    Chicken tenders and fries
    Valerie R.

Quick service spot that is fine but not great. Chicken tenders were lukewarm warm, but fries were crispy and hot. They gave us two dipping sauces with our tenders. Ketchup, mustard, mayo, salt and pepper are self service. They're open late.

Quick food and service not any different than a fast food chain. Cheese burger for $10 not too bad for a quick meal, the casino is bit loud.

Piping hot and great value for your money! Food was prepared and nicely prepared to take out! All worked well behind the counter and they all seemed happy to be there! That's a great plus when staff enjoys their jobs! You can see how it's a well organized teamwork!

    Salad for lunch

Located in the South Market food court in the MGM Springfield Casino. It was one of the two restaurants that were open on Saturday. The other was a lobster shack. I wanted to eat a salad because I needed some greens in me and at first, I didn't think that either restaurant had salads. But then, I saw the salads in the cooler with the drinks. I grabbed one which was pretty big and the salad was actually reasonably priced. I got a couple of salad dressing from the counter. I could use my points to pay for the meal so it was free but even if I had to pay it was still cheap in my opinion. The salad was ok and the service was good. The other food looked like fast food and nothing fancy. This was one of the only food options in the casino so it was just a place for a quick food break from the gambling.

Only the food court was open for dinner on a Wednesday night, wow not one nice restaurant was open so we had to come to Bill's diner. Line of 6-7 people in front of us, not too bad. It took a good 15-20 minutes to even place our order and it looked like "to go orders" were being completed before ours (dine in); actually I am sure because two people in front of us got their orders right after paying, we had to wait another 15-20 minutes for our dine in order. Friend got the cheeseburger, nothing special. I got the chicken noodle soup, it was so gross, the kitchen must have used seafood or clam base instead of chicken because it tasted like seafood broth, it tasted horrible AND is was probably only 100F, who likes lukewarm soup - blah. I also had the grilled cheese, meh, Kraft singles melted on white bread....don't waste you tastebuds on this place.

Nothing special about this burger, but I really like the fries. Pretty freshly fried and crispy. The soda includes free refills, which is pretty nice. Didn't expect much from a food court burger place, but I think even the white castle frozen burgers are juicier than these. The cheese didn't even melt on the beef patty, which was quite small. Might have better luck stopping by McDonald's before coming to the casino good court.

The carefully curated menu has all the classic breakfast and lunch staples - omelets, eggs, pancakes, etc, and for later in the day, soups, salad, sandwiches, pork chops, NY steak and even fried chicken! I ordered a breakfast sandwich with eggs over easy, and the bacon on the side, and everything arrived perfect and hot. Tender, crunchy, gooey deliciousness with the sandwich and bacon! The home fries were also tender on the inside with a delicate crust. Add salt if needed for that. I really liked how clean everything was here, and it was apparent that the owners take good care of their customers and establishment. Kudos! I'll definitely look to come back here next time I'm near!

However, our party of four waited 50 minutes for our breakfast. Even coffee took quite a while to arrive. A canned coke was delivered 20 minutes after ordering. Three out of the four entrees were served after waiting for 50 minutes, the other one took an additional 5 minutes and we waited for another 5 minutes to receive the side. The food was mostly good - Omelet was chock full of meat and was delicious. Bacon was really good. Burger was average and fried chicken was kind of meh - crispy, but very dry. We did enjoy the live acoustic music. It was great to hear live music in the morning since most places only have it at night. However, the excessive wait for food really overshadowed the rest of our visit. Oh well.....

The cheap add-ons shouldn't cost as much as the actual entrée. Nothing here is homemade--everything is clearly purchased in bulk from Costco (Kirkland brand) and Restaurant Depot. If you're expecting authentic, scratch-made kielbasa or pierogies, look elsewhere. To make matters worse, they shortcut the cooking by deep-frying the bacon and home fries before finishing them on the grill, leaving the food completely oversaturated with grease. Heads up for future customers: They are also cash-only

You will need to ask. My major bugaboo is that the menu is pretty unclear. If you order a veggie omelette you might think it comes with at least some veggies in it. Apparently the $9.99 is the base price for just the eggs, and each item is added for $0.99 each. So when we ordered we were asked if we want all the veggies, it was unclear that this meant do you want to add $10 worth of extra items to the omelette. (Cheese is somehow extra too). The food was fine. Not worth $38 for eggs, toast homefries and the aforementioned omelette. So this is a once and done for us. And yes as others have said this is a cash only place.

I ordered the Fifties Diner Special, which came with 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, rye toast, and two pancakes. Everything was excellent. The home fries arrived hot, the eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, the bacon was crisp, and the sausages were large and flavorful. The rye toast was already buttered, which was a nice touch. The pancakes were especially impressive--fluffy, moist, and served with four soft butter pats and plenty of syrup. The coffee was served in the classic old-fashioned white restaurant mugs, which added to the diner's nostalgic charm. My wife ordered the meat omelet, and it did not disappoint. It was huge, packed with meat, hot, cheesy, and cooked perfectly. The food, service, and overall experience were outstanding. I ordered chicken tenders and fries... paper thin tenders over cooked. The fries were good. My fiancé ordered a Ruben. The meat was grilled before going on the sandwich and was extremely rubbery and lacked all flavor. What worse was the service.. waited 15 plus minutes to order our drinks and our food. It all came out at the same time.. drinks, appetizer and dinner. Our waitress never checked back for refills or even to see how food was. She was talking on her phone instead of helping her customers. Overall I'd say McDonald's across the street will give you better for and service.
