The first thing that hit me was the appearance - looked like a diner out of the 1950's. And it got better from there! The menu is pure Americana. Burgers. Dogs. Chili. Shakes. Malts. The single burger is 1/2lb and loaded with toppings. I couldn't quite finish it. They have awards for best burger in Branson from 2018 thru 2024. I had one and they are well deserved. I chose a caramel milkshake. Could have been a little thicker but it was delicious. Be advised they don't take credit or debit cards.

I love the off season in Branson. We went to Billy Bob's Dairyland last night and got right in without waiting for a table. I ordered a double cheeseburger and tater tots, my wife had a single with tater tots and my daughter had a chicken sandwich with onion rings. Our meals came right off the griddle so everything was both hot and fresh. The hamburger patties are thick more like homemade. At least at our home. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Of the places i have visited in and around Branson it is the best burger place in town. The waitresses have been there for years and it is just so nostalgic. Thank you for a great dining experience, you make it easy to return time and time again.

Excellent burger stop at Billy Bob's Dairyland in Branson! I enjoyed the regular cheeseburger, while my husband had the double cheeseburger. The meat on the burgers is thick and flavored so well. We also shared an order of the chili cheese fries and a chocolate shake. Delicious!!! And, we loved seeing the memorabilia on the walls. A Branson icon for sure!!

On the Branson strip...this place does a pretty good job with dairy-dell type food selections. Hamburger: Pretty good tasting flat-top cooked burger. The burger itself, is a good tasting burger used...with a good touch of salt. Patty Melt: Again, a good patty melt representation. Tots: You get the salt on these and they're a great tot. They did good (in) getting a better cook on the tots. Chili: (Not) my favorite as I recall. Yes, I've eaten boatloads of chili in my life. So...There are better choices. If you're in the mood for this kind of food, you'll like this place just fine.

This is the cutest diner ever! Be prepared as they only accept cash & checks, no cards. The pork tenderloin sandwich was super yummy. The chili on the chili cheese fries was so flavorful. And the fried pies are a must! The lemon was unexpectedly delicious. read more

Let me start off by saying that the staff was really nice & so sweet to my family! Now to the details- I have zero clue how this restaurant has so many good reviews. The food was not good & so many of the items were from a frozen box and just thrown into a deep fryer. If it takes less than 10 minutes to bring out your food then I highly doubt it's fresh. It was like poor quality state fair food. The tables are really close together, so if you're wanting to social distance this is NOT the place for you or for your family. We wouldn't come back here just based upon the quality of the food. read more

Stopped for late lunch. Glad we did! Great food! Big portions and well worth your money. Teenage boy had the double cheeseburger and ate every bite (and said he was full). Highly recommend taking the time to check out this burger place. Oh, and the BLT was a bacon sandwich with a slice of lettuce and some lettuce on it lol. Tons of bacon! So we went back for ice cream/dessert after an afternoon in Branson. Needless to say, it was amazing! The staff is friendly and always had a smile on their face. We went in about 15 min before they closed, welcomed us in with no hesitation. The cherry fried pie with vanilla ice cream was spot on! Family had shakes, just as good! This place took us back so many years. They had great hamburgers and chicken and played music from the 1950's-1970's. The ice cream was dense and flavorful! Definitely going back again and recommend to anyone looking for amazing ice cream and food! read more

Probably the best burger I've had in awhile. Tasted fresh and cooked great. Little slow on service but everyone super friendly. Husband had chili dog and tots. Chili tasted homemade- tots were crispy delicious. And of course had to have cherry fried pie and blackberry cobbler. Yum! Took an apricot fried pie home. Gonna gain 10 pounds leaving here. Cheap $$ too! I'd come again. read more

If you're looking for nostalgia and a trip back into the 1950's this is the place for you. Everything is designed as a 1950's diner. The burgers are huge and cooked to perfection and the staff is always friendly. Also, as in the 1950's, you cannot pay with credit or debit cards; however, there is an ATM for your convenience. Their cheeseburger is the best thing here. Be sure to try it! read more

Nice people. Place is a bit nostalgic. Prices are cheap. Food is average, but servings are huge. The double burger is almost a pound of meat. Grilled onions aren't diced and shakes are too stiff to drink with a straw. More like soft serve ice cream. Parking lot is a little difficult to navigate due to storage building on the lot. Lots of locals and regulars, mixed with out-of-towners. Baskets are the DQ baskets, but since the servings are extra large, it's almost impossible to eat as presented. Recommend a regular burger and fries. Skip the shake. read more

Stopped by because this place was highly reviewed. I was disappointed to find the ice cream was coming out of a soft serve machine vs scooped. It had a great old school diner look and feel right up til then. My brother and I both got shakes which were as good as about any other soft serve shake and a fried pie which I wasn't impressed with. About $12 for it which is reasonable. I'd go back for another try but wouldn't rush to do so. read more

There's a lot of delicious sounding choices in Branson. How we decided on Billy Bob's was happenstance. We were not sorry about our choice by any means. This is a very good, old-fashioned burger and shakes restaurant. The decor is very consistent with the old-time flavor and the environment just feels very 50s. The service is typical Branson best and they try very hard to please. That is pretty easy since the burgers are so good and the ice cream treats so tasty. Try a shake or ice cream for sure to finish off your meal. The space is pretty small and it gets overwhelmed many times during high season, so plan your visit for off-times or be prepared to wait a bit. It is worth the effort. read more

