Waited so long for food IT WAS RIDICULOUS!! It should not take 40+ minutes to get a burger!!!! So disappointed:( Make that 70 MINUTES.... STILL NO BURGERS!!! read more

Great for conference attendees -- in the Marriott right across the street from George R. Brown Convention Center. Visited twice this past week for a quick lunch. Sat at the bar. Friendly and prompt service. Cool atmosphere, very clean. Chopped salad was reallllly good (and enough for two meals). Fish tacos were also excellent. With seltzer & tip, each lunch was $20. read more

Bartender is so rudeeeee. They don't want to serve you drink. I'm stay hotel is nice! Buy drinks Outside. But don't go to bar &biggio.

This was the worst dining experience in my life. We met our friends for lunch and they were able to order before our arrival. We arrived a few minutes later and our server Angel took our orders. As we noticed others getting food that came in after us we got Angels attention and asked for an update. She told us they gave our friends food to the wrong table but it was being recooked and was to come out with ours. Another 20 minutes went by and our friends meals came out. We patiently waited for ours and after awhile we tried to get Angels attention to ask for an update but she would not even look our way. We then stopped the manager Mansa Romy and she immediately checked in on it. She came to our table and said she was not sure what happened but was comping our whole tables dinners. We felt bad for the restaurant at the time but didn't not realize what they were doing next. After waiting another 30 minutes and still no food 90 minutes total we left. Before we left our friends provided Angel a large tip to remember the screwing they gave us. As Angel's last comment was she said the cook told her to get out of the kitchen. I have never been to restaurant for 1.5 hours and could not get food or service. read more

Food is actually solid . It can be very crowded on game days but hey ...... it is Biggio's !! Probably the beat hot dog in Houston . Good point is that even when they are slammed , service is good . I will definitely go back and try the brunch . Parking is however very difficult so I suggest Uber . The place to valet charges $25 for 2 hours . Uh , no thank you . read more

Family and in laws had a great time. Order the Dirty Dog and a few drinks. While the drinks were average I did really enjoy the bar comfort food. We seated promptly and had a server shortly after sitting down to take our drink orders. Drinks were out promptly and food was average but perfect for a bar and grill. read more

I figured to go to this place since the great Craig Biggio owns the joint and it's just a block or 2 away from Minute Maid. The service was pretty good & on point about the little thing (i.e. checking in and grabbing refills). I had the Tex-Mex burger n fries and it was enjoyable, cook the way I asked them too. Plenty of TVs to watch everything that is going on. They also got 2 HUGE projector screens for whatever the main event is that night, being a sports fan, that's a big plus in my book. read more

We decided to have lunch at biggios. We (party of 2) were the only people in the restaurant and two other tables - followed after us. Took 25 mins for the food to get to our table. The other two received their food before us. I didn't know it took that long to make a salad and sandwich. Absolute crap service with lazy people. read more

Definitely coming back here! Loved the ambiance, food was delish, and surprisingly not ridiculously expensive. We sat at the bar for awhile, then moved to the lounge area and couches where we chatted it up another couple. I definitely feel like this a good, settle, pick up place, so...score! read more

We reserved seats for their Superbowl party they had and was not impressed at all, very disappointed. 1. the plain chips with salsa were stale...really? 2. ordered the hot dog and tacos, bread was stale! 3. we were seated on the second floor in front of dirty glass that obstructed the view of the game (we had to ask them to clean it) 4. lastly, the bill! we spent $300 for two people on dry, hardened, old food with no flavor. I mean, the game itself was boring but c'mon man! About the only thing fresh was the bottled beer. I would not recommend this place. read more

Terrible service. Simple as that. The only reason that they stay busy is because they're the only sports like bar in the area and it's right next to Minute Made Park other than that I have no idea why anyone would go there because the service is terrible. And they know that they have no competition so they don't even bother to do better. read more

