Wow! I LOVE this place! We walked in and were immediately greeted by a very friendly mature lady, I wish I remembered her name. I love biscuits and would call myself an authority on the baked, fluffy goodness! If you love biscuits, make sure to stop here! Coffee is very good also. I just love my weekend on Lake blueridge but even more, downtown is full of friendly and delicious places to eat. Bigfoot biscuit - funky fun vibe with some seriously good biscuits !!! You order at the bar and then they bring it to your table. Only improvement would be the coffee area - it gets backed up at the end of the bar and I felt rushed to get my coffee just the way I like it. The front yard is set up with tables so we sat outside - nice. Happened upon this place when looking up the bigfoot museum, and happy we did! My family of four had the mad henderson, the bigfoot, the sasquatch, and the buttered biscuit. We also shared the pulled pork tots. Everything was really good, the biscuits were the perfect size to feel nice and full for the next few hours and I loved the sausage egg and cheese combo on mine. The rest of my family loved their food too and their honey butter was a hit with my son (who tends to be a little picky). I think we would sit outside next time because it is also a very cute little establishment tucked away off the main drag of Blue Ridge. The service was also great, with friendly and helpful staff. My friends and I ate at Bigfoot biscuit when we were staying in the Blue Ridge Mountains for a girls weekend. Even though the line was incredibly long the staff was super friendly and operated like a well-oiled machine. They have inside seating and outside seating complete with a covered patio outside for enjoying all downtown has to offer! My favorite part of this place was definitely all of the Bigfoot memorabilia and fun facts. I got a little foot biscuit for breakfast and an orange juice. It was exactly what I needed!! This is a great local biscuit spot! They make all of their biscuits homemade and you can taste the difference. The service was regular, a slower hometown crew that is kind and takes their time with each customer. You have indoor and outdoor seating here which is so pleasant when it's great weather. You order at the counter and they bring your food out with your number. It was quite busy on a weekday since they only have one counter to order from. The biscuit i got was really really salty in my opinion. Not sure if it was the chicken or the gravy, but it was definitely too much. The biscuit was not fluffy either, it was quite dense. I also thought there was no service here. Seeing as you order from the counter I'm not surprised. They also kept telling us we left a number in the front eventhough we each were holding a number and had all gotten our food without trouble. My husband and I had to stop here for breakfast while in Blue Ridge. We came early on a Sunday morning and downtown was pretty quiet with plenty of parking. The inside was nicely decorated and very homey. The two workers we encountered were also super sweet and accommodating. It felt like being with family! The food was SUPER good. We had two biscuits and the tots... so yummy!! We couldn't get any mimosas at that time but they had delicious orange and pineapple juice. We can't wait to stop in again sometime soon. read more

The biscuits are great and I wish they had some fresh jam you could slather on them. Instead, you get meager filling of eggs and sausage or what have you and imo they were overpowered by the biscuit. The biscuits and gravy and the tater tot's on the other hand were sensational. They were crispy, fresh tasting, with a heap of beer cheese drizzled on it. The gravy on the biscuits was everything you'd want in a gravy and balances out the richness of the biscuit. read more

Went to Bigfoot biscuit on Sunday and got there right on time. Breakfast is only served up until noon. After ordering we were told that the food is taking about 30 minutes as they make their biscuits from scratch. It took a bit longer than 30 minutes but let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. We had the breakfast tots, the Sasquatch sandwich and the biscuits and gravy. Everything was absolutely delicious and the chipotle aioli served with the tots is amazing! This place deserves more reviews because it's home to one of the best biscuits I have ever had. Also good to note they do not serve alcohol on Sunday's. read more

We had a hard time finding the place. My husband found it on Google Maps and loved the name. The place is cute but I found it a bit odd to place an order for breakfast. The food was decent, sandwiches were big. We did find the biscuits a bit dry. I was also disappointed that there was no unsweetened tea. Their only options for non alcoholic drinks are what they have in cans & bottles. The service was ok. The staff were quick to get tables cleaned when people left. We up sitting at a dirty table for a bit and pushing all the dirty plates to one side. Someone did finally come and take the dirty dishes but I had to flag her down to get the table wiped. read more

I live in Blue Ridge full time and had heard of this establishment. It's a counter service menu with food brought to your table. The service was good. The server was friendly. The food was pretty abysmal. They described the biscuits as "cathead" biscuits. They were a large diameter biscuit but they were also pretty flat and had no buttery flavor. So all you got was the crunch from the tops and bottoms. There was no real fluffy interior to them. The gravy was even worse. It had a watery consistency as if made with cornstarch instead of a roux. We tasted no dairy to thicken the gravy and it had a bizarre taste that lingered for hours. The scrambled eggs had the consistency of a McDonalds sandwich folded egg but thinner. AMAZING coffee as long as you have enough sugar & creamer (don't use the french vanilla, tho). I just did regular Coffee Mate & sugar. Mmmmmmmmm. If it's a cool morning, bring a jacket because they leave the back door open and you'll freeze. Biscuits were fab - DO GET the Sasquatch Biscuit Sandwich. Hubby wasn't thrilled with the Sausage Gravy, since it's not the traditional white cream sausage gravy all Southerner's know. More "upscale" version and much spicier, so avoid the gravy is you, like me, can't handle spice beyond black pepper.
