Easy to miss, but you'll be sorry if you do. Unassuming, but full disclosure, this place makes really good coffee! The gentleman who took our orders was very friendly and made my son a kid's hot chocolate that was delicious & my iced Vermont Maple Syrup latte was flavorful, light and the perfect balance of flavors. Based off rating we drove over an hour to get a coffee here as online it said they were open. Get there and they were closed! We were so disappointed. Not sure if this place is still open, We could see the coffee machine through the window, so maybe. If company is still open I highly recommend you update your hours online. As we waited for our house special maple lattes, our server was unbelievably friendly, warm, and kind, making for already an exceptional experience. To our dismay, we realized we did not have any cash to pay her (as the Coffee House was currently cash only due to technical difficulties). However, upon sheepishly telling our server, fully prepared to travel to the nearest ATM to settle our tab, she was unfazed, telling us to simply pay the next time we were in town and writing our names down. This is the best coffee I've ever had! Every fall when I travel to Vermont I made sure to stop here. They have a Maple Iced Latte and the ice cubes are made from coffee so the drink never gets watered down. Be wary though- this coffee house has some wonky hours. They're always around on weekends but on weekdays it's hit or miss. read more

Great service and local Deans Beans coffee. They offer skim, soy, and almond milk at no extra charge AND even steam it for an 'ole. We were curious if this little shop wouldl be good, and it certainly was. Bonus: free maple syrup for a hint of Vermont flavor. Pull in here on a long trip and you'll get an espresso strong enough to keep you up all the way to DC. Seriously it must be more than a double shot? I'm happy to see they still serve Bernie Buzz coffee here in 2020. Cappuccino is not really worth it, unless you're into the Starbucks style foam with espresso dumped inside. Seriously, why in the 21st century is it so hard to get a properly made cappuccino in the USA? Anyway, should you wish to go there, they have soy, oat, and other non dairy mills. Everything is top quality organic. One important note; this is not a cafe so much as a stand where you order at the window. You'll have to sit in your car or take it on your way, and there's definitely no restroom. Hours are somewhat erratic; because it's a one person operation, but if they appear to be closed during the day, just as the farmer at the farm stand, he'll know when she's coming back. All that said, the espresso is strong, good, organic, and well priced, so 5 stars from me. Support your local businesses:) read more

A neat little coffee shack located at the junction of Routes 9 and 100 in the Tallulah Antiques parking lot. I stop here for coffee on my travels between NY and NH. The inside of the shack is very small with cashier counter and shelves with self serve carafes of several different kinds of coffee (including Dean's Beans-organic blend), coffee beans, mugs, candy, and plastic wrapped baked goods. The coffee is tastes okay, but good enough to keep me awake. Very quick and convenient! read more

Great location! Hometown feel. Coffee oasis! After a long day of skiing/snowboarding it up at Mount Snow, my boyfriend and I were eager to get caffeinated for the long drive home. Needless to say, there's not a Starbucks around here, so we figured we'd just tough it out. Low and behold! The Coffee House popped out of nowhere and we excitedly pulled in. Wahoo! This little shop has a great selection of drip coffee, and a help yourself set-up for cream and sugar. Two steaming coffees only put us back $4, and the shop keeper also gave us complimentary chocolate covered espresso beans. Delicious! I definitely plan on stopping by the next time I am at Mount Snow! Tip- Keep your eyes peeled for this place: it's essentially a small shack by the side of the road. read more

I stopped here on a cold day to get myself a warm drink as I drove back through Vermont on my way home to Connecticut. Nobody was there when I pulled in and the door was locked, but there was a thermos of hot coffee and some supplies set out with a sign that said "honor system" and that the coffees were $1.50 each.
