I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her. I would have liked to check it out, but my teenage sons were ready to leave after visiting the gift shop. The gift shop was clearly marked with an arrow to go up the stairs. There were so many cool things, we circled the shop several times and kept finding new items we didn't see previously. Wind chimes, incense, mugs, toys, clothes, kitchen gadgets, paintings, candles, etc. It really had something for everyone. The cashier was very nice and offered assistance while also allowing us privacy to shop without feeling like we were being watched. My only suggestion would be for more souvenir items specific to VT. There were a few but not many. I was able to find some silly things - a VT tic tac toe board and a small map of VT puzzle. There were bottle openers as well, but that wouldn't have been suitable for the friends we were getting gifts for. My son bought himself a multi-tool pen and little notepad.
