Stopped by Coffee Lodge today and I'm obsessed. The cutest little drive thru cabin with such a cozy vibe. I tried the Teddy Graham latte and the coffee cake, both were 10 out of 10. Working in Rolesville I have a hard time getting to other chain coffee shops. I've worked in Rolesville for over 2 years now and only drank coffee from coffee lodge when I need a mid afternoon pick me up. I love the turtle, white chocolate mocha, or the caramel lattes. With the road work sometimes I miss getting to go through the drive thru. Everytime I've come through lately the staff are very friendly. I'm usually quickly through the line because they're working pretty hard. Happy to say, I will go here everyday if I could! read more

I always get the same size Latte, sometimes it tastes delicious and other times it tastes watery. The prices on the board and in these pictures are way off. I have been paying $5.25 for a 20oz Latte not $3.83 like the menu states. read more

This was the cutest stop on a Saturday morning- and DEFINITELY worth the drive from the other side of Raleigh. It reminded me of home (since these are all over the northwest and northern Midwest). Neat place for coffee in Rolesville! It definitely looks like a lodge and has a Sasquatch theme. Park and walk up to the window or use the drive thru. We chose the drive thru. The drive thru took about as long as a typical busy Starbucks. The employees were friendly and our order was accurate. We chose the green giant, iced black coffee, chocolate chip muffin, plain bagel, and everything bagel. The bagels are warmed and cut. They do not toast them or apply cream cheese or butter. They ask how much cream cheese or butter you want and provide it on the side. We enjoyed each of the items. I especially liked the chocolate chip muffin. Overall we had a positive experience here and recommend this cafe to others! read more

I ordered an iced caramel macchiato It was perfect just the way I like it no add ons needed or anything! The prices are affordable and reasonable. The staff were so friendly and helpful! They were quick with making my drink! The theme is cute and goes well with where it is! This is one of the best coffee spots in the Wake Forest/Rolesville area! Side note- The is a speaker where the menu is so don't be like me and pull to the window to order. Coffee is good, but they have not updated their menu prices in apparently over five years according to the person who served me today. I was expecting to pay the $3-4 for a small latte like the menu tells you, waited 10 mins in line for it, then got to the window and was told to pay almost $7. When I asked about the price, they laughed and said "Oh yeah, we haven't updated the menu prices in like over five years! Sorry"..... Uh, why? Five years!? Please, update your menu to what you charge! That's insane to read $3 for a small latte, and then after waiting and it's already made, be told it's $7. That is over DOUBLE what is presented! The fact that the staff blows it off like it doesn't matter is crazy from a business, too. I will not be returning after my experience today unfortunately. read more

I went to Coffee Lodge yesterday for the first time with my friend (who is a regular there) and it was so cute! It looks like a legit log cabin and has a drive thru and walkup window to order from. I got an iced English toffee latte with almond milk and a blueberry granola bar, and my friend got a raspberry white hot chocolate. Everything was delicious! Coffee Lodge is always quick and easy on a weekday morning! Definitely have to wait in line longer on the weekends or later in the day. Only drive through coffee shop in Rolesville so definitely worth stopping in if you are in a hurry or just don't want to get out of your car. Might have been an off day, but on our first and only visit, they were out of two different muffins we asked for. Settled on a Yeti, which is a smoothie, and a flavored iced coffee. Smoothie was very good, however, $6 seemed a bit steep. The iced coffee was terrible - had a strong burnt taste. Service was pretty slow as well. Might come back, might not. We like to support smaller local establishments, but first experience wasn't a good one. read more

Coffee Lodge was a nice surprise. On an early morning trip through Rolesville, I saw this log cabin on the side of the road. At first glance I thought it was some kind of advertisement for log cabin sales, but when I saw the name, I had to stop. There was only one person working that day, waiting on both the drive up and walk-up windows. The wait was a bit longer than I'm used to, but since I wasn't in much of a hurry, it didn't matter. The coffee choices are much like you'd get at any place, with a pick-your-flavor or number of shots, options. The coffee, when I finally received it, was hot, pretty mild, but probably meant for flavoring. The latte was quite good, but heavy on the milk and light on the coffee. The espresso that I ordered on the way back through town, on the other hand, was all kinds of good. Maybe it has to do with the barista or the time of day. In any case, I like Coffee Lodge. I like that it's not a chain; I like that it has both a drive through and a walk up window, I like that the employees actually seem to have a customer-focused attitude, and I really like coffee. An added feature: Coffee Lodge also serves Daylight Donuts -- at least in the morning. Coffee and donuts. A perfect morning sugar-and-caffeine pick me up. read more

