Biggby Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ferndale, Michigan

I stopped in with a buddy on a Tuesday morning to get a coffee drink and a sandwich. The cashier was a bit dry on the greeting as well as the rest of the interaction i had with her at the register. My friend asked about a drink that was on the wall and she really didn't elaborate. She just gave a quick "That's a freeze." The space was clean. I noticed about 8 coffee pots on the counter. When the people behind the counter finish your food and drinks the say whatever it is and place it on the counter. There is no ticket number or name that they call your order by. Which makes it confusing and easy for people to take the wrong thing. A lady took the sandwich that I ordered. They had to make me another egg and cheese asiago bagel.... The sandwich was decent. The Tigers cold brew that my friend had was good. The carmel Vanilla latte I had was lacking vanilla but was still ok. read more

Biggby Coffee - game day inspired drinks and a sausage and egg sandwich - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ferndale, Michigan

The staff here was super awesome. Some places need the feng shui and small coffee shop feel to have the vibes but the staff make it happen I'll definitely be back to this location read more

I stopped in with my daughter, this morning and from the time we walked in the door, the service was AH-mazing!!! My Bragel & Frozen Teddy Bear was delicious! The owner took my order & he has the most brightest smile & personality! This was my first time in but it won't be my last! The ambiance is very welcoming! Thanks Guys!! read more

They always have delcious coffee. It never tastes like it's been sitting in a pot. I've never had an order prepared wrong and even when they're 'packed' they're so very quick! read more

One of the few remaining Biggby Coffee locations left! Their coffee is great, just a little bit expensive. Parking is a little tight in this lot for a larger vehicle. No drive thru either, but that's okay. I usually get different flavors of their iced coffee and they're always served perfectly to me and in a timely manner. The only setback is the prices. I find it difficult to come in here often due to the prices of the different coffees available. I would hate to see this location go as well, but I think the prices need to come down in order to compete with other coffee chains in the area. read more

My husband has been here a few times. He's had their peppermint mocha without whip cream. It's always so delicious and always tastes the same. Biggby's peppermint mocha is quite good for a chain coffee place. It's a perfect blend of almond milk, peppermint syrup and coffee. He slurps it down quick, it's that good. read more

Pretty good coffee all the time. I just wanted almost 20 mins for a simple sandwich. The 2 girls at the register were just taking the new orders. If they can't make sandwiches too or have another person, then they don't need to offer food. Last visit here unfortunately. The guy that is there in the morning is great! read more

This place is a joke. The people who work here wish they could be actual baristas. The syrups and overall quality of their coffee products are pretty subpar- especially compared to their plentiful competition in Ferndale. They only seem to care to interact with familiar faces- so good luck if you are a first time customer. Do yourself a favor and drive to ANY other coffee shop on the area...I mean ANY...even McD's will give you a better cup o joe... read more

Amazing service! My first time in Bigsby and I had no idea what I wanted. The owner was so helpful and patient. I got the vegan sausage on a bagel, mo cheese. Great sandwich! Definitely going back! read more

Food was good but the man at the cash register was rude to me and my granddaughter.I will never go there again.

I was skeptical. Bigby has really good coffee Baristas are good and nice. I get beans ground up and it's by far some of the best coffee I've had in the area. I haven't tried the food but Chai is solid. read more

I really liked your parfait before, so I got another one, and it looks nothing like before. The yogurt is half full. And so is my mocha mocha with the extra shot. I can hold the cup with two fingers. Super disappointed after a crappy week. Whattup with THAT, Bigby?! read more

Husband and I ordered two identical cappuccinos. His was normal. Mine was half empty. Had a bunch of foam but, somehow remarkably tastes more bitter than his. DoirDash only offered us a $2 discount. Total BS. Learn how to make drinks. read more

My absolute favorite people!!! Always so warm and friendly and welcoming!! Oh, and the coffee and bagel sandwiches are fantastic as well! Cannot recommend highly enough!! read more

The staff is so friendly. I just moved here a month ago and it was really nice to have my first interaction with people so pleasant.

Biggby just opened yesterday!! First visit was great, friendly personable staff. Their bagels look yummy. The iced black coffee is REAL espresso 4 shots over ice, I'm glad I won't have to drink the watered down Tim hortons anymore!! So strong, great flavor! read more

Very cozy. Staff is friendly. Coffee is very good and they have a fantastic spiced hot cider!!

This is a great Biggby location. The service is always friendly, and the wait times are next to nothing. The baristas even go out of their way to strike up a friendly conversation with you from my experience. Some of Biggbys corporate competitors don't hide the fact that you're just an order they're trying to fulfill...not here! Very refreshing. Conveniently located on 9 mile, its centrally located and walkable for most Ferndale residents and offers plenty of parking for those who drive. Also close to Ferndale foods, so it's a nice pop in before knocking out groceries for the week. 4 stars only because it's rather small with only a few indoor seating options. Otherwise I highly recommend this place! read more

In this busy world it's a gift to find a business where quality, kindness, and charm exist. The staff at Ferndale Biggby Coffee always treat me like the only customer. The staff have impeccable customer service. The place is spotless clean. The drinks are always perfect and taste delicious....even my quirky fussy custom drinks! I drive out of my way to stop in at least 3 to 4 times a week at this cozy little gem. It's always a boost to be treated so wonderful, and to enjoy a heavenly coffee. read more

This place just opened and I was excited because it was close to home and on my way to work. Also because there was one near my house when I lived downriver, and I fell in like with their coffee. Stopped in real quick for an iced coffee and it was delicious as I expected. Love that I can add my own cream and sugar to my liking. Also, the staff this morning was super friendly. I'll be back. read more

Biggby Coffee - My first coffee from the new Biggby in Ferndale - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ferndale, Michigan

I feel the prices are way to high for basic average drinks. $4 and change for a Small hot chocolate. The furnishings are sparse. It does look clean and the drinks were decent, but not anywhere near excellent. The employees helped, but they didn't greet us or say what can I get for you upon entering. read more

The ferndale location has the best staff ever. They keep me coming back.

Although this store is new and the staff is still getting familiar with the register and the coupons the staff is very friendly. I usually get a tall white lightning coffee w 2 shots of espresso and today I had the pumkin spice latte. The store is clean and they have WiFi. I plan on being a regular customer! read more

love finding any other coffee place except Starbucks. This hits the spot when in Michigan. Thanks

The baristas here are so sweet! They always ask how you are and what you're doing for the day. They make the drinks super fast and taste great. Keep up the great work! read more

Why is Biggby Coffee so much better than other coffee chains? I don't know. This location is no different. Yummy drinks and friendly staff.

This is easily my favorite coffee shop. I love stopping here in the morning before work -- the entire staff is amazing and always so kind.

Long overdue on this review! I lovvveee this Biggby! I kept trying to remember the names of my fave baristas but honestly I like them ALL! I've been grabbing a coffee/tea here pretty regularly since I moved close just over a year ago. Absolutely the nicest staff anywhere in Ferndale! Always chatty and super friendly. I often see a Manager/Owner there who is also extremely engaging. I'm kind of a pain because I have some weird allergies... yes I'm Soy Tea Latte Girl with all sorts of special requests. It's never a problem and they always get it right. They are only a Almond/Coconut Milk menu addition away from perfection! read more

The coffee here is GREAT. Staff is very friendly. I don't even mind no drive thru. But why is it so darn expensive. They are way more expensive than big bees or Tim Horton. read more

They always have great service. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Try and stop by on a regular basis when I need coffee on the go.

I LOVE biggby and this location! I come here 3-4 times a week and would come more if I wasn't a college student! Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is always clean and coffee is great :) read more