4 of us wanted to try this place before an Astros game. Very surprised at how sterile the place was for a sports bar: no color, no memorabilia on the walls, no atmosphere at all. The bar had patrons but only a few tables were being used in the restaurant. The hostess wasn't friendly and inviting at all. Waitress was friendly enough but only checked on us one time throughout the meal. Now the food.... mediocre at best. The shrimp in the tacos was dry, and the nachos were a pile of chips with Pico & a ton of jalapeños on top; hardly any cheese or beans at all - luckily I don't eat much or I would've sent them back. Of course prices were high because, well, it's Biggios and it's downtown. Very surprised Biggio puts his name on such a boring, bland place. No winner here! read more

The food was good bar food (and a much needed beer or two). My son (11 and picky) said his burger was the best ever but what really stood out was the great service! Also, we were in town for Worlds Robotics tournament and they were playing it on one the the GIGANTIC screens! read more

I'm not sure how this place is at 3 stars. It's busy for sure, but the food is good (it's sports bar food, but REALLY GOOD), they have cold beer on tap, a good wine selection and a full bar. The atmosphere is great, A SPORTS BAR! There are comfy couches, upstairs seating and enough TVs to please everyone. I found nothing stuffy or pretentious here. It was on par for prices for downtown Houston and the service was great. I had a wonderful time and will be back! read more

Terrible service. Bartenders are unorganized, unfriendly and not customer service oriented. Even the manager on duty did not care. So disappointing that Craig's name is associated with this mess. read more

Kelli was extremely accommodating when we wanted to switch tables to be closer to our group that arrived before us. I'm sure in the restaurant industry that can be frustrating, but she still served us with a smile and helpful attitude. Our group is also in the customer service industry and so we definitely appreciate good service when we see it! read more

My first time here and I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff! The bartenders were knowledgable about their wines and other beverages. I ordered the Beef Brisket sandwich and it was great! I will note, however, that I was glad I ordered the coleslaw on the side (instead of on the sandwich) as it is heavy on cilantro and would of masked that wonderful BBQ sauce. The only suggestion I would have is turn down the music. Well done Biggio's, I look forward to a return visit. read more

Alissa was amazing! Went for the cowboys playoff game and her attitude and exceptional service made our night!

Service sucked. Convenient location and setup is cool, but I would take my money elsewhere.

Dropped in from Florida to see game great drinks , great wings , great salads . Wonderful service Manager Mike is on top of everything .Madison our server was delightful. read more

Went for first time to watch a game that was not being televised. Fun to be near Discovery Green and atmosphere was nice. Service was good and I appreciated that they changed the channel to my game. Unfortunately the food was sub par. Chicken Waffle had tasteless stale waffles and American Dog was not hot. Gave up on food. read more

Atmosphere is GREAT.....waitstaff is GREAT.....but nacho cheese tastes like you bought it in bulk from Costco.

Food good, drinks great, staff is off the charts. They made it a great time as watched college football games before the ASTROS. Great place to "tailgate". read more

Meal was ok, not horrible in the price range - $12-$15. However a regular soda is priced at $5 ! Bringing a relatively nice bill to $20+ . Will not visit again. read more

A nice place across from the convention center. A very big location. Quick service. Wished they had more Biggio memorabilia.

I was in there the other night. The waitress was awesome. You know how you are. The whole crew was friendly. Food was delicious, except for the tough waffles. Thanks for keeping it real folks. read more

I love coming to this bar late at or for Sunday Funday! The bartenders are amazing. Rob, Milly, Josh, Erick(s), Adam, Pedro, Sharron and Horice. Super amazing and with great memories. The bar backs are super helpful as well! The bar back that is there the most is Micheal or Mike. He does a great job making sure everything is taken care of to his job and the guests. read more

First and last dinning experience at Biggio's for our family. Food is sub-par for a Marriott. 3 and 1/2 meals of Four were uneaten due to too salty, burnt "Kettle" potato chips, and quite non-tender chicken tenders. However, Queso chip dip was fantastic. read more

Great lunch atmosphere. Good food and cold drinks. Sat at the bar. Lonnie, the bartender, is awesome. Also, you have to try the Bison Fries. Life changer! Enjoy! read more

Biggio's - Sports Bars Near Me - Houston, Texas

My god I'm sorry ,but I just have to say I went yesterday for the first time, cause I was working the Houston Chevron Marathon and around lunch time I really was looking forward to a good burger so here we are at GRB and we see Biggio's so in our mind kinda pricey, but who cares as long as the food is good let's just go so we all end up trying the TexMex burger I am sorry ,but for an hour wait on the burger to come out it was the worst burger I have ever tried sorry fellas $18 burger nope never again. read more

