Im writing this review as I've been sitting here for 40 minutes already waiting for my food to arrive. It is a Saturday, now 2:40 pm. and the restaurant is not busy at all. I ordered a lemonade, some nachos and my husband a burger. My drinks were brought out but I'm still waiting for even the nachos that were on the appetizer section. I could have gone outside to the street trucks but my husband said if we'd go in the restaurant it may be quicker than waiting in the long lines outside. I'm so disappointed!! They finally brought the nachos out only to see they have ground beef on them. I clearly told them no meat. I cancelled my order as I was not about to wait another 40 minutes. What a disappointment! So, we had friends in town from Seattle for the Astros-Mariners game on Sunday, September 21st 2025. The game was scheduled for 1:10pm and because of the playoffs scenarios, flexed to 6:10pm don't could be in prime time. I mention all of this because we had several hours to kill and some of the locals recommended Biggio's. We called ahead to make sure we could get in around noon and said we'd be there for about three hours. The hostess was kind and seated us immediately. We ordered drinks and some appetizers and the server was nice enough. After we received our initial order, we didn't see her again for over 30 minutes. Fortunately, another server took care of us! After this, we kind of latched on to the 'good' server and he helped us through the afternoon. The original server came back occasionally, but we opted to just stick with the dude where we could. The seats were comfortable and the food was pretty good. We got the pretzel, chips and dip, chili and a couple of other things. Had a couple of draft beers and loaded nachos today/Sunday, May 1,2022. Staying at the Marriott Hotel for a conference so decided to try this place out. First it was only 3:45 pm and the hostess and waitstaff looked like they were done for the day. We asked to sit at a booth and were told that that was for 6 people and we were only 2 people. They tried HARD to get us to sit at the bar which was very crowded. They finally agreed to let us sit in the restaurant area on some comfy coaches. The service is just there not much personally as was were the loaded nachos. The only good thing we're the nice cold beers. I do NOT recommend this place for food. Beers, YES! Great place to watch games, tons of TVs and tons of seating, and they've also been very accommodating for my large family. Food and drinks are good as well.....some may find the price point a bit high, but to be in the middle of downtown, it's not that bad to me. Location is at the bottom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel, so very convenient for those staying there. My only issue came after my last visit when we received our checks, our initial tabs showed 1 total with gratuity added, but once our cards were swiped, somebody or the system added an additional amount, without that receipt being itemized, there was no way to know where that extra amount came from. I immediately found our server and she immediately fixed everyone's checks. Very much appreciated, but I must say, pay attention to your tabs, who knows how many times this error has happened and it's gone unnoticed. read more

My friends and I sat the bar and had drinks and chips/guac. The drinks were delicious, food was great, and our bartender, Horace, was wonderful. He consistently provided great service, ensuring we were all set. The bar/restraint is very spacious inside, wasn't too crowded, and has a lot of TVs with different sports games on. read more

Really regret giving this place my hard earned money. They got us with the large screen so we went there for the us vs Mexico WBC game. Servers were very rude with bad attitudes and just overall apathetic. Food was average at best not terrible for the price. Worst part was the outrageously priced beer. You could not get a pint for less than $11 each! Insane! This included coors and other domestic beers that would cost about half at most places. I only found the prices when I checked online. They intentionally keep them off of the menus so I'm guessing people don't just walk right out and I'm sure most people are shocked when they get the bill. This is also probably a way for them to easily spike the prices during events without having to print new menus with increased prices. Avoid this place unless you have to watch the huge screen for some reason. Only reason I am giving it more than 1 star is because at least the food was average. Buyer beware. read more