Food was good. They don't have kid meals/portions. Luckily, I have two kids so had them share a meal which the staff plated separately without being asked! Wow! Great service. My husband and I were wanting a lighter lunch and so we split the double cheeseburger and the tater tots. It was a great burger but the patties were much bigger than we thought they were going to be. It was more than enough for us for lunch. We thought the meat would be thinner like at Freddy's. What a special treat!!! I saw it out of the corner of my eye and whipped in to get some ice cream. The decor is neat simplicity and throwback. My wife and I decided to split a double cheeseburger and fries. The burger was delicious and huge. The patties were so large could hardly get in our mouth. The kitchen divided our burger and fries for us and served to us individually- which was great. I also ordered a peanut butter shake and it was fantastic. My wife had a caramel shake and it was a perfect blend of syrup and vanilla. We couldn't finish the shakes they were so large. Also the waitress was friendly, kind and very efficient. Don't let the small building fool you; they serve big time delicious burgers, grilled cheese, hot dogs and shakes!!! read more

3 doors to east on 76, same side of the street. Not sure of number, but is a free standing building. Previously a fast food restaurant, but don't reminder the name. Be much easier to find when they open!!

Their coffee was good too! My mom had a BLT with fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we definitely will be back when we are in Branson again.

Chatted a bit with our kind server who was also a millennial, how do I know this? The eye contact and lovely snarky conversation. My husband ordered his med rare, which probably came out more med and not enough pink for his liking. Correction on my part, I got the mahi mahi with parmesan grits and green beans and I didn't even need to look at my pictures to recall, it was that memorable of a meal. Being early January a parking spot nearby was an easy find, I imagine though finding one come spring will feel like a miracle. I'd love to stay at the attached hotel but found it's already booked a year out. Doesn't surprise me, the old English charm with its stone and dark wood is straight up story book.

Billy Bob's Dairyland is a gem in Branson! My daughter and I had a delightful experience that we can't wait to share. Sitting at the counter, we watched our food being freshly prepared - an experience that added so much charm to our visit. The atmosphere is a nostalgic trip down memory lane, filled with reminders of Elvis, Big Boy, Betty Boop, classic Coke memorabilia, and race car vibes, making it a fun and inviting place to dine. We ordered a double cheeseburger and a strawberry malt. To our pleasant surprise, the staff offered to split both the burger and the malt for us. This thoughtful gesture made our experience feel even more special. And let's talk about the food - the burger was absolutely delicious, and from what I've heard, it's no wonder it's set to be voted the best burger in Branson for seven consecutive years! The strawberry malt was equally delightful, and having it split made it the perfect treat to share. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Don, the owner. This was going to be a one star review but the moments leaving garnered a second star. First my husband got a burger with fries and no tomatoes. Came with tomatoes, whatever. I got grilled chicken and fries, no onions. Got that part right. Chicken wasn't dry but was dense and a weird bite to it. Bun was twice as big as the chicken. Both of our fries were hot. Too hot to eat for awhile and just average frozen crinkle cut that was deep fried. Looked over the dessert menu and had everything all picked out. Lady grabbed our empty baskets without looking at us or a single word. So we waited. And waited. After 5 minutes of no contact I said lets go. Never have I been somewhere they don't pounce on a chance to serve dessert. Now, we were the youngest people there by 20 years at least. They were not busy at all. Someone asked to meet the real Billy Bob and he came out and was talking to everyone. I hope he heard me say "lets get our shakes somewhere else". And the second star.... lady taking our money offered a refill of my soda. That made me happy. read more

Our daughter Brooklynn is on the autism spectrum and doesn't always have a filter. When we visited the restaurant Brooklynn was very hungry and kept asking our sweet waitress for her cheeseburger. Not only was she given a free order of cheese fries, she also received a free t-shirt when she told the waitress she liked her shirt. We later found out the waitress was actually the owners wife, and he even took the time to come out and meet our sweet girl. The food was great (and in large amounts), and the people were compassionate in a way that we're not always used to seeing. We will be going back each time we visit Branson, and we've already recommended Billy Bob's Dairyland to all of our friends! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! read more

This places did not disappoint! We just visited on our first trip to Branson and will definitely be back. It has all the charm of a traditional 50's Diner and the the food matches the bill. If you want a huge menu with tons of variety this is not the place for you but if you want a great burger or chili dog then you have to go! We topped the just got off with a milkshake and it didn't disappoint either. The portions are more than generous. The hamburgers are easily 1/3-1/2 pound for a single! So, if you a looking for some good 'ole American Diner grub you have to stop here! read more

Loved the place!!! Went to alot of places to eat in Branson and said next time we may get a cabin where I could cook myself for the family,but then we go to Billy Bob's and even said we would go back for supper. My family loved it and wish they were closer to us because we would at least make it a weekly visit. This is a must when we go back and a must to go see. If you want a good BIG and great price burger (but much more) make this a must stop. They also welcome service dogs!!! read more
