrito was huge, and came filled with sausage, scrambled, eggs, hash browns. The burrito itself was covered with a dark red sauce. It was just okay. The sausage was pretty bland, and the hash browns weren't evenly distributed. I liked the crunch they added when I found them, but it was wasted by missing from about half the burrito. The sauce over the burrito also was okay, but just kind of there. It wasn't a bad burrito per se, just kind of there. The wife really liked her breakfast quesadilla. Of course, it comes with cheese, bacon, and scrambled eggs. And crispy bacon makes everything better. The quesadilla came with a creamy avocado "puree" for dipping that was pretty tasty, and a cold refried bean & spice dip that was also quite interesting. So I'd have to say pick that over the burrito. On balance, not a bad choice. Just enjoy the place for what it is and not a gourmand's delight. read more

We came here for our annual post-holiday meal with our uncle and it was such a great experience! It was the perfect place to have brunch that didn't feel rushed with great coffee and food. I had a cinnamon oatmilk latte, which was really good - better than Starbucks! I also had the veggie omelet with a side of hollandaise and that was something I've thought about multiple times since! Wonderful experience, can't wait to come back! read more

Low grade diner, and overpriced. My tenderloin sandwich was well overcooked and dry. My onion rings were nothing but puffy batter with a very thin onion that couldn't be tasted. My wife's fry's were cold and dry. Looks like a nice, clean place... but it's supposed to about the food. My first review of a place , and I hoped for it to be positive. read more

I've wanted to try this place since they opened but never made it. I had family coming in town for the holiday and thought it would be the perfect time to try. We had a party of 10 and was told an hour and thirty minutes for the wait, but it was able 30 minutes, which was great. The vibe of the place was really nice. That diner look, which is neat. Our server was on point. All of our drinks and food came or at a decent time, and omg, it was delicious. From the pancakes omelets, bacon, eggs, just so good. Their gluten-free pancakes were good, too. All 10 of us enjoyed our food and drinks. We'll return for sure. read more

Weak food, good service and friendly staff. I was reminded once again why i dont eat out very often after going to Billy Gs on Feb. 24th. They were not that busy but the host still made us wait to be seated. My $30.00 meal was maybe a $15.00 lunch at best, The Club sandwich was a mixture of too much bread, not enough meat and brown lettuce. The portions for the cost of 4 pieces as honestly a joke. My cup of Chili looked and tasted good but it was Luke warm at best. This used to be a good place for a meal even if it cost a little more. I won't go back anytime soon if at all based on this experience. Yes, I could have said something and sent it all back but it was food so made it work to avoid being there all day. Looks like I'm not the only one based on other reviews. The kitchen needs better Management and the pricing isn't even close to being worth the cost. read more

Bar food at restaurant prices. Loud, crowded, and overpriced. Had fish and chips, two planks not much bigger than chicken fingers, greasy and mediocre. Fries were meh. Not bad enough to send back, definitely not good enough to bring me back. read more

Stopped by for lunch, first time visit today. We had a 10-15 minute wait, not too bad. After we were seated, it started out slow...the waitress serving the table next to us (Teresa) noticed us sitting there for a little while , we were not her table and offered to get our drinks and find our waitress. She brought us our drinks and about that time our waitress showed up. Teresa really saved the day and did a great job!!! Once our waitress showed up she was friendly and attentive. I had the butcher block omelette and it was very good, big enough to share. Restaurant was clean, quite a few big screens to watch the Cards play. We will return and try other menu items. Really wanted to give a shoutout to Teresa, again, great job. read more

This was a very fun place to have a meal. We had a large party on a Saturday night for a birthday party. From the host team to the servers to the food runners our service and experience were top notch. A 50's style dinner with a retro and contemporary menu. Having such a large group, we tried a little bit of everything. Each dish was tasty and well made with quality ingredients. The drinks were also well crafted and delicious. I don't think our experience would have been what it was if it weren't for our amazing server Andrew! This guy right here!! He made taking care of a large party look easy. He was friendly, professional, and worked hard to accommodate requests and take care of all our needs. I'd definitely ask for him next time you go in! Definitely the best part of our visit. read more

This place is packed to it being new. However, if you beat the lines be sure to order a A signature nut coffee iced for me. Also the Hash Browns were perfectly cooked that I would love them to create a hashbrown / egg platter. That's how crispy and golden they are. The lemon berry pancake was the favorite out of the two. It was fluffy and not to thick when eating. Two pancakes can easily fill someone. The atmosphere was chaotic inside so we ate outside to avoid the noise. They do have gluten free menu which is a huge bonus for some! read more

I wanted to like this so bad but I have given the place two tries. First and foremost is the service. I know it's hard to find employees these days but gosh the service is not good. My drinks were left empty for far too long, the waitress (and waiter the other time) did not check in with us enough. The food this most recent time was cold, yet it took forever to get. Waffles and pancakes were not even room temp but colder. The avocado on my omelet was hard and unripe. It's cute decor and maybe with time the service, amount of wait time and food quality will improve. Also heads up-soda is $3.99! read more

Delicious! Always fresh and enjoyable. It has a fun atmosphere/ambiance. The service is attentive and I always enjoy it!