My husband and I went for the first time and our first opinion when we pulled up was how cute the establishment looks. It reminded us of a cute mountain lodge. The menu is diverse from supplying coffee to ice cream to bread and donuts. I was surprised to see ice cream I can't wait to try that next. We will be returning again soon :) read more

I have been in Rolesville for about a week now. On a vacation. I am a huge coffee connoisseur and very critical. All I can say is taht this place is amazing. I have gone probably about 6-7 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME it has been nothing short of perfect. Everything is right. The flavor. The consistency. The choices. We recently moved here from Arizona and have been looking for a good coffee place. We found the Coffee Lodge based on good reviews but I'm confused how this place has such good reviews. We came today and asked if I could get a cortado which is one of the most common espresso drinks anywhere. The barista came to the window angry that we even asked and said it's not on the menu then proceeded to ask how to make it. We saw her in the window getting mad having to make it. It would have been okay to just say no we can't make it instead of being angry. Really weird and unpleasant experience, do not recommend coming here. read more

I hate giving a low ranking. I love the concept of the log cabin drive through (reminds me of a few chains in the PNW) and service was great... but the iced coffee aftertaste just tasted burnt and was undrinkable. The latte we got also had the same aftertaste issue of being burnt and just not tasting right. I'm chalking it up to something with the beans but its a little out if the way for us a to give it another shot. read more

I have had the unfortunate experience of going to this little spot in our community. It used to be a great place to get a delicious snack and a great cup of coffee, but the owners of the business seem to be completely uninterested in running it. They are incredibly rude to the employees and often run out of basic supplies like syrups. It is concerning that the employees are made to go get supplies instead of the owners taking responsibility for their business. I have also noticed that the same young lady with light blue eyes is always talking about how she is looking for a new job, which is inappropriate for an employee to do. Additionally, the owners appear to be doing favors by allowing a 15 year old to work without a permit. It is a shame that this once great little spot in our community has declined so much. read more

Every time I go to visit relatives in this area we ALWAYS hit up the coffee lodge. I love this place so much. They have everything from lattes to frappes and little bakery treats although I only go for the coffe. I loveee the caramel mocha lattes here. They're made with good beans too because they jack you up like no other!! This location is literally a little shack with a drive-thru. Don't expect some extravagant coffee shop like starbucks. It's pretty legit though. My favorite part of the whole experience is SASQUATCH. Yes, you read that right. They've got a giant sasquatch statue peering out of the bushes at the drive-thru window. I love this place! My twin sister lives out in washington state and they have so many of these little coffee buildings with drive thrus only and this is exactly that. Not to mention, the coffee here at the lodge is actually strong and always brewed to perfection. I've never been disappointed in my drink, service or wait time here. In fact is always been exceptional. Never just alright. I wish there was a little more detail on the drinks about what's in them and even wish they had special features to try new drinks throughout the week but hey, I still love this place and wouldn't give them any less than 5 stars read more

Horrible experience! Though aesthetically pleasing the customer service was below average. I'm a North Carolinian currently residing in the DMV. I look forward to coming back home and supporting local businesses, especially coffee shops. A few months ago, I dropped by the Coffee Lodge but it was closed and thought to drop by today. Well, I did. Only to greeted by a rude and passive-aggressive lady.I ordered a white chocolate mocha and asked for a straw because I have braces; but she didn't take to my request kindly. She annoyingly handed me a straw. I took a sip of the coffee and it was awfully sweet. So, I decided to drive back around to ask them to remake it. In trying to understand how many pumps of syrup goes into their medium drinks to properly request how I would like my coffee prepared; she interrupts me and says, "You want us to remake it" and shuts the drive-thru window with a half smile and the rest of her face postured in disgust. At this point, I'm asking myself shouldn't I be the one with such a facial expression? Anywho, I love tipping(I did not) and I have never left a bad review. I guess it's a first for everything. Just an FYI( it isn't relevant but meant to make a point), I'm here to lay a family member to rest and this is one of many during this pandemic.