I ordered the nachos and they came out cold. Couldn't even follow up with my server because he didn't come back for a long time. I was so hungry, I just ate them and left. Nachos aren't that difficult to get right. I can't imagine what the other food is like. No drink refills because server just wasn't around. The food was good, but not great flavors were good. Two of us had burgers, and they were so greasy the buns were soggy. However the fries and ranch almost redeemed the meal, but at $21 per burger, I'd say pass next time. My son had the pork belly Mac and cheese for $25. The chunks of meat were delicious, but the actual Mac and Cheese was not good. At $25, you'd think the mac and cheese would be rich and creamy and that it maybe their specialty, however it was not. It was hard to enjoy though when me and the person across from me kept going up and down due to the unbalance of the table. Our server forgot to bring items and we even had items not ours brought that we had to explain weren't ours. When it came time for the checks my bill was incorrect and was added to the party next to me. When I explained to the waiter that she billed them for my items and asked it to be corrected she basically billed me double and charged my card twice. I had to speak with a manager who did refund me the second charge but this was not a good experience. Most time when a check is wrong the waitress can reprint it correctly and then bill me not swipe my card twice. I honestly have no desire to visit this place again whenever I'm in town. Houston has plenty of nice restaurants to check out and unless everywhere is booked I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Visited Biggio's from Louisville Kentucky while in town for the weekend visiting a friend on there birthday. A group of us went to this establishment based on his recommendation. It was actually the astros first day game of the year (no fans due to the covid pandemic) and this place is right across from the stadium. My buddy explained usually the place is crawling and lively on game days. We walk in and the place is huge. Really nice and spacious with a bunch of tvs everywhere. Now my group had been steadily drinking for about 16 straight hours so the hostess took us upstairs where we would be alone. It wasn't really crowded but it was still nice to be an a empty space to be our drunken selves. I ordered a cheddar burger and it was very delicious. Or at least from what I remember. The service was very prompt and did a great job. My only complaint would be from upstairs the journey to the bathroom was a hike. But I was ok with that given that we had a bunch of space to ourselves. Overall cool establishment. After reviewing the menu before arriving for our vacation in Texas, I could easily tell that we would love the food here. Brisket tacos, Mac n cheese, beer, and nachos--it's exactly what you think would be ordered at a sports bar. However, when we checked into our hotel and went straight here for late lunch I noticed that the atmosphere is much nicer in person. There are multiple tables with dedicated flat screen TVs in front of them meaning you could change the channel to watch any game. There are extremely high ceilings with a full second story for extra seating. The theme of the restaurant is baseball, but honestly I could see myself stopping in to watch any sport. My recommendations would be the Moscow Mule or any of the local St Arnold's brews. Both are excellent! What type of sports bar has chicken wings that are whole wings?? I expect to have traditional wings at a sports bar. As I said, there isn't much competition for them in the area, so basic wings for a basic sports bar is the bare minimum. Not sure what the CHEF is trying to prove here? Maybe to be more fancy? The ambiance is to loud on regular days and good crowds present. They do lack is service and bar tenders shouldn't be talking about customers out loud and be rude about them, yesterday Melanie was at the bar talking a rude about particular customers and she didn't seem interested in helping anyone just the register. This was our first time here, and it was a great experience. We came to the Marriott Marquis for our daughter's 10th birthday and Texas Winter Lights on the roof. The first stop after checking in, was dinner. The sports bar, sounded like a great idea. Parents watch college football and girls talk, squeal, eat and do whatever 10 year olds do. Lol. Our server was Madison and she was super awesome. The girls had one sofa and we had the other. Madison was super patient with them and us the whole time. Kids order the triple play? It was wings, nachos and a huge pretzel! When I say huge it's like 10-12 inches huge! It came with mustard and cheese (queso). Could have used a little more butter and salt. Nachos were good, and the wings the girls devoured (we actually had another order of wings, as well) it all. We had salads. I had the Cobb and chipotle ranch. It comes with chicken, but I added a grilled shrimp skewer. The shrimp was delicious with this salad. The salad was crisp, cold, and huge. My husband had the Caesar with grilled shrimp and ate my chicken. We both couldn't finish our entire salad. A great experience for a sports bar...oh and let me tell you, the televisions and projectors are insane. I can't imagine how hat this place looked like a week before during the World Series!! Let's start with the ambiance . Great place for sports fans. My experience with the food was less than satisfactory. The dish in question was the nachos and a hot dog. Let's start with the nachos. While the presentation was visually appealing, the cheese sauce was disappointingly salty. It overwhelmed the other flavors and made it difficult to enjoy the dish. The nachos themselves were crispy and had a good crunch, but the excessive saltiness of the cheese sauce detracted from the overall experience. The combination of the salty cheese sauce and the salty tortilla chips was overwhelming and left me reaching for a glass of water. Next up was the hot dog with hoagie bread. The first issue was the hoagie bread, which crumbled hard as a crouton when I tried to take a bite. It was dry and lacked the softness and chewiness that I expect from hoagie bread. The hot dog wiener itself was also disappointingly salty, which compounded the issue with the already salty cheese sauce on the nachos. The excess saltiness of both the hot dog and the cheese sauce made the entire dish almost inedible. Pass up on the food. Stay for drinks and tvs. At least the hostess was nice. read more

Biggios is one of the restaurants located inside the Marriott Marquis. Indoor seating offers a nice view of the park and they have outside patio seating upstairs as well. We came for lunch and the food/service was good; nothing amazing but not bad either. We ordered the Dirty Dog (brisket hot dog topped with bison chili fried string onions and cheese) and the brisket tacos. Both were good but serving paper under a cheesy chili dog is NOT a good idea; the paper started to breakdown and I got pieces of paper in my mouth every time I took a bite so I couldn't eat it anymore. read more

After the wait for the seating hostess, the actual service was prompt, thorough and accurate. I just had nachos and they were a bit disappointing l. The portion size was huge but there was something on them that tasted sweet that I couldn't put my finger on...one of the cheeses perhaps?
