What a nice place. At first walk in it is so welcoming. The place is clean and nice and cool. It has the right amount of color. I sat in a chair in front of a fireplace (off of course) with my cold Match Latte. It had a little vanilla in it and I had mine with oat milk. There's enough seats for singles, couples or groups. The bathrooms are clean without a code! The staff was so patient and nice trying to explain all they have. I'm not sure how they keep it all straight. A man, who seemed to be a manager, was especially nice and started a friendly conversation. What a nice warm (despite the cool AC!) place to come to and spend some time. We were in the area and wanted outside of Starbucks. This was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful as they have a large selection to choose from. It's a very nice location to grab something and keep on trucking or have a sit down and take a break. Will definitely check back when in the area. They also have different specials as well each day of the week. That allows for some savings and a good treat for yourself! read more

I was running errands in the Crabtree/Pleasant Valley area and needed a quick energy boost. Stopped for a "zip" which is free on Fridays! And the Turkey bacon cheddar on Asiago bagel. The bagel was on the soft side, I'd get it toasted twice next time. They do remind you that it comes with cream cheese but just in case just know it comes with it. Had the worst coffee & drive thru experience I've ever had today around 1pm. My food came out but my coffee didn't -- nobody checked the window for several minutes, had to wave someone down. The woman who took my order said they hadn't even started my coffee yet, and I mentioned I'd already been waiting about 5 minutes. Later a different guy brought it out, but it wasn't iced like I ordered, so I waited again while he went back to fix it. When he came back and I mentioned the wait, he got hostile -- swearing, raising his voice, and making a comment that wasn't even true, while a line of cars backed up behind me. Staff tried to pull him from the window a few times but never actually removed him, so he kept coming back to keep going at me. I'm a regular here, but if this isn't made right, I'd rather deal with worse coffee somewhere else than be treated like this again. I will pay any company that treats people that way. There so many coffee shops around - sucks cause I liked biggby, but I've never been treated that way at any drive thru of any kind. read more

We were in the area for a trip and needed a little jolt before a long, afternoon ride home. The woman at the counter was very friendly. It's an extensive menu, so we took some time. My wife went with a basic iced coffee with milk, but I got a big one that was a mocha and butterscotch mix (I forget their name for it.) Being from more north, it felt like a step up from a Dunkin' Donuts. The drink was quite sweet with that coffee syrup familiarity for the flavor. For a chain, it's a nice option. read more

Since I haven't lived in this area for years, I have no idea what coffee spots are popping these days, so Yelp helped me find these guys as I just happened to be nearby. Yelp can always find you places to spend money. It's in a pretty good spot, though you're pressed to see it from the street. Parking was readily available, but if you're in a hurry, their drive-thru works just fine. Or enjoy the best of both worlds and order the drink to be brought to your parked car, like I just saw someone do. Old school Madonna played on the speakers while I ordered a double espresso and a single origin light roast. Or medium roast. The Barista didn't know. The Barista is supposed to know. Anyway, it came from a set of carafes that included a dark, a French Roast, etc. There isn't a lot of seating inside, but more than enough at 1pm on a Saturday. And there are two secluded cubby holes for privacy, working, and so forth. I love that. I'm sitting outside as I write this, and I really like the al fresco seating. However, someone should periodically come out here and wipe down the tables. Yeah, there are little things keeping this location out of 5-star range. Like having to ask for a key to the restroom. Yes, I bet they have their reasons for this, but I don't appreciate them as a customer. And finally, for a coffee shop, their wifi speed is a paltry 15-20 mb/s and the upload rate is half that much. We loved this local coffee every morning! We ordered through drive-thru and never actually walked in. Some mornings, we had their delicious breakfast bagels, "bragels" the Turkey Havarti was great but our fave was the Asiago with sausage and egg. They add a little bit of cream cheese which makes it even better. There was enough for us to split it. The large coffee is really "Bigg"!!! Their medium is more like the Starbucks Large. This was a nice option when we poured it into mugs at the place we were staying at. We ordered the medium on a daily basis which was perfect. The service is friendly and excellent. Be sure to let them know if you want them to add the cream and sugar or if you'd prefer to add it yourself. We preferred the latter. read more

Today was my second visit to Biggby and I am a happy camper. A good friend wrote a positive review and since the coffee shop is is in my neighborhood, I decided to drop by. My first visit was for the $3.99 Monday Latte Special. Service was very slow for a Monday inside. I learned quickly that Drive Thru offers the quickest service. The butter bear latte was delicious for the value. It was a pleasant spin on the Hogwarts classic butter beer. Today I jumped in the Drive Thru line which moved quickly. I ordered the sweet foam avalanche cold brew coffee. I love Mint Chocolate Chip so this was perfect for me. Very cool, sweet and refreshing for a 90 degree day !!!! My mother had a blueberry muffin which she enjoyed. The young lady working the drive thru was so kind & pleasant ! A total brown skin Barbie ! I have traded Starbucks in for Biggby. I also enjoy the cultural diversity of the staff at this location and the representation I see on their social media page. read more