Went to Billy's on Sunday for lunch. Had a bacon cheeseburger with house chips. Was done simply but delicious. The burger was moist and tasty. Bacon was cooked nicely. Chips were crispy. All served on a very hot plate . Service was good. Got a server in training working closely with another more experienced server. They were cheerful and attentive. The ambiance was loud, and I'm not talking about the music. Seems to be a great place for kids, as there were a lot of them. read more

Fish was doughy, fries were cold burger was just ok service was averaged won't be back waste of money They won't be here long read more

The food taste okay, the service is good, and I might go again. I'm giving an average rating because of the specialty pancakes. None of them are worth $14. They only put the topping on the top pancake and the cinnamon (or chocolate chips, etc) is not cooked within. All of the 'specialty pancakes' are 5 basic pancakes. It's actually misleading. I'd much rather have the standard 2-3 with the actual topping cooked in each one. The omelet was a little dry but it's made with chicken breast so that's expected. Again not a bad place but specialty pancakes are not worth the money read more

Fabulous cocktails, good service and great ambiance- indoor and out! Super unfortunately though, the food was mediocre, it absolutely missed the mark at every turn. Need this place to step up to the expectations of a Gianinos restaurant brand in STL. Between my husband and I, we had the huevous slinger (eggs came out scrambled instead of over medium- it was borderline offensive looking- plus the chili was tasteless), the spinach artichoke dip (came out luke warm) and the trashed wings (par). Would try it again for cocktails and carbs. Based on what we saw coming out of the kitchen, people come here for mega breakfast carbs- maybe we'll give that a go next time. I'll return to give it another chance, love the concept. It's so needed in the food dessert that is Chesterfield. read more

Great ambience, food was above average, place was packed and still got our food in 18 min. Hostess and server were top notch

Not the same as when they first opened. Pancakes are fake and tasteless. $6.75 to add bacon !!!! Over priced crap. I feel like to just got served some bull. $16 for a single mimosa. Never again. I came for the lemon blueberry pancakes and they are no longer on the menu. The sever didn't even know what I was talking about. read more

This place is beautiful inside! The booths are chic and have plants around the windows. They have several tvs around. The menu is big and has a little bit of everything. The waitress was super nice and explained everything to us and gave us suggestions. They have draft beers and a bar and also a patio. Lots of parking. The overhead music is not to loud that people can still have a conversation. Food was delicious! Big portions. Will definitely be back for more. read more

Large space with a lively atmosphere. Huge breakfast menu for all day. The salad and sandwich menu had decent options but seemed quite overpriced for what they were. A $20 salad or $26 pizza seems a bit out of character for a diner vibe. Smash burger was good, club sandwich was large. read more

Go to early on a Sunday. Get there before everyone else. Fast service. Slightly loud on the music. But love the vibe and the food!

We dined on Memorial Day. There was a 50 minute wait. 2 bar stools became available and we took. Only one bartender for the bar and the whole restaurant. We waited for 25 minutes for our drinks. The food was really good. Not the bartenders fault, should have staffed better. read more

Service was excellent as they were well staffed. Ambience was very nice which was to be expected since the diner just opened. Decor is inviting and relaxing. Food was unremarkable. We shared the Lemon Poppyseed Waffle and the Power Wrap. The waffle had nice flavor but it was cold and hard. The power wrap was lacking flavor and was too warm to eat. This led us to think the waffle sat and became cold while the wrap was being prepared. The wrap came with a side of fruit; honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple and a couple of grapes. The grapes were only decent tasting of the lot as the others were not ripe enough. For $33.68 for these two items and a cup of coffee we were definitely disappointed as this is not the normal quality from the Billy G's/Joey B's family of restaurants we are accustomed to. We will possibly return to give the lunch menu a try, but for the price and quality of the breakfast we were served, there are better options available in the area. read more

Very nice clean restaurant. Done in a 50s Diner style. The $15.99 Bacon Cheeseburger could have been better. The fries were not hot, fresh out of the fryer. They were OK. The bun was probable better a day or two ago. It was not soft and fresh. The burger featured two patties of a special tri-blend. It was not the tasty, beefy, juicy experience I had expected. It just wasn't flavorful. The service was good. The prices were fair. I'll try somewhere else in my search for an exceptional burger. read more
