I love Korean barbecue and this place is a gem! I found this place from Instagram and couldn't wait to try it out. It is easy to call ahead and order to go. It is in the same shipping center as lobster banh mi. I love this lunch box concept with various options for meat. I ordered kalbi, the octopus and bibimbap. You can get some sauces on the side and the bull sauce definitely adds an extra spice if you are brave! The food was well packed and they are delicious! The kalbi is my favorite. Tender beef grilled to perfection. Banchan of the day gives you lots of variety and the dressing for the salad is so refreshing. The brown rice is so fluffy too! The bibimbap was packed with vegetables, beef and also very tasty. My friend tried to grilled kalbi herself and she started ordering here instead because they do such a good job and the prices are fair (they have large orders available). Sooo fresh and delicious! I drove all the way from the Kennesaw area and it was worth it. The food is healthy, fresh, and there is a lot of variety to choose from. Walked in and the restaurant was a little ecclectic but it was cute. The lady at the counter was friendly and explained everything on the menu because it was my first time going. Excellent meal today on my first visit to this Korean restaurant. It's located in a strip mall, and the restaurant is clean, bright, and cheery. Y'all. This place rocks! I've only been here twice, but I've got the third visit already on my calendar for next week and I'm sure I'll be back a bajillion more times later. My first visit to this gem was having dinner with a mentor who suggested this restaurant after seeing people rave about it in the foodie group ATL Asian Eats. Sure, let's try it! On a Wednesday evening, we were one of a handful of patrons. We took advantage of the time and asked the lady at the counter about the menu and her recommendations. She suggested we order the meal box and the most popular dish is the LA Galbi, however, she said their pork ribs are phenomenal and will beat any other restaurant out there because they cook theirs over a char-fire grill. OMG y'all. When I say their pork ribs are incredibly flavorful, fall-off-the-bone, and something to write home about - I really did message my coworker as soon as I got home and told him we absolutely HAVE to come here for lunch. I ended up bringing 4 other coworkers with me and they all loved the food. And like I said earlier, I'm going back again in a few days to introduce this place to MORE people! Both visits I've ordered the meal box with 2 sides. How could you order anything else? I've had the pork ribs both visits and have tried the japchae, vegetable dumplings, and ddeokbokki. Everything is great! Order and pay at the counter and food will be delivered to your table. There is complimentary self-serve water and utensils in the back along with a variety of knickknacks you can purchase. The entire restaurant has a sweet cozy vibe and the soft music makes you feel relaxed as you're eating. We went to Big Sister's Kitchen after reading stellar reviews here. Just like others, we ordered 2 meal plates, one with bibimbap and one with spicy tofu. The meals are huge and come with 2 sides - lots of choices from kimchi to cucumber salad to japchae and creamed cheesy corn. Service was good, portions are huge and prices are decent. While we were there, multiple takeout orders were being made, place was busy with a few asian moms and little kids (made it a bit noisy) and some regular customers. Please, do yourself a favor and check this place out - it is AMAZING. I got the chicken teriyaki meal box and it's definitely a hefty serving size. I had to take some of it to go. It was so delicious and the NY style cheese corn side is a MUST try. I also got the chance to try the ddeokbokki as a side and it's also so good: sweet, spicy, and also surprisingly crispy - I loved it. The owners are sweet and service was fairly quick too! Quite a bit of indoor seating available. I got a spicy pork meal box for dinner, and I thought it was a great deal. The pork came with rice, and my sides were dumplings and japchae. The pork was tender and well-flavored, and the dumplings and japchae were good. The portion size was very large and very filling. My wife got the bibimbap, and their gochujang sauce was really good - spicy, smoky, flavorful. I called ahead the order and it was ready for pickup as promised. Many people seem to get it to go, but for some reason I find it tastes better when I eat at the restaurant- maybe because the owner is friendly and the food feels like real comfort food. I had spicy pork and it had generous amount of meat it was tender and had perfect seasoning. Ddeokbokki and sweet potato salad are my favorite sides here. read more

Good food! I love this lunchbox style where you can choose how many sides you want. The lunch box i got had tofu and one side with a soup. The soup was so flavorful and definitely my favorite part of the meal. The fried rice was also pretty good. The salad came with the meal already, and the sauce was delicious. This place is SO good. The staff are super informative and friendly, and the decor is too cute. I love that they sell little trinkets and bags in store. The food is served cafeteria style so it's nostalgic. The food is delicious. We had it catered to work and it was still 10/10 - that's saying a lot. It kept just as well as if we ate it fresh. You can really taste that it was wood grilled. Absolutely must get the fried rice - it's more like garlic rice and it's seasoned so perfectly. I absolutely loved my food on school trays! It really brought me back a sense of nostalgia. Although lets be honest this meal was better than any school lunch in the US! The Lunch tray start with your choice of protein and an option of sides. They had LA Galbi, Beef Bulgolgi, Pork Bulgolgi, and chicken. Each side is an additional charge, but Rice & Salad comes with the meal. They also have bowls & A La carte options if you don't want a lunch tray. I got the LA Galbi, with Cucumber Kimchi & Japchae. The Galbi was warm, perfectly marinated & grilled. I thoroughly enjoy it the most. The Japchae is on the peppery side, I wish there was more flavor. However you can't go wrong with Japchae, especially with meat! The cucumber kimchi was nice pallet cleanse. It is on the sweeter side, which I prefer mine slightly more sour & spicy. Its great if you can't handle spicy, because even their tteoboki & kimchi is on the sweeter mild side. They have a small drink station where you can get complimentary Barley Tea & water. I liked how throughout the restaurant you can look at some of the items they sell. They have cute little phone cases, tote bags, and even tea sets. This place is great for a quick bite to eat! Such a nice Korean restaurant. Located off a main busy highway but easy to find, and plenty of parking. It feels like you're at home eating here.. it's cozy and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I ordered the Galbi meal box and as my side I got the ban chan and an extra side for just $1 more. The galbi had a lot of flavor and you can tell it was wood grilled. The beef bulgogi is just the right amount of smoky and not too salty or sweet. I've tried a majority of the sides as well and they hit the spot every time. It tastes like an elevated home-cooked meal due to how the meats are cooked. Overall, I highly recommend trying this place out for good Korean cuisine. It really tastes like a mom's home cooked meal and portion size is good as well. I would come daily for lunch if it was closer to my office. I had a really enjoyable lunch here and can't wait to go back with a few friends. They have what is called a meal box with is a protein with 1 or 2 sides of your choice. It is served on the neat little trays and it was plenty of food. I had the beef Bulgogi with spicy cucumber and stir fried vegetables. It also came with rice and a fresh side salad with the yummiest dressing. My sister had the spicy squid which was spicy, it had jalapeño slices, bell peppers, and that red kimchi looking sauce. She ordered the banchan of the day which was an assortment of 3 sides. Today it was soy sauce boiled egg, japache (clear noodles), and I think it was a seaweed kimchi, but I can't remember. There's some hot tea and water over where the utensils are at. My friend got his plate almost immediately. Several minutes later my food arrived. The ingredients were fresh and everything tasted good and not heavy.