If Biggby has been in business for 30 years, it's NOT been because of this location. My husband and I stopped in to kill some time before heading to the airport. It took over 15 minutes to get his small drip coffee. I got a latte and bagel faster. No apologies or acknowledgement that it was their fault for the wait. read more

First off I have to preface this by saying I love, love, love Biggby Coffee and was SO excited for not just one, but two to open in Raleigh. The coffee is always amazing and the service is always great. Today was no exception; great coffee and great service. My 4/5 stars is simply for the location. Both Biggbys in the area have the most awkward drive-thru situations, the outdoor seating feels like a school cafeteria, and the outside doesn't reflect the amazingness inside. But the coffee is lit. I am so happy they have one close to me now. Stephanie is the manager at this location. She's phenomenal. The coffee shop is clean. Very spacious. They have the menu posted and on the counter. The staff is amazing. I've been a few times between 6:25-7:00 am and they are so happy & smiling. It's hard to find that at some places that early in the morning. They make you smile. I love supporting smaller known coffee shops so I hopped on Yelp to find one near my sister's place and stumbled upon this gem that was right around the corner. I hopped in my car and was there in 3 mins. The parking lot was full (a good sign) so I went through the drive thru. I asked the attendant what syrup flavors they had since they weren't listed on the menu board and she read them all out to me without hesitation. I ordered an iced cinnamon vanilla latte with oat milk and sweet cream foam to drink & the turkey havarti on asiago bagel. When I tell y'all, this was the best bagel sandwich I've had. The bread was toasted to perfection and the cheese melted perfectly. The drink was bomb too. If you're in the area check this place out. Staff attitude is terrible...slow, rude, condescending... they prefer to talk to each other rather than wait on customers.

I was there last Saturday, watched as the staff treated a customer with extreme rudeness. After waiting for 10 minutes with only 2 other customers in the store, he asked what was taking so long. I work at the Domino's in the same lot as Bigby's and have been very excited to try it since I first saw the signs for it. An ultra-convenient coffee spot is just what I've needed. Even better, they brought their business neighbors a stack of coupons - free drink, any size, any choice. Nice, groovy, I like it. Unfortunately, I got stuck on closing shift right when they opened. Today is my first day opening again in about two months, and I knew it was the day to give Bigby's a taste at last. Today is 6/5/23. I noticed the coupon expired on 6/1/23 - four days ago. I joked with my coworkers "Do you think they'll still accept it?" because the answer as we saw it was - yes, obviously, of course; we're practically next-door neighbors, I'm in my uniform, we'd do it for any of our neighbors, and in general restaurants in this complex are friendly with each other, frequently giving each other discounts or doing food trades. So I go in with my coupon, acknowledge it's four-days expired and explain this is my first day working in the morning since they opened, and try to order my medium black coffee - not large or extra-large, nothing fancy or extra, just a - what, $2? - plain black coffee. The woman at the register says no, I ask if she could ask the manager, manager says no. Their attitude wasn't friendly or empathetic, no discount or anything was offered, no branch extended, no "oh we understand! It only just expired and you're our neighbor, and given that we don't need to scan the coupon or anything, we'll just let you have this one on the house," as any other business here would have done. Perhaps I'm wrong in assuming that the free coupons given to their neighboring businesses was to try to win over new daily customers. I was excited to give Bigby's a shot and hopefully make it my daily go-to, now that I'm working opening shift again. A four-day-delayed free $2 cup of coffee in exchange for a three-to-five-day-a-week loyal customer seems like a fair trade, right? Oh well, their loss: I took my business to Starbucks instead - where they gave me 10% off without me even asking, and to whom I gave the $5 cash tip I would've given to the woman at Bigby's, had they been neighborly & had good business practice. I was looking forward for a new, more convenient, non-Starbucks location to frequent, but alas, 'twas ne'er meant to be. Driven by this place several times and it intrigued me as they took over an old bank building. Decided to go inside and order instead of utilizing the drive-thru (which I will def do one day). The workers behind the counter were all cheerful and eager to help. I decided to order my usual coffee shop order so I could compare their coffee. I'm not an expert, but it's easier to compare apples to apples. The seating options were pretty cool, two little single nooks for more privacy and focus for those of us who are challenged when we need to focus on work, a couple of high top tables and some lower tables for convos. Also had two cozier chairs with an end table between them and a bar area with higher chairs. Basically, something cpr everyone. Bathrooms were easy access too. Their retail offerings had a variety to choose from: travel coffee cups, mugs, kids cups, t-shirts, fresh ground coffee and even oolong tea and green mint tea. Food offerings looked good but I just tried some donut holes and even bought an extra batch to bring home to share. They were great! Overall vibe from the employees was positive. They greeted me eagerly and they made a point to wish me a great day when I left. Definitely returning. It's not a snobbish environment and they really seem to appreciate the business.
