I stopped in with a buddy on a Tuesday morning to get a coffee drink and a sandwich. The cashier was a bit dry on the greeting as well as the rest of the interaction i had with her at the register. My friend asked about a drink that was on the wall and she really didn't elaborate. She just gave a quick "That's a freeze." The space was clean. I noticed about 8 coffee pots on the counter. When the people behind the counter finish your food and drinks the say whatever it is and place it on the counter. There is no ticket number or name that they call your order by. Which makes it confusing and easy for people to take the wrong thing. A lady took the sandwich that I ordered. They had to make me another egg and cheese asiago bagel.... The sandwich was decent. The Tigers cold brew that my friend had was good. The carmel Vanilla latte I had was lacking vanilla but was still ok. read more

One of the few remaining Biggby Coffee locations left! Their coffee is great, just a little bit expensive. Parking is a little tight in this lot for a larger vehicle. No drive thru either, but that's okay. I usually get different flavors of their iced coffee and they're always served perfectly to me and in a timely manner. The only setback is the prices. I find it difficult to come in here often due to the prices of the different coffees available. I would hate to see this location go as well, but I think the prices need to come down in order to compete with other coffee chains in the area. read more

My husband has been here a few times. He's had their peppermint mocha without whip cream. It's always so delicious and always tastes the same. Biggby's peppermint mocha is quite good for a chain coffee place. It's a perfect blend of almond milk, peppermint syrup and coffee. He slurps it down quick, it's that good. read more

Pretty good coffee all the time. I just wanted almost 20 mins for a simple sandwich. The 2 girls at the register were just taking the new orders. This place is a joke. The people who work here wish they could be actual baristas. The syrups and overall quality of their coffee products are pretty subpar- especially compared to their plentiful competition in Ferndale. They only seem to care to interact with familiar faces- so good luck if you are a first time customer. This is a great Biggby location. The service is always friendly, and the wait times are next to nothing. The baristas even go out of their way to strike up a friendly conversation with you from my experience. Some of Biggbys corporate competitors don't hide the fact that you're just an order they're trying to fulfill...not here! Very refreshing. Conveniently located on 9 mile, its centrally located and walkable for most Ferndale residents and offers plenty of parking for those who drive. Also close to Ferndale foods, so it's a nice pop in before knocking out groceries for the week. 4 stars only because it's rather small with only a few indoor seating options. I feel the prices are way to high for basic average drinks. $4 and change for a Small hot chocolate. The furnishings are sparse. It does look clean and the drinks were decent, but not anywhere near excellent. The employees helped, but they didn't greet us or say what can I get for you upon entering. read more

I've been grabbing a coffee/tea here pretty regularly since I moved close just over a year ago. Absolutely the nicest staff anywhere in Ferndale! Always chatty and super friendly. I often see a Manager/Owner there who is also extremely engaging. I'm kind of a pain because I have some weird allergies... yes I'm Soy Tea Latte Girl with all sorts of special requests.