Tried twice! Well organized/easy seating. Felt clean and "Covid-compliant." Waiter got 3 orders wrong - he did seem spread thin. Second time we just had cocktails. Priced pretty well and cocktails were good... just didn't feel like staff was attentive (they were not busy). Both times felt like we were inconveniencing them/all the staff. Restroom was very dirty. I think the Marriott has issues with all their toilets not flushing/flushing and running continually. Overall, would go again! Quality and price on point and location is great. read more

There was a wait...to drink. Even though there were several open booths, couches, etc. & no one waiting to be seated in the bar area. But we were told there would be a wait...to drink. Lame. read more

We're in town for a kids robotics competition and we're staying in the hotel this restaurant is in. The fare is typically American with a good selection of burgers, salads, and appetizers that are perfect with the drinks menu. We ordered the Wild Boar Mac and Bacon Cheeseburger and the mac and cheese stole the show. It was a super creamy, rich bechamel that reminded me of really good gravy for biscuits. The wild boar sausage was well cooked and the pasta was al dente. We were in a big group and the serve staff was attentive and made sure we were all take care of. Overall, it's a place I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town. read more

This place is TERRIBLE. Their servers know nothing about sports, frequently go on breaks with no coverage, rarely check on their guests, etc. Food is awful. Sound is never on for the games. Fire the manager. read more

Came with large group for a conference. We arrived at 12:00 and at 2:00 we were still waiting for our ticket. The food was good. I had the American hot dog but the service was verrrry slow and when I asked the management to help with getting our tickets paid faster the waitress became rude a d deliberately slower. We ended up missing the 2:00 conference session. Poor service. read more

I'm a huge Astros fan. I was a kid in the 90s and spent many Saturdays going to Astros baseball games in the Astrodome. Needless to say, I am a huge fan of Craig Biggio. I was so excited to give his restaurant a try. As for the atmosphere and ambiance of the place, I have no complaints. It's a cool space. I love the two story wall of TVs covering various sporting events. The bar options were plentiful which is what you want to see at a joint like this. I would recommend getting their old fashioned. I really enjoyed the food that I ordered which was the pulled pork sandwich. It was prepared perfectly and omg the spicy pickles were delectable. Where Biggio's gets knocked down a star or two is in their service department. While the waiter that was assigned to us was kind, he was not super attentive. Getting refills on drinks was next to impossible. I think what hurt the most was when half the table were served their meals and the other half served almost 30 minutes later. 30. I think that's pretty inexcusable albeit a bit rude. In short, service was slow. We all know that there are many places in Houston to get good food and drinks. Where places distinguish themselves is in their level of customer service. I won't say that I will never be back but I do hope that they step up their game going forward. read more

I was staying at The Marquis, I was tired and hungry. I decided to just come downstairs have something to eat. The restaurant is beautiful, pretty trendy, two huge projection screen. I sat watching the Winter Olympic Games. I order the burger with fries. Everyone one raved about the fries, and I found them just eh okay. The burger was not even averaged for the price. My waitress, never really check on me....so I was pretty thirsty, then my burger fries got cold waiting on condiments. She bought my check.... um no pen.... okay... I just want to go straight to my room read more

Visited this restaurant in the lobby of Marriott Marquis Houston. At lunch I had the fries, just wanted a bite because of a huge breakfast. Service was only so-so. Fries were not good. Cold and dry. Came here again for dinner & I got the simple salad with salmon. It was a good. Lots of salmon, mixed greens, cherry tomatoes. Huge portion. read more

And the winner is!!!!.... Biggio's! This is the best upscale Bar & Grill that I've ever been to in my life! From the marble tables, to luxury views of automobiles from the window! To the largest TV's made from mankind, to the flat screen TVs in the men's bathroom!!!!! Their booth are very intimate & the food is top- shelve! I had the pascado tacos, w/ sweet potato tots!! OMG!!!! servers & waiters are super friendly!!! Gotta go back when I come in town! read more
