The tea was the star of the show, we wished that we lived in the area so that we could come back and try all of the various different teas that were offered. Our favorite tea this afternoon was the Great Tisdane, however, the other two that we had were also top tier. The strawberry salads were light and refreshing, the gumbo was fantastic, best we have ever had. The finger sandwiches and desserts were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked, all three of us had a different favorite dessert from the selections chosen. The restaurant itself is beautiful, perfect for any special occasion. I think I took more pictures in the tea house than I did at any of the other activities all weekend. I would highly recommend this, and will absolutely return if ever in the Detroit area again.

I stayed until about 5:30 and more families started coming in and there were quite a few kids around. There is a small playpen area for kids that is not padded, and watching a two year old climb around with no adult looked like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Overall, I had a good experience.
