We have purchased several bikes and had all our bikes serviced here for a number of years. Up until today, the service has always been great. Unfortunately, that came to an ubrupt end today, thanks to a guy named Jordan, who calls himself the manager. I came in to pick up several bikes that were serviced. Jordan pulled all three bikes up from the back, leaned each one against a rack and proceeded to sit on his stool at the register and watch me struggle to load all three mountain bikes into husband's lifted truck alone, directly in front of the store. Then, on my final trip back inside to pay, he commented that he would have helped me but he was "busy." There were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in the store and a younger worker was in the back working on a bike. He commented that the phone rang, yet he wasn't on the phone any of the four times I entered/exited rolling my bikes out. I would strongly consider another bike shop as the level of customer service now is lost between none and millennial laziness. I will try the bike shop on Power & Rittenhouse in hope of finding the lost art of customer service and good manners. Went to Bikes Direct in the Queen Creek Marketplace to get my son's bike repaired. Not only did they fix something that initially they didn't think they could fix, but they did it and did it with ease. They put on new pedals and aligned the tires on my son's new bike. The service was provided in less than 15 minutes and done on the spot. I was thrilled because I thought we would have to leave the bike for a few days and my son would be without a bike right after Christmas. My kids had a great time as they looked at new bikes and all the cool bike accessories. At the end of the repair, I asked how much the repair would cost and the serviceman said nothing. I was astonished and asked if there was anything I could do. The serviceman then introduced himself as Preston, and only found out that he was the Store Manager after he handed me his business card. I bought a demo bike from the Bikes Direct in Mesa. The brakes came squishy and really never worked. I took it back to the Mesa location and they did a quick bleed of the brakes but it didn't help. The mechanic said it was the best they could do as the Avid Elixir's were a terrible design. After a frustrating few rides I took it to the Bikes Direct in Queen Creek to see what they could do. Preston suggested I contact SRAM and see if they would warranty the brakes on this demo bike, which SRAM said they would. Preston then contacted them, got a new set of upgraded brakes and installed them the same day they arrived, so I was able to get back on the trails again quickly. I have gone in a number of times for other issues with different bikes and each of the mechanics have always worked with me to find the best and most cost effective solution. read more

Thank goodness for Bikes Direct! I hadn't touched my bike in years and was wanting to try & get rid of my spare tire around my mid section. I live in Queen Creek & know there is not to many business out this way, let alone a REAL bike shop. I was presently surprised with the customer service of the very friendly staff at Bikes Direct. They helped me out immensely by answering all my questions, providing great knowledge, outstanding customer appreciation/service, and most important just providing an overall fun pleasant bike shop experience. Ask for Michael Flaherty (I believe he was the manager) he had tons of useful information regarding the local trail systems, bike set-ups, and any other bike related thing I could throw at him. Preston was great. My wife and I are trying to get back into shape and walked in here a few weeks ago looking for advice and direction on bikes. He talked us through the process showed us bikes that would be good for us to start using. After a few trips to look around and ask more questions at this shop and even going to other bike shops near by we decided to stop in here today and bought Giant mountain bike for myself and a Specialized hybrid for my wife. I'm a beginner cyclist and recently went to a team sponsored cycling camp. I learned in camp that you should find a "wrench" that you will build a relationship with. This will ensure that the wrench will know your needs and how to help you! I started going to Bike Direct right after camp and was still showing Preston pictures of what I needed because I had no idea!!! Here is a picture of a tube lol!! He is so nice and helpful. Recently my pulley cracked and my husband thought we should just change out the whole thing. Preston was so honest and told us we didn't really need to and to just grow with the bike first!! I went into bikes direct a few days ago in Queen Creek Wanting to purchase the bike. When i went in there I was taken care of very well i got amazing service . Michael was very helpful and really helped me pick out the bike that suited me the best. there was a lot I didn't know about how to pick out a bike best suited for me. I purchased A Cruiser bike about a year ago for Bikes Direct. It was Safire blue and what a beautiful color. The price can not be beat on any bike of this quality. Sure you have to take a little time and finish putting on the wheels, seat, handlebars. But time is money. So that makes up for the hundreds of dollars you saved from them. I loved it some much that I purchased a second one. It had one bolt missing . I emailed them and right away got an answer. Not only did they send the bolt , they sent me the complete front brake pad set up. GREAT COMPANY. read more
